@nellieee probably is. I am pretty sure I have ovulated every other month so far since coming off the pill, so my body will have another attempt soon.

@juno231... so when are you testing???

@Nellieee my OH was the same about vitamins to start with- I ended up just buying them for him and for a week having to remind him to take them. Now he just does it on his own!

Still nothing to report and officially 1 week late for AF. Counting down to re-testing on the weekend!

@Nellieee ha mine took supplements when I bought them AND handed them over to him to take. If I just reminded him to take them, he'd inevitably grab the female ones by mistake - even though the pregnacare ones are pink for women and brown for men... When I figured f* this he can do it himself he's obviously not taken a single one since!

Also does your OH get that folic acid is to prevent spina bifida and isn't a magic bean we're dumb enough to take lol!

@kay00 I actually caved in and did a cheapie half an hour ago lol. Very much a BFN! I know I could still get one and random afternoon wee isn't great for an HPT but I just don't think it will happen this cycle either!

@Sperr have you still not testing again?! Omg you are so restrained!! Good luck for the weekend test!!!

@Juno231 ha! Sometimes it feels like he thinks I pop them like sweets. I have informed him of the health reasons, not that he'd remember!! In one ear out the other. If it was to do with sports, he'd know it like the back of his hand!

@Nellieee @Juno231 I just figure the longer I leave it the longer the hormones have to brew 😂. I’m so glad I’ve seen more threads about people not getting a BFP until way later because I definitely started to think I was broken. I mean as long as there is no AF there is still a little bit of hope.

The weather is terrible where I am so I’m not even a little tempted to pop to the shops to get a test.

@Kay00 hoping your O comes soon and your OPK's spring to life again.

@Nellieee completely get you with the OH not giving two hoots about the science behind it all. The first time we DTD after I came off the pill he was surprised I wasn't pregnant later that evening! I asked him yesterday if he wanted to see my OPK and BBT temp chart and he couldn't run away fast enough! MEN!!

@MissC07 LOL! Oh I really felt that comment. Mine says it all the time "reckon your pregnant". Have to remind him I'm not the Virgin Mary and it doesn't happen like that! 🤣

@MissC07 that comment made me laugh! I swear men think that it’s an automatic if you have unprotected sex that you’ll get pregnant.

@Nellieee I have nothing lined up! I might treat myself with a trip to Superdrug on the weekend and get a selection 😂. I’m going lockdown mad.

@MissC07 my OH is the same haha he seems to always ask "you pregnant yet?" And I have to explain every time that it's the 2ww for a reason! But he's really not that bad. He does ask when my fertile week is and sits there patiently when I excitedly show him my temps. Doesn't take his supplements though unless I force them on him and moans when I ask him to cut down on caffeine 🙄

Me again..... I’ve been reading all your messages. You lot are the TTC bible, your knowledge is amazing and really helpful so thank you.
Came off cerazette on 3rd Jan and felt like I have ovulation pain/ feeling yest and today have the CM that people talk about (egg white?).... could I be ovulating without having had a period yet?

Hi everyone, I have been reading this thread for a couple of weeks now and finally plucked up the courage to post as I’ve realised TTC is going to be one hell of an emotional rollercoaster! You all seem super lovely so hoping I can join for some support and I’ll be able to offer some back too!

My story so far is I came off the pill after 12 years in September, had a withdrawal straight away as usual then have had 3 40ish day natural cycles since. Didn’t “try” for the first two cycles but started using the clue app to keep track of things. Last cycle was first one trying so I used clear blue digi sticks and got a peak around day 30 but AF 10 days later...which was the same day as a friend’s preg announcement. I then realised that this may not be as easy as I thought and going it alone doesn’t feel like the answer! (Safety in numbers, right!?)

Someone close to me also recently told me she and her partner have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility plus a few of my friends are pregnant (all first time, not really trying etc..!) so decided to get things checked out just in case and prevent panic mode setting in. Had an internal scan and my husband had an SA, my results were all normal and his results were good with a high count etc (naturally he’s been bouncing around the house super pleased with himself).

Anyway that’s me...CD16 atm...long old wait for the big O if last cycle is anything to go by...

Looking forward to chatting with you all and hopefully keeping eachother sane!

Hey @Ttcin2021 it’s perfectly plausible to ovulate before your first period and catch it. Egg white CM is definitely a sign, have you done any ovulation sticks?

BBT sometimes dips the day before ovulating I think, but you need to take BBT times at the same time every day to establish a pattern

@Ttcin2021 welcome! Sounds like it could be ovulation to me! I tend to get a dip on the day of ovulation so definitely jump on OH. When in doubt, bang it out as I would say.

@Endlessstars hello! welcome as well :) It's totally bonkers how quickly TTC starts messing with our heads - and once we start trying it all feels like it takes ages to happen and we get so impatient. I think it's cause our OHs become dads when we give birth whereas we become mums the second we start TTC. Let's hope your cycles start getting a bit shorter (and your luteal phase a tad longer maybe!) in the coming cycles as your body recovers from the pill :)

@Juno231 yeah that’s what I was thinking! Haha...... if we have dtd yesterday and 2 days before that is that also good? Doesn’t have to specifically be on the day?!

Final moan from me tonight... it's not acceptable to leave my empty pee pot neatly near the toilet, but it's ok for him to leave his dirty pants on the floor? 🤷‍♀️ Sometimes I'm really jealous of the Virgin Mary 😂

@Kay00 I'm glad I'm not the only 35 year old here! I honestly thought I was 36 the other week when a co-worker corrected me! How is the inflammation today? Did you speak to the GP?

@Flowers222 I'm not sure we're going to have the stamina for SMEP either to be honest! Ha! We've only done day one so we'll soon see!

@MissC07 @Nellieee @ChinChilly @juno231 @flowers222 Your stories about your OH's have had me chuckling! Mine is pretty good, but then again I haven't left a pee pot out for him to find yet! He loves taking vitamins - I hadn't even thought about asking him to take more. He takes as many as me already I think! He's so health conscious...I do wish it rubbed off on me! I'm just too happy eating all the Xmas chocolate still!

@sperr I forgot to say, how have you not re-tested yet?! Are you cycles regular normally? Have you been temping? I'm so impressed by your willpower!
