@ChinChilly I was also tempted to poas this morning (also CD7) with the Clearblue opk's - but I managed to hold off till tomorrow! Think the cost of them put me off! I also bought a pack of Easy@home hcg tests and 2 packs of frers last week! I put them away before DH asked me what they were! Haha! He's the same as your OH @Nellieee - like is this really necessary?!

@Cams50 I feel like this was me a month or two ago...I had a 9 day AF, but then wasn't sure if I should log the first bit as spotting or not with it being so light. I was never sure which was CD1 because of this, so it could have been a 5 day lp, or 10...it's so confusing. This last cycle was the closest I've had to 'normal' since stopping the pill last May. Hopefully you'll ovulate soon, and your lp will increase! My fingers are crossed for you, I understand how frustrating it is!

Hopefully I’ve just labelled CD1 wrong and I’ll ovulate soon 😅🤞🏻 I don’t know whether to keep taking the Agnus castus though... it’s so hard to know whether I’m doing more harm than good when I just want to help things along! I hope fertile week comes along quickly so you’re not waiting around too long 😊 x

@Nellieee hahaha, my OH is completely the same, keeps rolling his eyes at me!

@Cams50 sounds like you CD1 was later than you logged as you say - makes your previous LP and this FP more sensible timeframes so hope that is it and you get fertile week soon!

I had a super quick peak on my OPK's - had only 1 day of two lines the same colour and day before and day after the second line was barely visible. Makes me wonder if I just had a faulty OPK as it was there and gone so soon. Or is that normal? I use onestep which are super cheap, so thinking they might be faulty...

BFN from me! I guess it’s just a waiting game for AF now! So annoyed that it’s ruined my 28 day cycles though 😩

@Juno231 The tracking comes in handy for that 😂

@FlyingGiraffe I can see the CB OPKs get expensive, I don’t mind POAS on the cheapies to feed my addiction!

@Lovebug06 Welcome, I’m 7 months off the pill and about 4/5 cycles actively trying! Each month AF turns up is super disappointing

@Flowers222 keeping everything crossed that your just a tad too early!

@abi555 I’m not sure I’ve ever had a faulty OPK But I’m guessing it’s entirely possible.

@Sperr dammit, I was sure you were going to get a BFP! How many DPO are you?

@Sperr I'm so sorry it's a bfn! Strange that you are 4 days late. Do you track ovulation at all and know when it might have happened?

@ChinChilly @Flowers222 I think I’m 12 dpo (don’t track temp yet). I normally only have a 10 day LP and O was late this month. I guess the next few days will be the only tell!

Should I tell OH I’m late but had a BFN? I feel like I’m in a bad mood now 😂

Thanks @Cams50, @abi555 and @ChinChilly. I do still think from my chart I am 10dpo but it's just weird both of the other apps are saying 9dpo 🤷‍♀️ I got a very faint line at 11dpo last month so I know I'm not out yet but every bfn is hard to see. Will just see what my temps do in the next few days.

@Flowers222 although I have seen so many people in the past year on MN have BFNs at 10DPO and go on to have BFPs. I think percentage wise it's 50/50 pretty much on getting a bfp that early on if you are indeed preggers!

@abi555 thank you! Yeah I think (hope) that’s what it is. Yeah an LH surge can come and go within a few hours even! So that’s perfectly normal. Are you temping? A temp rise should confirm ovulation. If not maybe keep testing as sometimes you can get a few LH surges in the month. But hopefully that was your ovulation ☺️ But also who knows about faulty sticks. I’m sure some are bound to be. X

@Cams50 thank you! Cervix is still closed and high and that’s the only thing giving me hope. I guess only the next few days will tell.

I’m not a massive symptom spotter so when I started having loads of lotiony CM that’s when I was like something is different! Only the next few days will tell.

OH actually asked me tonight if I was pregnant. I guess he remembered I said I was due.

Like we all always say, you’re not out until AF!

@abi555 You could have the rapid onset lh surge possibly? The premom blog explains the difference here www.blog.premom.com/blog/2018/5/22/ovulation-test-important-tips-to-pinpoint-lh-surge-accurately-sghrd Like @Cams50 has said, a temp rise should confirm ovulation if you do that?

@Sperr Sorry it was a bfn I was convinced I could be on new years day and was a bit down after it was negative. I didn't tell DH I'd tested until AF started a couple of days later.

@Flowers222 9dpo is still early days - I saved this page after someone else posted it a while ago. www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=9 There's still a good chance yet to get a bfp.

@Kay00 sorry if already answered or too late but I normally test with opk using smu and if near peak about 4pm as well :)
Have you been getting 2nd line throughout your cycle? When trying for my son I only started to get a hint of a line within a couple of days if my positive, but now I keep getting darker but still light and negative then very light then darker 😫

@ACNass when trying for my son mine were negative apart from the few days around the positive might just be like this until you get nearer?

@ChinChilly im the same I'm so confused what's going on I've peed on 4 sticks today 😂 send help!

