2020 was a bit of a TWATFACE for us
2021...is surely EXACTLY the number of babies we are owed by now.

Can't quite believe I'm typing this ....
Clinic just called back and my hcg has gone from 26 to 91!!!!!
feeling pretty nauseous but not been sick yet today
Scan booked in for 18th at 9.45am
Whilst I am not going to be too hopeful, I am cautiously optimistic
The bleeding has all stopped now and the pain is settling. Could this really be it? 😭🤞🏼

My dog is a tiny little thing, used to be awful with children but since having our little girl he is like a changed beast, would still never leave them alone together but it does make my heart hurt when they're being cute together 💕

@Katao that is such a weird issue 😂 I mean, one, if she thought something had given her and her kids food poisoning why would she not bin it, and two, why would he feel the need to immediately go eat it?!?! 😂

I think I might be out, woke up in the night feeling burning hot, which I get a lot before AF turns up. Will still test next week if nothing happens but I suspect I won't get the result I want.

@InkyPaper isn't it 😂 although I kind of sympathise with her on the "throw it out" pile on because tbf if I ate something and it made me feel unwell I probably wouldn't even want to look at it again so can see why she might have just ignored it to deal with it later. Also ifa grown man cant resist eating food he has been told is off then it's hardly her fault for not getting in their before him to throw it out 😂 manchild

Ladies I have been trying in recent months to take a very casual approach to TTC but with it being over a year into this now I am wondering if it's worth trying measuring BBT? I only ever used OPKs in the past and always got consistent strong peaks at around CD13-14 so assumed I was fine but maybe I'm totally getting it wrong or just not ovulating most months? I didn't want to become obsessed and having to measure every morning but thinking it couldn't hurt and at least would give me more to tell the GP whenever I can bring myself to contact them.

I don't feel confident calling them yet as we're still in a really bad pandemic and I feel like I'd be being selfish and should just keep trying for a few months until things calm down and since I've had a BFP before with the chemical.

@2020mission I don't think it would be selfish at all. State your case and see what they advise/offer. Things are slow to prgress anyway so no harm to get the ball rolling. It's coming up on 6 months since I originally made contact with my gp and still nothing much has happened withall the delays etc.at least you will be in the system. I can't advise on bbt.

@Minster2012 I hear you on the carbs. I'm trying not to be so carb centric but the struggle is real!

Right so my app has changed ovulation day to today based on my opks so looks like I have got o-5, o-1 and will go for o and o+1 so notsobadafter all but still annoyed at the gap in the middle!

@2020mission I would definitely try bbt as that's the only way I could confirm ovulation was actually happening for me. Ovulation tests didn't work at all. And I'd definitely contact the doctors. The actual gps aren't over run with patients in fact they probably have more time now than ever

Thanks @lucyrp there's no harm I guess, I'll order one today and try next cycle. I suggested to my husband maybe I should call the GP as they might not be that busy right now but he snapped and said "yes they will, GPs are busy vaccinating!" So I'm not feeling happy about calling again. I have a feeling he's snapping because he knows he would be asked to do a SA? I really just want to check myself at this point as it could be a thyroid or hormone problem on my side that could be easily fixed?

@2020mission it takes a few days to get into it but once you're used to it it's easy! I went to the doctors the other day for some anti sickness and they have minimal patients in the surgery at the moment and quite a few appointments available. They wouldn't ask him to do an SA if it's just you going about yourself. They'll do the blood tests that they normally do on day 3 or day 21 and do some investigations for you first they can refer you to a fertility clinic on your own or with your husband so it doesn't matter

@minster2012 did one of the stupid cheap eBay ones this morning as if spent half the night feeling nauseous and didn't sleep till 4 am... bpn as usual...but hey I'm only CD 33 ish lol that's nothing compared to the 112 days last time??? Long wait again it looks like god damit
