Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

Thanks for your messages of support this morn ladies. I've had my life's not fair cry for a few hours and have my big girl pants back on now. You're right @Minster2012 there's a child out there somewhere in our future waiting for our love even if we don't go down the conventional route 😊 Where there's a will there's a way as they say!

I've decided I can't really leave the bus as I'm far too invested in everyone else's journeys so I'm not getting off the bus I'm merely sitting on the roof where I can get a bit of fresh air but can still pop down to see how everyone's getting on. Sorry Mrs bus driver I installed the roof seat without asking but the panoramic views are fab so I installed a few seats up here for any time anyone wants a short break from ttc they can come up and chill and enjoy the views before going back downstairs 😉

@dkdk123 💔 I'm sorry this is happening again for you. I can only imagine the pain you're feeling. As the others have said, do what you need to do to get through this and remember we are all here for you whenever you need it. 💕

@gem176 sorry for the delay in reply - with MN being down yesterday even I wasn't able to catch up. I can understand the shock & caution but as others have said, so try to enjoy it... Now with regards to lower carb snacks. I tend to suggest protein rich foods like cold meats, nuts, veg, eggs... However if you're struggling with bug emails and needing snack type meals I'm reluctant to suggest carb free options because you do obviously need some insulin. If you don't mind me asking, do you carb count & use ratios? Typically tend to suggest having a small meal thag has carbs to inject for but them snack wise you could have a lower carb porting that don't require you to take more than 1 unit so you typically don't need to inject for those snacks... Like if you're ratio is 1unit to 10g carbs then keeping your carbs at 10g using things like rice cakes, crisp breads, fruit, yogurt etc paired with some protein & healthy fats (nuts, nut butter, cheese, avocado, meat, eggs). The small amount of carb gives you the energy you need but the protein & fat will slow down the release of that glucose so it makes it low Gi and therefore less impactful on the post meal spike... If this works you may even be able to have a bigger carb portion with the far/protein pairing... Just don't skip the carbs to avoid hypos. How are you getting on with your bloods etc? Also so you have a libre? If not, definitely recommend you do for pregnancy, will make all the testing so much more manageable 😊💕

@paintfairy that's why I chose to tell my mum so early because it was just playing at the back of my mind how bad it was going to be and didn't think I'd be able to enjoy being pregnant if I didn't just tell her so it was out of the way. It was bad when I told her but not too bad I guess 😅🤣

@dollybird89 ohhh I've read Eve of Man and Eve Illusion (book 2) and they're excellent! Easy reads but fast moving and fun. I really can't wait for the 3rd book to come out... I love Giovanna as a writer and her work with Tom on the Eve series is great!

Oh so update... Nothing ralated to ttc.
Yesterday evening I started coughing so I've ahd to have a covid test 🙈 literally had my vaccine 6 days before so if I've got covid it would be bloody typical that I get it in the window between having the vaccine and my body building up an immunity (it takes a few weeks for the body to make the antibodies for the immunity)... Now the 24-48hr wait for results. Also DH is isolating anyway due to a work colleague testing positive, DH has had a negative test but still has to isolate and now I am too until my results are in so I'm grateful that we have a fridge full if food & hopeful that it's a negative test and that this is just a cold. Bloody covid. X

@lucyrp I know, it's so frustrating :( dh didn't want to get a HTB ISA as wants something other than new build, or doesn't like that they limit the amount you can put in, or something- who knows what goes through his head! Mehhhh. I still wish we'd opened one. If we keep putting in the amount we've been saving each month between us we've worked out well have the 15k in 12 months. I'm just being impatient lol.

@paintfairy oh bless that's really sweet of her. Tbh I think unless you've been through this side of ttc where it goes tits up no one really understands do they? So I guess why would they think it was wrong. BUT you live and you learn I suppose.

@Justanothercyster tbh I haven't looked into the details of it I just opened one quickly as the date for them finishing was quite soon so I opened it. I don't want a new build first anyway I would like to renovate but later I'd like to build our own house, yeah you're only allowed to put something like £200 in every month in the first month is only £1000 I think too.

@lucyrp jeepers - gotta love Welsh prices! My 1 bed in London cost 350k six years ago now.

Today is poop overall. Granny passed away around midnight and to add to it my temp has dropped further just to really twist that knife in. She got to 82 years old at least peeps so she had a good life ❤️

I thought my internet was down last night but then realised it was just mumsnet. At least they got it back online fairly quickly.

I'm also trying to save for a house deposit. I am looking at 200-250k at best for a 3 bedroom in my area so need to save a little bit more but hopefully not too far off. I had planned to get one last year but with salary cuts and my husbands freelance work being reduced it just wasn't possible. @Juno231 350k for a 1 bed in London 😮

@2020mission my 1 bed in London was bought for £370k 3 years ago. Now on the market for £390k although we reduced it recently as just want it sold so we get a house in the country!

@minster2012 hahaha no ones injecting carbs. Gem has type 1 diabetes and needs to inject insulin with her carbs so that her body can utilise the carbs/glucose for energy. So it's about matching up the insulin dose to the carbohydrates eaten. And my job (actual job) is basically helping people figure out what they need & how to do it because no two people are the same. Especially in my antenatal clinic because hormones are a bitch (as we know too well) and make diabetes more tricky to manage. So I'm happy to help our gorgeous @gem176 in any way I can 🥰

@Juno231 @2020mission yeah Wales house prices are much lower in some places. Cardiff & areas close to Cardiff and are alot higher but in other areas, especially the valleys its alot lower. We bought our house in 2017 and got a 3 bed semi detached with a huge garden for £90,000!!! Bargain. Although once we've done it up we will have probably have spend an extra £50k ish (not including the garden) as it definitely needed alot of love... The liver and white one is called Mac, he's getting a little podgy old man now, and the black and white is Cassius (as in Cassius Clay😂), he's only 4 we rescued him in summer, he was a working dog on a farm near where my OH works and his owner couldn't go on shoots anymore because of health conditions so the game keeper knew my OH had Mac and asked him if we wanted another or else he'd be facing the barrel🥺 needless to say my OH came home that day with Cass and I was one very surprised but happy girl!! He was such a nervous dog, only ever slept in kennels, never had a bed before, only been trained to a whistle, but it only took him 2 weeks to learn voice commands and he's such a belter of a dog, he's amazing! The owners wife sent us his papers and she said if we do anything we have to stud him out because apparently his line is amazing, he's built so well, his muscles, speed and power are crazy!! He still often catches pheasants whilst out at work with my OH, think it's out of habit but he never harms them, I'll screenshot some pics from the video and attach them (I'll attach one of the pheasant running away too, it wasn't hurt)😂 Sorry I've rambled😂 I can literally talk about my pups all day!!

Feeling a tad better today. Had anxiety attack last night from all my mixed up emotions. Soothed with some baby powder was melts in my burner (of all things baby powder?!?!?)
Mood was lifted when my new tights came... thoughts they might help bring the witch out lol.

I can't remember who was making gyros and who was making pancakes with bananas but now I'm hungry, I can't stop eating and sleeping atm. Went for a run with DH earlier, managed 4 miles at a steady pace so really chuffed, but what was funny is it would have been a walk in the park for me at that pace a week ago now I feel like I'm running for the very first time 😂
Midwife should be contacting me next week according to the docs, not really sure what she will say?
