Hey all, playing catch up with the posts as just come off this set of shifts. How is everyone doing?

@notyetamumbuttrying managed to watch a bit more Bridgerton. I'm on episode 7 now.

I'm feeling relatively calm this month. On CD 9 and thinking how going to try SMEP again this month. Haven't actually TTC this month due to being on opposite shifts the last week to DH. Cue scheduled activity for the next week 🤣🤣 if I don't laugh about it I'd cry lol.

@Dogmum13 I used to take seven seas for TTC but it made my cycle a bit iffy. Atm I'm just taking folic acid, vitamin c and also vitamin d as bloods showed a vit d deficiency. My consultant advised against anything else and was adamant vit D and folic acid are the main ones to take.

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 12:06

@RobinRose I've been taking proceive but I have to open up the capsules and sprinkle it in a yogurt and it's turning me 🤢

@kerrym87 do you have many symptoms? I have severe ovulation pains and milder pain the whole month. I had a laparoscopy done 7 yes ago and told me there was nothing there so I was shocked when my gp said that's what she was referring me for

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 12:13

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I've been taking proceive but have to open it and sprinkle it into yogurt which is turning me 🤢

@theawkwardblonde I took 7 seas before I took proceive and had no issues. I never got any ewcm before multivitamins so think I need to take something but wondering which vitamin is helping it 🤔 thinking it's maybe the zinc?

notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 12:15

@Dogmum13 I had to wait a year too. Turning 35 in March now 😩 glad the ball is rolling for you! Best of luck with it all 🤞🏾
@Dogmum13 just pregnacare would be fine but you could separate them out and take coQ10, vital dha and folic acid. That's been recommended a few times across threads I've been on.
@RobinRose chocolate and lingerie sound ideal 👌🏾 hope the witch stays away!!
@Theawkwardblonde how you finding it now? Cd10 today and need to get some sex in as I usually ov cd12 😬 prob won't do it until tomorrow. I just can't be arsed in the week! Work hardly makes me in the mood cos I'm basically stressed all day and so is he 😩 I'm in one of them moods today. I should be happy, the sun is even shining today 🤩
Just a whistle stop hello today as busy as per. Will log bk on later and try and reply to all then xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 12:16

@Dogmum13 if it's zinc you need then the vital dha ones! Had zinc and omega 3, give them a google x

OP posts:
notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 12:16

Has* not had

OP posts:
Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 12:22

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks I'll have a look 🙂 I can't swallow the pregnacare unfortunately 😔 I'm assuming it's zinc that's helping but not 100% sure. Will research that too lol

RobinRose · 22/01/2021 12:29

@Dogmum13 oh no that doesn't sound great! I take vitamin D3, recently switched to the one @CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker has suggested. CoQ10, Vitamin E and Feroglobin (includes folic acid, zinc and a couple other thing)! I think the Feroglobin has helped with my periods, they don't appear to be as clotty. All easy to swallow I find but I have never had an issue with tablets, expect the cheap paracetamol, they are so dry and get stuck 🤢
I experience ovulation pain too and pains untill af 🤔

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 12:32

@RobinRose is that the proceive ones?

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 12:38

@notyetamumbuttrying what size are the vital dha tablets? They look quite big in the photo

notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 12:42

@Dogmum13 hmm can't remember now. Not as big as pregnacare. I don't take them now as wanted to cut bk on all the supplements once I realised the issue wasn't with me. I just take folic, vit d and coq10 now. Coq10 is huge so you'll hate them!
@RobinRose same with the ov pains and pains before AF

Annny27 · 22/01/2021 14:31

I will reply to everyone later but just ahd a call with out soerm analysis (well my husbands sperm :p)

And they have improved since the last time :D

Previous: morphology 2%
Now: morphology 6%

Previous: motility 50%
Now: motility 58%

Previous count per ml 13million
Now: count per ml 43.5million

Things we have done differently:

  1. loose boxers
  2. taking wellman every day
  3. eating more fruit and veg
  4. exercising

I am super please but now also panicked that we have unexplained fertility as they haven't found anything to explain it so far!

notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 14:42

@Annny27 great news! Gives me hopes for my Dh now as he's basically done the same although proxceed plus rather than wellman. His boxers aren't loose tho, I'll see if I can get him to change. Were you given any next steps?

OP posts:
RobinRose · 22/01/2021 14:43

@Dogmum13 which ones sorry? None of them are proceive 😊

@Annny27 Woohoo ! That is a good improvement, especially the count, we have been doing the same as you so hopefully dps count is slowly increasing! Was everything else OK?

Annny27 · 22/01/2021 14:44

@notyetamumbuttrying I have an appointment in 3 weeks time to chat to the doctor but they said "it might just be a little bit more time of trying" and I feel like screaming if that's the case hah!!!!

Yep deffo get him on the loose boxers. I bought a cheap multipack from tesco and now we look at his old boxers and can't believe how tight they were 🤣🤣

Annny27 · 22/01/2021 14:45

@robinrose they only just called to let me know his results were in so nothing about me this time. But all my tests have been normal anyway.

Think we are rhe "unexplained fertility group" haha

Annny27 · 22/01/2021 14:46

I guess it takes 3 months to improve sperm and it has only been 3 months just so now going forward let's hope all his sperm are good!

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 15:03

@RobinRose I'm not sure which ones you were referring to. You said the ones @CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker mentioned but I don't know which ones you mean

RobinRose · 22/01/2021 15:09

@Dogmum13 oh I'm so sorry! The Vitamin D spray!

Dogmum13 · 22/01/2021 15:13

@RobinRose great thank you 😊

notyetamumbuttrying · 22/01/2021 17:59

@Annny27 are they just called "loose boxers" all boxers look the same to me 😂
Good you've got a call booked in, let's hope they say more than just keep trying 🤦🏾‍♀️
My Dh is in month 4 of improvements now so it's a shame we couldn't get an SA sooner! I'm ovulating on Sunday so we'll dtd this weekend. I suppose now I can start thinking it might happen naturally...although his numbers were so bad first time round, I'm not holding out much hope!

OP posts:
Annny27 · 22/01/2021 18:18

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah I think they are called loose fit or boxer shorts (as opposed to boxer briefs which is the tight ones that I assume most men in 20s and 30s wear)

Its funny because his bits basically fall out of them but atleast they get to breathe 🤣🤣

Hayley19835 · 22/01/2021 18:44

Evening girls!

So my AMH result is back and it's awful 0.467 and for my age 37 it should be 14.2 😱😱😱
Not sure where this leaves us now with male issues too ☹️ generally feeling sorry for myself and with pending AF I just feel so disheartened by the whole process

@Annny27 fab news on the increases that's brilliant!
