@Tara1711, what do you enjoy doing?

For me, I love playing games whether it's board games, on the PC or on my tablet. It's an escape for me & weirdly enough, in one of my games one of my characters is pregnant. So I keep receiving notifications in the game about it 🙄.

I've been hooked onto a few TV shows & some of them I watch with DH.

I've been listening to music & a few podcasts.

When I have time, I might resume reading again however I really need to be in the mood for it.

I enjoy going for walks with my DH too.

All of that is an escape for me & calms my mind from over thinking about TTC. It's exhausting when it's a struggle so there is no point stressing about something that is out my control.

I work FT so I'm flat out busy hence why I enjoy my escapes even more 😁.

Tara1711 · 12/01/2021 12:30

@SadieSazzle yeah I think if I'm out this month I will contact the doctor and try and get the ball rolling!

My work is on the phones so I have to be sat at my desk with my headset on waiting for a call to come through so I can't even distract myself with doing stuff around the house!

I am in view on the tv so I am watching criminal minds but there's only so much of that I can watch in a day!

@FluffyLittleDragon cleaning is definitely my therapy! Just annoying I can't do it while I'm working!

FluffyLittleDragon · 12/01/2021 12:56

@Tara1711, do you like playing games on your tablet, reading or colouring? Perhaps something easy that you can put down when you take a call.

gracie2307 · 12/01/2021 13:05

Hey ladies hope you are all well! Im 9dpo today, feeling very emotional and have cramps. Not unusual tbh so I cant count this as signs. AF due on Saturday but I feel like AF is on her way 😩 just like a horrible gut feeling.... Trying not to be pessimistic but its so hard. This is my 7th cycle now. Hope you are all ok? Sending lots of baby dust and wishes. Hope all the Dec bus ladies @BubsNumber2inTheMaking, @MgW1, @SunnydazeQ, @Dogmum13 are all good xxxx

SophieMorton · 12/01/2021 13:47

@Tara1711 my work is quiet too...been organising my hair grips today which actually took much longer than I thought!

I tested this morning but BFN. 10dpo and AF due in 5 days. 100% have felt all month that’s it’s not my month 🙄

FluffyLittleDragon · 12/01/2021 14:00

@SophieMorton....thanks for the reminder I need something similar too (maybe on the weekend). I've had a unusual AF....the day after BD, I thought AF was arriving & well she didn't arrive how I expected 🤔🤨😐🤯😠🤷🏽‍♀️😬. On the first day, I had horrendous cramps in the early hours of the morning & into the night. All day I was randomly on & off like a tap. The second day, cramps eased compared to the day before, again on & off. Yesterday & today.....barely anything & no pain. This why I've kept my Drs app because something doesn't feel "normal" & I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Dogmum13 · 12/01/2021 14:06

Does anyone recommend these?

Happy New TTC Bus - Jan 2021 - it's going to be a corker!
Dogmum13 · 12/01/2021 14:07

@gracie2307 I'm grand just waiting to get testing done at the gp. How are you?

gracie2307 · 12/01/2021 14:12

Hey @Dogmum13! Lovely to hear from you. So glad you have your tests booked. When is your day 21 test booked? I am ok thanks bit deflated but trying to keep positive. And yes I definitely recommended the CB digital opk tests they are good clear to read. Xx

ZiggyStardustt · 12/01/2021 14:14

Hey @Dogmum13 yeah I've been using them since Oct and I always get a few high days (some months I get more high days than others) and a peak day. I'm still not pregnant though so 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I do fine them a very clear. You thinking of giving them a go?

Dogmum13 · 12/01/2021 14:31

@gracie2307 lovely to hear from you too 🙂 its actually going to be a day 19 test as I tend to ovulate early but it will be on 29th January. Thanks, been using the easy@home opk which I get peaks easily on but wondered if it's worth getting a pack of the clear blue ones to try too. I get ovulation pains so I just test when I get the pains and ewcm and I get the peak

@ZiggyStardustt yeah I usually use the easy@home ones and get pains so I know when I'm ovulating but just thought I might try those for one month to see what they say 🙂

Tabbycat92 · 12/01/2021 14:31

Hello all! Hoping I'm OK to join 😊 I'm on month 7 of ttc baby no.2
I have a 2.5yo DS, I'm married, and will be 29 next week 😊
Tracking with opk's and bbt. I'm in fertile week this week, so fingers crossed.

