Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

@hotpotlover It sounds like we’re in exactly the same position! (Except this would be my first baby.) Are you going to wait to see if AF appears before testing?

To follow @1littlewren’s great suggestion, my “symptoms” so far have included: slight insomnia since around 2DPO (waking up every couple of hours - unheard of for me), feeling quite warm since then too (again unheard of - I’m always cold!), feeling generally a bit bloated and (soz) quite gassy in the last few days, occasionally feeling a bit nauseous when hungry a few days ago, brief sharpish cramps at around 8DPO, small amount of brownish CM around 9 DPO, slightly fuller and more tender breasts mainly around the sides over last few days, the weird tingling left breast in last day or so, the occasional little aches, twinges and cramping feelings, slight increase in creamy type CM today - now at 10 DPO I think.

ALL of which could be PMS / normal cycle stuff I’d never noticed before / in my head! Joy!

How are you getting on with the OPKs @hotpotlover ? I didn’t get any positives last month, though had a couple of lines that were getting there. I think my peak must be short / overnight so I’ve bought the cheapy ones on Amazon and am going to go x3 a day during my FW next month!

Does anyone else have any OPK tips to share? What times of day do you get positive results?

You guys who are thinking of testing early.. don't do it haha!
I tested at 10DPO (bottom pic) and thought I got my vvvfl BFP. I posted on a few other threads and people were saying 'congratulations!'... then at 11DPO bfn. Today at 12dpo the line is back (top pic) but it's no darker!
So confused! AF due on Thursday so I guess time will tell. Maybe it's a chemical pregnancy, or an evap/indent or I just have low hcg levels and it's going to take longer to develop 🤷🏻‍♀️
But interesting what some of you said about vits messing with your cycle too. I'm taking DHA & coq10 too.
I just hate this waiting game when others getting blazing positives at 8/9dpo 😂

@Emmgrem That looks darker to me at 12DPO for sure. Granted, it’s not by masses but there is a difference I think.

Hello ladies!! I am new in this chat and doing this as well. I have been trying to get pregnant for more than 5 years, since age 27. My husband and I were trying for 2-3 years without thinking anything was wrong and we went to check and everything seem to be fine but too strange for our age. We were added to the list and we did 2 rounds of IVF, in our second one I got pregnant but ended in miscarriage after 5 weeks. We are both fine after that! After the last IVF in 2018 we decided to take a break and over a year after I had a laparoscopy (exploratory) to evaluate what they didn’t check before the IVF. Everything was fine, no endometriosis and Fallopian tubes all healthy, my doctor said he can’t see any reasons I can’t get pregnant. Now, over a year later we are starting again the magical journey. I am 33 and my dear Husband is 37, we both like to be healthy and exercise. I like to run and and have been in a couple of half Marathons and 10Ks. I have been investigating all possible complications with runners and it doesn’t seem to cause any harm.

At the moment I am on the 2ww after making sure we did the business when I was ovulating and even days after to maintain the fun, very important! I am supposed to have my period 27th or 28th, that means tomorrow or Thursday. I am having mild cramps and yesterday I starting seeing a very small pinkish/brown spotting, mainly when I wipe. Today is more brown and still nothing on my pad, just small stains. My periods are very punctual and never have spotting days before. This is our first month trying and honestly I don’t think we can be that lucky after everything we have gone through all the years before. I am just looking for opinions, experiences and anyone who had similar symptoms with regular periods. I really want to get pregnant and I am trying to stay away from google but it can be so hard, even worse when something looks so different than what you know. Your symptoms sound very promising!

I'm definitely waiting until AF is due before I start testing. Otherwise I'm going to drive myself crazy 😜

I was using mainly the clearblue tests this month ( the one with the faces), I had four days of "high fertility" with the flashing smiley face and then got my solid smiling face/peak fertility on Sunday morning with my first urine. I confirmed this with a cheap ovulation test from Amazon, the line was darker than the control line, so positive.

It's totally possible that you missed your LH surge. For some women the LH surge can be long and for others really quick, so easy to miss. I think they say it's best to test with first urine in the morning.

So I just did an IC hpt and I think I got a faint line. Like, so faint that I can't get a pic of it... but I can see something. I'm freaked.. I'll do a frer first thing. I swear if this is an evap I am going to be writing a strong worded letter!!!

@JCQ2021 Welcome! What a tough journey you have had to get here and what a fantastic attitude you’ve got! I’m sure it’ll happen for you soon, now that you’ve put your minds at ease about possible causes and because you’re being healthy and having fun! I’m definitely no expert but that spotting does sound kind of promising too! I hope you find some useful insights from everyone here! Keep us posted 🙂

Oh @Emmgrem , that must be so confusing! I would be POAS constantly to look for a change! I think HCG only doubles every 48-72 hours, so maybe it makes sense not to have seen much change yet, but you might see something by Thurs?

Thank you @hotpotlover! I’m definitely going to try with FMU next month - I had read that LH is strongest in the afternoon/evening, but I think I’m missing the surge only testing then!

Just did a FRER with very diluted wee and got a faint positive... gonna do one with FMU tomorrow

Not sure how far you read back but that’s exactly what’s happened to me and a few of the other girls.. my period came with a tiny bit of red blood so I was convinced it was going to get heavier and never did. When my boobs carried on hurting a week after my actual period would have been due I did a test and was a strong positive! When are you going to test xx

So sorry to hear that @Fifi1086. I did struggle to see the line tbh - looked like there was something there maybe but no colour - possible evap? Wouldn’t want you thinking you’d had a loss when you hadn’t! Take care of yourself today ❤️

I'm great, thank you.... having a lie in this morning while my partner takes care of our son hehe

No further signs.... Cramping has stopped for now... I feel absolutely normal.
I definitely won't take a test now..I expect AF to arrive sometime in the next few days. Will only take a test when I'm overdue.
