It’s a New Year TTC bitches and of course it’s time for a new bus...

2020 was a bit of a TWATFACE for us
2021...is surely EXACTLY the number of babies we are owed by now.

Thank god for adorable pets eh? This is my moo moo (OH gave her that nickname) she's keeping me cosy atm coz I'm suffering

Need your advice ladies...
Af due in about 4/5 days . Do any of you suffer with bowel/stomach troubles in the days running up to her unwanted arrival? Been really bad with it today and it's not the norm. Plus keep feeling super hot and tired . Eaten pretty much the same foods as I always do so I can't blame that (unless my bodies decided to randomly become intolerant to something) any input is appreciated ty xx

@lucyrp I think our brains have a way of protecting us from these things! I hope its a turning point for you 🥰

@Dollybird89 cute pooch! Yeah I do but I have ibs so it just gets worse as AF approaches. Peppermint tea is good for calming the stomach and helps with bloating too x

@Dollybird89 with my first I had really bad stomach had to phone in to work sick then 3 days later got a BFP.

Parking my tired butt on a seat. Shall catch up properly later but after being up all night making sure DS doesn't have concussion (luckily he didnt) I'm needing matchsticks to prop open my eyes today. 😴 DS on the other hand is running about like a tornado perfectly fine, and straight back into jumping off of things ......Boys they never learn! 🤦‍♀️

Glad he is on the mend horrible when they hurt themselves. Xx

Managed 13k steps today and have stuck to my calories so I'm a happy camper :) Have given myself the preliminary goal of losing 7kg by 17th of April!

@lucyrp sorry to hear you're feeling rough 😔I was exactly the same as you but it seemed to ease off loads around week 15 and now I only get it occasionally. Although there are some foods I still can't go near 🤢 x

@Vil10 im really good thanks lovely, feeling so much better these days! Although I have had a few hospital trips over the Christmas period 🙄 but thankfully all fine. How are you? Did you have a nice Christmas and New Year? Your day today sounds lovely! We've had lots of snow here 😍 x

On the announcement topic, a guy I work withs wife announced she was pregnant just before Xmas and included in the caption how many miscarriages and rounds of IVF it had taken to get there. I thought she was so brave to put that out there, but she also said she wanted other people going through the same to see that it can happen 🥰

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend! I took our dog on a long walk today! Was nice to get some fresh air and re evaluate things and I have promised myself I won't get worked up or stressed out about ttc, that our time will come, and every bfn cycle is bringing us closer to our bfp 🥰 xx

@lucyrp ice lollies were my savour last time. Ones with a bit of sugar in to keep the calories in.

Christmas decs are down here too.

Lots of knitting here today and told DH about the BFP. He said "are you joking? It's real? Oh ok then"
He is now more enthusiastic but not the best response.

@Dollybird89 love the dog!! I just adore dogs! And funnily enough our nickname for ours is also Moo moo! Her name is Minnie!
So jealous of all the snow...nothing here at all so far and would love to take the dog out for a walk in it! 🌨️

@Dollybird89 yup, I definitely get bowel issues in the run up! I have IBS though like @notyetamumbuttrying so it's pretty standard for me. I didn't always, it literally just kicked in one day and that was that. I also get super hot in the couple of days run-up and it is nooooot fun. I second the recommendation for peppermint tea and hot water bottles are the greatest invention ever. Stress, anxiety can all send it haywire for me so it's not always a good intolerance that sets it off. Eating little and often can help too.

@Minster2012 @blackcurrantqueen @HollieL567 we had like 0.5cm of snow settle and it was AMAZING! Having gone for a walk in it yet though, just went to and from the bins in my flip-flops 😂 hoping we get more! (Doubt it though, lucky to get this lot)

Can I join please? First cycle and AF due 10th Jan. Who knows how long this will take so glad to have some company. All the best to everyone

Re announcements, I didn't do a social media announcement on my personal one, just told family and friends that I wanted to know. I have a blogging account and did put a photo of a Xmas decoration with 'mummy to be' on there because I wanted to be able to share some pregnancy content too

I'm so uncomfortable tonight and I can't figure out why or where its coming from. A mixture of back pain and an empty stomach 😩