Babydust to you all 😘

Rmd123 · 12/01/2021 14:39

@Dogmum13 I have them! They're brill, I actually got the advanced with Bluetooth so it stores the days on a calendar in your phone. I'd defo recommend that one think boots have it on offer x

Dogmum13 · 12/01/2021 14:46

@Rmd123 thank you 😊 is the Bluetooth capability the only difference?

Rmd123 · 12/01/2021 14:53

@Dogmum13 yep only difference!!

MgW1 · 12/01/2021 15:05

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
@MamaPheebz
@gracie2307
I got a v.v.faint squinter on the frer but im 12dpo so I dont think its anything probably an evap line. Full force ahead for feb , well il actually ovulate end of jan if af pitches up on Thursday , fingers crossed we wont be far behind you mamapheebz!
Are you going to do a test Gracie? Xx

Dogmum13 · 12/01/2021 15:09

@Rmd123 thanks will do a bit more research into both 🙂

MamaPheebz · 12/01/2021 19:23

@MgW1 so strange that you have evaps on both. I’ve never had evaps on a FRER before. I guess all you can do is test again in a couple of days. Xx

Tara1711 · 12/01/2021 21:21

Had a really relaxed afternoon, I played on the switch which is my little escape from reality and I'm feeling much better for it.

Have noticed that some of the symptoms I was feeling have gone now, cramping isn't happening anymore and my boobs are a lot less tender than they were.

No more nausea today just lack of appetite but nipples are still very sore.

Definitely going to relax for the rest of the week and see what the weekend brings. AF is either due on Sunday or Monday

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 13/01/2021 06:02

@MgW1 keeping fingers crossed for you for a bolder line today/tomorrow when you test next!

Thank you @Sar1010 @ZiggyStardustt for your responses xx

@gracie2307 thanks for asking. I'm ok(ish). Have hit a post shaggathon wall today tbh. We've dtd 7times in 11days which is quite a lot for us, and I don't even think I ended up ovulating 😩 I know I shouldn't feel that way but it just seems like a waste of time (even though mostly enjoyable!). I had an early mc/cp at 5weeks and read lots of stuff about high fertility afterwards but I think my body's screwed this month...and now next month trying seems SOOO far away with very little hope for the tww now...so I'm fed up ☹️ I so wish there was a way of knowing for absolute certainty about ovulation. ANYway, enough moaning from me now, how are you doing?xx

OP posts:
gracie2307 · 13/01/2021 07:44

Hey @MgW1 how are you? Ooh thats good news you have a faint line!! Will you test tomorrow? I took a FRER yesterday but only 1 line. Im 10dpo today. Just feeling a bit hopeless today. Trying to distract myself with work etc. Xx

gracie2307 · 13/01/2021 07:59

Hey @BubsNumber2inTheMaking thanks for your reply! Bless you, I know what you mean when you hit that wall, its horrible isn't it? Im so sorry you are feeling that way. Especially when you have had your MC. Im struggling to know how to properly confirm ovulation too. I find temping really difficult as I wake up multiple times in the night and end up with jagged peaks. I still use the CB digital OPKs and monitor my CM. I've been looking into whether its worth getting an Ava bracelet or trying the Mira solution but they are so expensive I dont know if they are any good? My husband has also ordered a Swimcount test to check his sperm quality at home. I might also order the progesterone test for myself online and its been 7 months and nothing. Xx

33Carr · 13/01/2021 08:16

@gracie2307 Can you let us know how you and hubby get on with the swimcount test for sperm, partner is thinking of doing the same!

MgW1 · 13/01/2021 08:20

@gracie2307
Yes i think i am out , done a cheapy and it could not be more negative!!! I didnt think it was my month , been under the weather and have low iron levels, been on iron tablets now for 3 weeks and feel tons better , no lethargy or breathlessness and i think if my iron levels were low due to 2 mc's i probably have been inadequate with other vitamins and minerals. I now take them with dissolverable vit c , its apparently the way to take them xx

MgW1 · 13/01/2021 08:22

@gracie2307
Good luck when you do test , its hard to distract during a lockdown xxx
