Third baby anyone?

TTC third child. Decision thats taken a while to get my head around. Anyone trying for third? Was it wasy decision for you?

TTC third here too..I'm also 37..I always felt there is a room for one more in our house and 3rd baby will complete our family..I have two boys, older one is nearly 5, little one is nearly 2. Tracing ovulation for the past few months but this month we are a bit more serious about it.

This time has been a bit different as I had and still sometimes have nausea, had to be put on medication. I didn't have any symptoms with my two just my bump and pelvic pain around 33 weeks. Now I had pelvic pain from 9 weeks and have been seeing an osteopath for almost two months until my physio appt next week.
Trying to enjoy the pregnancy as I know this is the last one. We're close enough in age as I'm 34 and will be 35 in June.

@rosegold33 your kids are still quite young so you've got a bit of time to sort out finances etc. These days most people are having their first around 33/36 so you're still very young at 37. I'm close enough age wise at 34 😁

I'm in a similar boat. I've said for ages I want another one but dh has been firmly against it. Then out of the blue he said he'd came around to the idea and all of a sudden my brain is going haywire. And he can't understand why because I've been going on for years that 'my family isn't complete' but now I'm not so sure!

I really really want another one in my heart. But logically I worry whether I could still give my other two the attention that they need. Also I'm ashamed I think this but my last kid really aged me and I never lost the weight, so I'm a tiny bit worried I'd be condemning myself to look even worse again 😳. I have not mentioned this to dh or anyone in real life because I know it's very shallow and should be the least of my concerns when thinking about ttc.

I’m currently 5 months into ttc DC3. We’d always talked about having 3, and I definitely feel like our family isn’t complete, even though my 4 and 2 yo feel like more than enough some days! I’ll be 40 in a couple of months and got long covid in March and feeling the stress of ttc a bit after having conceived quickly before. I’ll be gutted if DC3 doesn’t work out, but it’s definitely a bonus baby and some days I do think maybe it would be better to stop and focus on the two we have. Not today tho, I just finished my period and have my OPKs at the ready!

I think your age is perfect I think we have left it a bit too late but going in it with a relaxed attitude, if it happens we will be over the moon, if not we have two lovely boys, it will not be the end of the world, took us a while to conceive both so I don't think it will be different this time..

Ttc our third mind are 15 & 4. I’m almost 41 had 3 cp and doesn’t seem to be happening a quick as last two x

@Aozora13 thats one of main reasons my dh was unsure about trying for third. He says he wanted to give as much attenton to the other 2.
Im 1 of 4 and always felt like my parents gave us so much one to one attention.

I have an almost 6 year old and a 2 year old. I know I want another baby, my dh isn’t convinced but we are trying / not preventing. However also a nurse and would ideally prefer to have the covid vaccine before pregnancy. Which would put off ttc by 3 months which is nothing really but I’m eager to start! I’m 33 on my next birthday.

@cinderellashoes ah so am i rightguidance is no vaccine for 3months before hoping to fall pregnant and while youre pregnant?

I know what you mean would be peace of mind getting vaccine.

The pfizer vaccine is to try ans avoid pregnancy for 3 months after the second dose. The astrazeneca vaccine guidance is that you don’t need to avoid pregnancy. Both say pregnancy SHOULD be fine but there’s no evidence really! I feel really put out by the whole covid thing. My trust are going to start soon though so I’m not sure whether to just wait. So pissed off haha and don’t want dh to change his mind!!

I’m currently 25 weeks with #3. I’m 32 and my other children are 9 and 7. My husband and I got married quite young and started a family straight away. We always knew we wanted a 3rd but waited until we felt ready money and career wise. It’s just so happened to fall in the middle of a pandemic! 😂 we talked about it a lot over the years and we finally felt ready in June so decided to go for it. We fell pregnant on cycle 2. I’d say go for it. My first born was a nightmare so we decided to leave a big gap between first and second, then I fell pregnant with my son on my daughters first birthday! Definitely unplanned haha! My second born was a dream - easiest baby going. Fingers crossed we get that again! 😂

Also trying for baby number 3! My girls are 9 and 6, always said I wanted 3 and when my youngest came along I said for years I was done (she's hard work) but for the past 2 year I couldn't stop thinking about a 3rd. Spoke to my partner and he agreed so currently on cycle number 3 for our last little one!! I just constantly feel like something is missing from our family. So excited to be on this journey again but as I know this is definitely our final baby I'm going to try and enjoy everything as much as possible 🙂

Well we didn't technically try for baby number 3. I have a DD who's 4 and we wanted baby number 2 but I found out at my 6 week pregnancy scan on Wednesday that I'm having twins!! 😱 so we're going from having one child to three 😂

Wow @Tamalama congratulations!!! Did you have any inklings?!?! I bet it took a while to get your head around, so exciting though!

@onedream fingers crossed for you. I am due in late May as an elective section so baby will be born latest end May.
