How long after stopping for pill for first proper period?

Hi all,

I was wondering how long after stopping the contraceptive pill was it until you had your first natural non-withdrawal bleed period?

I stopped the pill on 10th December and had my first withdrawal bleed on 13th December. Now I’m just impatiently waiting for my period to come back.

@midnight90 exciting! Yeah I think all our advice would probably be come off earlier than you think you need to and use non hormonal contraception till you're ready to 'try'! Hope your cycle comes back really quickly and regularly but the wait is very frustrating if you have to! :)

Hey, wanted to share in case it helps, first cycle was 43 days, next was 37, I'm currently on day 23 of third and awaiting next period ... be great if it can come down by 5 days again- so more in line with normal cycle length xx
