We are both pregnant.. dodgy tests!!

Me and DP have both had a positive test 🙈 I had a bleed over the weekend which was bang on when af was due. It was a lot lighter than normal so tested Monday and was very very faint. Tested yesterday and was a bit darker but still faint and then tested this morning and this evening. This evenings is very dark but definitely false as made DP dip one in his urine and this is his result. Mines the top his the bottom. Don't use these tests!!!

If you have had several positives then sounds like a positive result

Well, you are pregnant, his is negative... there might be a squinter but yours is definitely positive... I reckon if you buy a brand one you’ll find you are pregnant.

A man getting a positive can can be a sign of testicular cancer, just so you know.

The second one is barely noticeable, you should do a FRER to be sure

His looks negative in the photo. But if you can see a line in real life, he should see his GP. Some testicular problems can produce the same hormone which pregnancy tests are looking for, called beta HCG, and if he genuinely is producing this he needs to get checked out.

There was a line in real life. I've thrown the tests away now as I was obsessing. Mine came up straight away. His room a few minutes. But was visible. I don't think I am pregnant. The line on my test is very dark and came up very quickly but it's thinner. I did have a bleed. My boobs are not as sore as they were yesterday. I wish this was a real positive result but unfortunately I don't feel as if it is x

If your DHs appeared positive he needs to see his GP

Did he use the same pot that you were dipping in? If so it will still be picking up your HCG.

I think yours is glaringly positive. His one is most likely to be an evap.

Prostate cancer also produces positive test results- agree with the others that your husband really needs to get to the doctor

The bottom one looks an indent or evap but yours is defo a positive.

Dont want to get your hopes up too much in case it's a chemical but imistce taken hundreds and the only time there was a positive line that was when I was pregnant (four times!)

I can still see a line, although you are right, it’s much fainter.

I would test again with FMU in a couple of days. Maybe you had a chemical pregnancy or there is a possibility you are pregnant and it’s just early days. I don’t think the tests are faulty though.

Tested again and it's like this.. what do I do now?? GP?? Ask what's going on maybe get bloods?

To me that looks positive. I’d take your folic acid if you aren’t already and test again in a few days. Not sure what the GP would do unless you were in pain and they were worried the pregnancy was ectopic. Fingers crossed for you that it’s a sticky one.

Op with all respect, stop pissing on sticks and convince your dp to seek help.
As others have said, it could be serious and needs checking asap.

Yes we will be taking the right actions. With it being Xmas and all that and the weekend for that matter no GP is open. Thanks for your concerns!!!! Christ. Come on here for some positive feedback and get this.

All I thought is that the tests must be dud but obviously will take on board your words once the GPs open again.

@mich20208 I think you need to take a decent test like a frer. First thing in the morning and that will give a clearer result. You can get them on Amazon prime. 2 for £10. You take yours first and if you so wish DH do the other. If his is positive you deffo need him seen!
