Newbie TTC 2021 club!

Hi girls - looking for a little crew to share the ttc journey with - we are newbies this year - decided on Jan 31st to start trying after 12 years together! but had literally just missed my ovulation day for that cycle, so even though we had some fun over NY we are properly starting next cycle around the end of the month - just have to wait to finish this cycle now, and I've never wanted a period to come so quickly haha!

So - any cycle sisters out there who will be trying with me on or around end of Jan? I'm Cd21 right now.

And feel free to share stories and ages!

I'm 34 and have been off the pill for about 2 years now - we don't really use protection just pull out lol and never had a scare so I'm a little worried we could have a bit of a long journey. Although my mum conceived me first time trying so I'm praying it's in the genetics lol!

Not sure about you but I'm already getting obsessed which seems to be pretty normal lol but it would be good to have some pals to talk to rather than my cat or my husband, who I think I could quite quickly freak out if he knew just how many mum'snet threads I've read!

Also... What are you most looking forward to being pregnant?

@KM11 I think you're covered. Fingers crossed 🤞 @Aims1991 he'll be delighted 😂 I'm due AF on Thursday. But.....I'm 95% sure I had implantation bleeding this morning 🙈 I'm 10/11 DPO. Just the tiniest bit of browny/red blood....and nothing since. Fingers crossed it's not AF coming early but I don't think so. It's different. If I'm pregnant on first cycle at 34 il be well chuffed 😂

Thanks ladies, had a full of melt down last night, didn't sleep very well but had a little snooze this morning and feeling so much more positive. I start the cycle like 'we'll just dtd every other day and ramp it up when my app says I'm ov', then when your body doesn't match the app it messes up the routine!! If this cycle isn't the one I'll def be using opks as guessing is stressful 🤣

How's everyone else doing?

@KM11 CD 10 seems very early to have ovulated. How long is your cycle? Id say you're only at the start of your fertile window and Havnt missed ovulation. I have a 30 day cycle and they put my fertile window day 10-18. I think I ovulated day 17. Id highly recommend the clearblue advanced opk. If I was you I'd go off down to boots today and get one, do a test in the morning. Treat yo self 😂 If not I'd keep DTD every 2nd day until day 17 👌

@sack83 my cycles are 25 days long usually. I was expecting to ovulate today or tomorrow (CD 11 or 12) but definitely had ovulation pain in my leftside yesterday so guessing that means I already have or am about too. Gonna dtd today, tomorrow then every other day until sat which will be CD16. Wanted to take the relaxed approach but I'm anything but!! 😂 I'll def be giving them a go on next cycle if this one isn't lucky

@KM11 ah that makes sense. You are well covered though if you're keeping the DTD going! Fingers crossed there's no next cycle and you don't need an opk at all 👌🤞

CD28 - only 2DPO, my cycles are crazy long about 38-40 days on average.

I've been meditating and trying to remain calm, I got a bit stressed out last cycle - living up to my screen name!

I'm convinced I'll know when to expect BPF if I get sore boobs, but that hasn't happened yet...

@StressyLady I'm feeling nervous myself today 😂 AF is due tomorrow. I Havnt tested. I really want to have a red bull, so busy in work and exhausted! I just wish I knew if I was pregnant or not so I could have one with no worries. Would it matter at this stage if I was pregnant? Iv googled and there's mixed opinion on it 🙈

Hey ladies! I think I'm out unfortunately. RHR and BBT are dipping over the past couple of days. AF due fri but I wonder if she won't arrive earlier as my cycles sometimes go 31-29-31... hope she comes soon so I can get it over with lol.

@HaresHoping you aren't out until AF arrives! Fingers crossed 🤞 I'm not tracking BBT or anything so who knows! 😂 Iv lots of symptoms but all explainable as PMS really. The symptoms are similar. I was sick at work today though, could be morning sickness, could be lunch! Who knows! 😂 I might test tomorrow morning, I might wait a bit longer and just see.

So I got too curious....and tested and it's a veeerrry faint BFP!!! 🙈❤️😂 I had the implantation bleed yesterday so it's still too early for high HCG, and it wasn't morning pee, so hopefully it keeps rising 🤞I'm going test again tomorrow/day after but I'm feeling positive....literally 😂🤰🏼No photo because it's so faint it's not worth posting 😂 But everybody cross your fingers for me!!

Hi all we have been trying to get pregnant since last year after we had a miscarriage.
As its not happened already we have decided to try tracking my ovulation and I have bought some tests. How many times a day did everyone test? And also does it have to be at the same time each day?
I am new to using these methods and could really use some guidance or words of wisdom 🙏
If anyone has any advice , I would be really grateful xx

@HaresHoping no congratulations yet! It's super faint. Like really faint. We can't even get a photo of it. Yeh OH was there. It's so faint we both keep thinking we are imagining it 😂 we're convinced it's negative now! I guess we will test in another day or so if AF doesn't rear her ugly head 🙄🙈

Hi @SISSON19 👋 this is my first cycle. I'm no expert. I used the clearblue advanced digital ovulation test and just followed instructions in the box. I have a 30 day cycle so started testing day 10. I tested every morning first thing. Thats the extent of my wisdom 😂🙈 Best of luck 🤞❤️

@sack83 oh bless you what a stress! I'm sure all will be absolutely positive but I feel for you now having to wait for the HCG to build up... maybe get a box set on the go to take your mind off it and make the time go more quickly?!

Hi @SISSON19 so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I did the Femometer OPKs that work with the app. I think for those types the evening is better so I did it at the same time every day after work until I saw the lines start to reach the high stage, then I took them morning, lunchtime and evening to catch the peak. Hope that helps! ☺️

@sack83 huge congrats!!! You seemed to have quite a lot of symptoms... do you mind sharing? Every symptom is so similar to PMS, it's turmoil for me!

So I'm on CD15 and still not OV, I'm sure last month I OV around 16 or 17. I've had a tough few days so haven't been DTD and I know I really should. My OH is saying to wait until I get some smiley faces but I've convinced myself that it's not happening!! Why does this take over our lives and do this to us🙈🙄

How is everyone today?

I was due on yesterday, got a faint line on an FRER this morning ☺️ heart rate dropped to 67 at 12 DPO but has stayed consistent.

I would share a pic but the app is playing silly buggers again 😂

I'm CD33 AF due CD38(ish) going to test next Saturday. I'm really not sure what to expect this cycle... the only real symptom I have is a headache that I've had for days that's not gone away. Oh and a stitch on my left side that just randomly appears, not linked to exercise... Don't know what that means.

@StressyLady thank you so much ☺️ I had the usual cramps but earlier on than usual and really faint until the day AF was due when they ramped up. Been tired and had a sort of full feeling in my womb area. Few headaches and randomly been sneezing loads?! 😂

Keeping everything crossed for you next Saturday 🤞🏻 try to find a way to distract yourself this week! It's so hard waiting isn't it xx

@HaresHoping I'm CD 16, think I ovulated CD 10/11, I have a 25 day cycle usually. One last go tonight then wait it out. Feel quite relaxed so far but we'll see how next week goes 🙈😂
