Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

@notyetamumbuttrying I take ibuprofen if needed but when I first stopped the pill for ttc (as a teenager I got horrendous pain) I bought codeine and paracetamol to have to hand in case. Never needed it. But you can buy it from boots or anywhere. The gp can prescribe a much stronger dose but the lower one is available in shops.

@Kirky658 yup staying zen sounds like the best plan! RHR can be affected by anything and everything so isn't the best measurement really. My bestie was obsessed with her's for a while but had to take her watch off because the anxiety was driving her up the wall (she's due to have her first anytime in the next 3 weeks, rainbow baby so there was lots of anxiety there anyway). Try not to worry, if you can

@Juno231 @2020mission I remember there used to be a show called "I didn't know I was pregnant" like years and years ago, me and my mum used to watch it all the time. It was absolutely fascinating!! The amount of women that gave birth in toilets was unreal 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying when she went to a and e with severe “stomach pain” and thought it was her appendix but left the hospital with a baby. My auntie was in hysterics!

Can I pick your dietician brain.... low carb snack ideas. Trying to eat regularly but not wanting to have to constantly be taking insulin. Horrendous bloating so big meals aren't appealing.

@Minster2012 I only send them to my mamma and she's post menopausal so they'd have to be miracle Brazil's to work on her 😂 they are our wee tradition as she loves them. When I was a teen I left my Christmas shopping til Christmas Eve, couldn't get a box so made my own and she loved them so almost 20 years later I make them annually. Eat far too many myself and then can't face them for a year 🙈 Making them this year and I gave dd the chocolate bowl to lick (awful parenting 🙈) she asked if oh wanted some and him thinking he'd be funny and make a joke that would go waaay over her head replied that he only likes chocolate on his nuts.... she made an absolutely disgusted face and asked why on Earth he'd put chocolate on his dangly bits 🤣 I nearly cried laughing! He had to very quickly back track and be like you are right that is disgusting I meant Brazil nuts! His face was a picture!!

@2020mission my cousin is another, she has an almost 12 year old and knew nothing about him until she went to a small local hospital with bad stomach pain! I had lunch with her about a week or so before and she didn't even look pregnant! I just don't know how you would miss the kicks or the foot in the ribs!!

So girls, the house, we absolutely love it, I want it!! We're getting a mortgage in principal then going to put an offer in!!

I know it would be such a shock but not even knowing you are pregnant just sounds like the dream vs 9 months of torture that is my experience 🙈 I have often heard people say if they didn't know (ie bfp) they wouldn't have known as had no symptoms until like half way through. It really is so different from woman to woman!
@2020mission even what you say about such peace in our grannies' day , I feel like that was me with my first 😂 totally naive. Did one test, bfp, didn't question it after that. No retest or tracking anything. I think when we know so much and share so much in these groups we are then all very awareof all the different things that can happen and worry more. It's the flip side of the support system isn't it.

@Katao couldn't agree with you more re worry this time round! Last time total naivety! BFP then just equated to in 9 months I'll have a baby. This time round I can't get excited, just filled with anxiety. Haven't even told oh as it's still soo early and now I know what can and does happen so often and to so many, don't want to get him excited (he's completely naive about pregnancy) for something to go wrong.

@Gem176 aw I hope you can get excited soon and start feeling it's real. I'm determined that if ever do get pregnant I'm not going to be anxious about it. not going to stress about lines or book extra scans. I'm going to assume all good unless proven otherwise. (I in no way mean to offend anyone. I know it's different for everyone especially if you have a history of loss. That's just how I want to do things. If it ever flippin happens!🥰)

Wow I have missed so much haven’t had chance for a proper catch up. What have I missed?? Being pregnant, moving house and trying to suss remote learning for primary school kids has blew my mind so no idea where I am now. @Gem176 congratulations on your bfp. Brilliant news.

@paintfairy I own far too many pairs of PJs to the point my OH makes me throw a pair away when I buy a pair new... but currently im sporting these super snuggly sort of lounge pants ones with a matching teddy material vest top and dressing gown (though I take them off at night as they're too bloody hot 😂) just in case you wanted to know 😂

I'm totally with you @Katao on wishing I was oblivious to my pregnancy till I had a baby in the toilet. I remember saying during my last pregnancy that I was 100% keeping him an only child because I was never ever going thru pregnancy again ......and yet here I am desperately keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean 🙈

Just found out one of my pupils parents died of covid, so heartbreaking 😢

@DKDK123 see it's true that once you actually have them you know it IS worth it so you lose resolve 😂 plus your brain fogs a lot of it out!

Ugh, we're doing an online thing with the couple who told us they were pregnant last week that made me cry. I feel like it's going to be so awkward 😭 I just want to be honest with them but dh thinks it'll put a downer on their announcement. Thoughts?

Also, I'm really anxious that I'm going I have another anovulatory cycle this month :( not having a great day. Need to be perked up! Going to get a burger from my fave place, that should help...
