Happy New Year everyone. My spotting yesterday turned into full AF today, first one post pill, so I'm pleased my body is hopefully doing something.

Is anybody planning a NY health kick at all? I'm going to try dry January and also get myself exercising more. My lack of exercise since WFH is awful, we have a 5month old puppy so I have no excuse for not doing many steps or the occasional online workout.

Yes, my health kick starts here. I want to loose about half a stone by summer and generally get fitter. I want to be able to run 5k by march. Of course I want to get pregnant 😆 and I want to have a super healthy pregnancy... so it starts here.

Although... I have already been looking up 'healthy' banana loaf cake recipes 😋 🤣🙈

@AMS19 you sound like your doing all the right things.

FFS another COVID test today! I’ve been in contact with someone who tested positive! So hoping for another BFN!

@abi555 @MissC07 congrats on AF turning up, must be nice to know what your cycles are returning to normal post pill!!

Not a lot going on here - cd98 for me, still no AF. OPKs are getting a bit stronger day by day and cervix is high with EWCM so hopefully that ovulation may happen soon! I had some good news yesterday, spoke to the docs and they’ve agreed to do some tests, they’re checking hormones, thyroid and also doing a scan. Really pleased as thought they may fob me off!

I just did something really stupid, I got my test out of the bin from this morning and there is an 100% a faint line there...I mean it is obv an evap line why do I do these things 😂😂

@Mol234 good news on your tests, sounds like your doctor is proactive!

@ChinChilly I haven’t used many pg tests yet, do you tend to get an evap line on them?? Defo worth testing again first thing in the morning just in case!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Mol234 I think EVAP lines are pretty common on them, I’ve never had a EVAP line before but this test is hours old so its more likely to be an EVAP than a positive I think

@ChinChilly omg please retest! Evaps are grey/without colour and I bet you that's not what you got?

@Kay00 I've started dry Jan today and started the health kick too! I've ended the day on 1400 cals and done my 10k steps - the dream would be to lose nearly 2 stone this year but it sort of conflicts with wanting to get pregnant lol!

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me jumping on here.
I finished with Cerelle on Dec 7th and have been reading many threads on here since, so far no AF or withdrawal bleed. I'm aware it's possible to before first AF so me and my partner have been pretty active... are there any signs of ovulation/cycle returning that I can look out for?

@glow92 I would suggest whilst waiting for AF go show do OPKs to see if you are ovulating xx

@Moocher90 hi there! I do have some and have been using them every few days-ish with none showing anything so far - if I saw anything faint I would have tested more consistently everyday to track... I'm a bit new and naive to it all tbh! X

@glow92 yes defo if you start getting any sort of line then just test more often as some people can peak quite quickly.

Also do u use an app to log anything?! A lot of us use fertility friend and premom. You can scan your OPKs in premom and it gives you a %

Have you thought about whether you will temp bbt or not?! Are you monitoring any of your other signs/symptoms, cervical mucus or how high low hard soft your cervix is?!

@Moocher90 I have Ovia currently but I don't feel there's much it can do before first AF.

I may look into temping and a better app to record everything, thank you for your recommendations. No mucus or anything like that.

Just a little about me, I'm 28 and was on Cerelle for 8 years without a period - I'm not expecting miracles overnight but anything I can do to aid the journey I'm keen to get onboard with!

@glow92 welcome!! Other signs you can look out for that indicate ovulation might be happening are your cervical fluid or the position of your cervix. When your cervical fluid/mucus (CM) is wet or stretchy like egg white then you could be fertile. If your cervix is high, soft and open then you could also be fertile (this second one takes a bit of practice and not everyone is comfortable fishing around up your foof to feel the position of your cervix, but its one hell of a learning curve if you do)!

@chinchilly 🤩 I have never had an evap... does it have a hint of colour?? Will you retest in the morning?

@juno231 haha, hopefully we'll get pregnant and put on loads of pregnancy weight 😅 but I always hoped I would be pretty healthy in pregnancy and eating well and walking lots now should help 😇 i don't want to be like my friend who became addicted to Greggs pasties during pregnancy... she put on about 3 stone and had a 1 stone baby 😳🤣

Ahh well Happy New Year to us! Reset for TTC C9. We've decided if it doesn't happen this cycle then going to speak with GP to get tests started as we've went over the TTC for 6mo + geriatric criteria. My cycles seem to be sitting at 24/25 day timings with peak OPK happening CD16. Baby dust to all. ✨

@Juno231 @Kay00 @MissC07 I’m struggling to pic it up on a pic, but I’ve attached 2 it’s so faint I can’t even tell if it has colour or not 🤔 I’ll retest in the morning but for now I’m taking it as an EVAP.

Looking at for the 1000000 time I think its more grey than pink 🤔

@ChinChilly definitely retest in the morning, my eyes are seeing a tinge of colour at the top but it's so hard to tell (also given I'm no expert as I've only ever had the faintest line on an OPK 😂) Fingers crossed for the morning!!!

@glow92 Welcome! I'm now on my first AF since coming off the combined pill after 12 years! I was just using the Flo app to log my symptoms etc until AF arrived. I then bought some OPK's online and now a thermometer too so I can hopefully see what's happening with my cycles on Premom and FF! Good luck with your journey!

@ChinChilly omg why on earth would you have two evaps when you've had none before 😁. Please do a FRER in the morning, I reckon that's your BFP ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@MissC07 @Juno231 I don’t want to get my hopes up I’ve only got these tests and a fake FRER from amazon, but I’ve read they are made in the same factory as FRER so I’ll test first thing
