I’ve had a peak ovulation reading this morning! My very first since stopping the pill in august so time for lots of BD and hopefully I can start regular cycles or BFP 😊

Hey everyone - was on the previous thread but was just waiting for AF to arrive (currently CD 93) - @Robyn101 this is the weirdest thing but I think I had my peak today too! Pic attached. Congrats btw, it was very nice to get that this morning, sure you felt similar.

I’ve just taken another test though and it’s back down to a low reading - is this normal? Worrying that this mornings test was a dud (I guess I’ll see what my temp is saying over the next few days).

Have BD this morning so depending on what my temp is saying this could be my first TWW.

@Mol234 yup some peaks are only a few hours long so hopefully this is it for you! Fingers crossed your temps play ball as well.

That is one hell of a peak @Mol234 😮 my peaks only used to last a few hours but the last 2 cycles they’ve lingered for a few days I think I prefer them short to be honest!

Premom has me at 4dpo at the mo so not alot going on for me! Hope everybody had a lovely Christmas 🎄

Oh yay @Mol234 that’s such good news - how weird our body’s seem totally in sync 😅 we BD yesterday anyway and again today so fingers crossed - actually looking forward to my first TWW

@mol234 @robyn101 how funny you both had your peak on the same day!! Hopefully you are both now in your first TWW! How exciting!

Im CD12, just waiting on ovulation... no signs yet. DTD every other day just in case (even though I felt like a roast potato when I woke up this morning 😆)

I seem to have a bit of brown spotting today - not sure if this is AF or just post MMC nonsense. If its AF this cycle was definitely annovulatory!

Hello everyone I hope you all had a lovely Xmas and Boxing Day.

My OPKs have turned stark white and my temp is at an all time low 36.05 this morning. I really do hope that I will ovulate soon. I’ve attached my graph too

@Moocher90 ah that sucks. What did the opk look like yesterday? Maybe the dip today is ovulation?

I have a super painful cyst on foof since yesterday now - I think it's infected as it's really swollen and sore. Hoping it'll sort itself out before FW as I don't particularly fancy going to the doctors with it or being prescribed antibiotics 🙊

@Juno231 for the last two days my OPKs are barely readable :( so don’t think ovulation has happened yet unless it peaked so quickly that I missed it. Will continue to to do OPKs just in case though. This is the lowest temp I have had. Also the last 2 days my RHR is 69 which is the highest it’s been since CD1

Sorry to hear you have cyst it sounds sore :( hopefully it rectifies itself before FW x

@Moocher90 morning ☺️ Thanks for asking. It went really well. We sent cards with the news but asked our parents/siblings to wait until we could skype on the day to open them, everyone was really thrilled, some really surprised whereas others had an idea of what the card could be. Is really nice to have told them, especially as my SIL is a few months ahead so am now included in all the pregnancy chat ☺️

@MintGreenLife that’s lovely :) so nice to be able to announce something so positive in these uncertain times especially at Xmas as it’s more special for most xx

@MintGreenLife how did the announcement go on Skype?? Bet everyone was thrilled . Not long until your scan (though if it is anything like TTC, bet it feels forever away haha!). Only 6dpo so too early to test yet :)

@Kay00 technically I'm 3 days late as my previous 2 cycles were 24 days. This cycle I ovulated on CD21 so I'm actually only 6dpo. My cycles pre-pill were 33 days long so it seems like my body might be settling down 🤞 any signs yet for you?

@Robyn101 @Mol234 congratulations on your peaks! Hope you managed to get some BD in

I'm currently 6dpo and my temps had been quite consistent the last few days but it has dropped this morning by 0.2 down to 36.2 degrees, is this quite normal or am I worrying too much over one reading? Its just my temp was 36.2 on CD1 of this cycle.

You are both giving me hope that I might join the peak crowd soon. Had some achy side boobs for the last few days and was really hoping it was AF about to turn up for first time, but it's gone away today so I now think it might just have been a badly fitting bra Very excited for you both though as you've both been waiting a long time too - what CD is this for you Robyn?

@Moocher90 I hadn’t really contemplated how much the news would lift everyone’s spirits, but it really seemed to, especially with us all being separate for Christmas. How are you getting on?

@KGH5121 it was great ☺️ It kind of took over the whole day, which was a good thing really as was just me, OH and the dog so not a lot going on other than our Skype calls 😂 we’re hoping to be moving house early Jan, so I think with that potentially going on the scan will feel like it’s come round a bit quicker. Feels like ages away at the mo though. Your LH surge looks great on your chat! I used Premom for OPKs too ☺️

@MintGreenLife so my breasts are sore and my temp is the lowest it’s been 36.05 however the opk is 0.14 today technically CD14 but can’t gauge when/if I will ovulate as not had any proper cycles post pill which started end of august. The last 2 days the OPKs also been negligible or stark white. I will continue to test and also BD every other day in the mean time. See what tomorrow’s temperature brings also. My RHR is 70 today and I believe RHR rises for ovulation.

@moocher90 hmm... I think its possible you could ovulate in next day or so, are you testing a couple of times a day?

@thedaydreambelievers did your spotting develop into an AF today? Hopefully its just some random spotting and you'll ovulate soon xx

@kgh5121 a temp dip at 6DPO is quite normal and is usually caused by a secondary estrogen surge. Interestingly it is slightly more likely to happen in a cycle with a pregnancy outcome so 🤞🤞 this is your implantation!

@juno231 oh dear... that sounds painful! Will it put you of BD during your fertile week? I share your fears of antibiotics as I have toothache (its been building for a couple of months but has got quite bad in the past week) with a possible abscess 😩 whats worse is i don't have a dentist right now... and its Christmas!! 😆

In other news... my thermostat has given up its ghost 👻 so I don't have heating until the replacement arrives on Wednesday 🥶

@Kay00 yes testing 3/4 times a day. Today’s wees I haven’t been able to get much of a hold but am hopefully going to hold now until around 10pm and do another test.
Back to work on Tuesday and from then on won’t be able to test as often