@Sperr I understand the fears but you're much stronger than me not testing that long. I had my🤞🏻 for you, could you have ovulated later? 🤞🏻

@TheDaydreamBelievers where in your cycle are you? My temps are all over the place 🙈

@Juno231 that's crazy cheap for frers I bought the same pack I think varies from £13 -£14 for me but still so much cheaper than in the shops and none close to me sell them anyway 🙈

@Cams50 could you have missed it? Mine can be positive for literally a few hours then back down within a day or 2 negative again.

@Lovebug06 hi :) no advice as such but wishing you luck! 🤞🏻 when is AF due?

@Flowers222 🤞🏻 for you that is still early and could still be off on your timing making you even earlier

@abi555 I use the one step ones and atm I'm all over the place blank white then darker line very clearly visible but not a positive, then back lighter or negative again. When I was trying for my first mine were blank white then within 24-48 hours went from light lines to my peak and then back to negative so completely.

So my faint positives are now negative (have been for 2 days) but still no bleed which is strange as last year when I had a chemical I bled before the tests went negative so I'm a little confused, opks and temp all over the place, just very confused what my body is doing 🙈

@Sperr you’re definitely not out until AF arrives 🤞🏼

@firsttimemummy321 glad I’m not the only one, I seem to POAS just for something to do these days. Hmm that is strange wonder what’s going on!

I think I’ll actually be glad to go back to work next week, although not looking forward to my inbox, by the time i go back I’ll have been off for over a month 🤦🏼‍♀️

@ChinChilly yeah I get sucked I. Very quickly 😂 made worse by these strange happenings. I'm assuming chemical but not sure why I haven't bled yet :( don't blame you with work emails mine shoot up very quickly 🙈

@firsttimemummy321 I think I had a chemical in November and my test was negative before I bled. So does mine and my out of office hasn’t even been on since 29th December & my sick note covers me until the 20th January 😬

@firsttimemummy321 I'm really sorry your faint positives went negative. Mine went negative 2 days before I started bleeding with my cp so might just take a little bit of time.

@firsttimemummy321 so sorry about the negatives 😞 hopefully it sorts itself out quickly so you can start a fresh cycle.

I would have thought I’d missed ovulation as my peaks do come and go fairly quickly except that my temps haven’t risen so don’t think so. Why are bodies so confusing!

@firsttimemummy321 no idea, the apps and CDs dont really work post miscarriage. I'm 6 weeks post surgery and 4 weeks after stopping bleeding. But still testing positive. And not even a sniff of ovulation. Sorry, feel like my posts on this thread are v groundhog day but that's how I feel (and I'm also just v preoccupied with it!)

@ChinChilly that really made me lol! The exact same thing happened with us the other day, with OH moaning we'd gone without sex for two weeks a month or so ago. I soon corrected him with the app evidence 😂🤣 hope FW is not during OHs late shifts. Grr. @abi555 @FlyingGiraffe they don't know the half of it, do they?!

@MissC07 just tell him to produce the goods! Haha. I started putting him on notice (not sure that's a good idea tbh!!)

@Sperr Oh I'm sorry it's a bfn for now. Hopeful that it's just a delayed positive for you!! Did you tell OH? It's such a rollercoaster of emotions.

@Cams50 12 day period is tough! Bless you. Have heard mixed things about agnus castus. How long are your cycles normally?

@Lovebug06 glad you're feeling positive for 2021. It's a real mind game. You naturally get your hopes up each month. It feels like everyone is pregnant these days. I've come off socials and feel better for it tbh.

@Flowers222 you're still v early on! When are you due on?

Posted another thread but just occurred to me to ask here! Has anyone had super painful ovulation off the pill?

I was on the mini pill, desogestrel. My first bleed was OK, a bit heavy at first and didn't stop completely for twelve days but not too painful, I just felt exhausted. Had sex a day before suspected ovulation, got cramps after and diarrhea :/ then on ovulation day severe cramping, ovary pain, sciatic and leg pain. It's been a few days and I still have milder burning/cramping all over abdomen, ovary twinges, low back aches and general bloated/heavy feeling low down. Has anyone else had this after stopping a pill? It's so bad I don't know if I can continue (definitely couldn't have sex again after the pain started so I missed most of the fertile window I guess) I've been bedbound with it and really tired. FWIW I have endometriosis which is controlled with the mini pill taken constantly.

@minipilling I didn't have it but what pops into my head immediately is that it sounds like it could be a cyst on your ovaries? I'd call the gp about it and see if you can get a scan!

@sperr omg I missed your update! I'm so sorry! I wonder if you ovulated a few days later and your BFP might pop up soon anyway. All your symptoms sounded spot on! I'd tell your OH the truth, I'm sure he'd understand that you weren't going to wait a whole week after AF was due just to be in the same room as him and pee stick? Or am I being optimistic 🙊

Yeah may be an endo related cyst but it's very unlike my usual endo/scar tissue pain and I was fine up until a few days ago. I've had two surgeries to remove cysts and endo. Hopefully not that again!

@Nellieee it’s good to have abit ot a back up to shut the male moaning up! OH has booked the night shifts off yay! He hates doing them anyway. He’s got an interview on Wednesday for a job closer to home with no night shifts 🤞🏼

@minipilling that sounds really painful, I would definitely call your GP.

6:30 this morning and the dog is walking around with a bra in his mouth...I hope this isn’t the tone for the day 😂😂
