@PumpkinEverything that’s my understanding that generally we wouldn’t ovulate while the body still thinks it’s pregnant (otherwise you could conceive again during a regular pregnancy). I was picking up positive opks while my hcg was ever so slightly positive so you have to wait until it’s definitely negative to believe the opks I reckon ! Did you say you’ve had negative pt ? Xx

@PumpkinEverything this was my photo from 12th dec and I got my first true negative pt on 15th. You can see the slightest faint positive on pt and the opk looks fairly positive but once I got my negative pt the opks were lower xx

Thanks for sharing @SophW194 still waiting on my negative PT! I had my surgical management on the 8th dec and this is the test I took this morning at 3 weeks and 2 days post surgery. There’s definitely a line there but it has faded from what it was only 2 days ago so I’m hoping that if I give it to Monday it’ll be gone. They had told me to ring at 3 weeks if it wasn’t negative but because I could see it seemed to have faded a good bit from last week I’ve held off. Hoping that’s been the right decision on my part 🙈🙈
Yeah I def don’t believe the OPKs either! Hoping it doesn’t take me too long to ovulate after I finally get my negative

@HappyVibes Thanks for asking hun, yeah I'm doing well. Longing to know whether or not I'm pregnant and next Friday seems a age away! I feel optimistic because we dtd so much and I've had lots of CM since then. And you with your AF only a few days away could potentially think about testing!? 😛 X

Aww that’s brilliant @susiebluebell I love a good bit of optimism! Dunno what’s wrong me with this month not having it myself. Think it’s probably just self protection. I am going to get back into my positivity from tonight 💫 Oh it’ll be at least 14DPO for me to test babe, although potentially slightly earlier as I have progesterone to take and aspirin as soon as I get positive, so do want to know ASAP so I can take them from day dot. How about you lovely - when do you think? Xxx

@HappyVibes I'm sure it is just self-protection, I do that as well. Telling myself nah it won't happen this month and I don't really care either way - load of bollocks 😛

I'm going to test next Friday when AF is due. I feel that's a sensible length of time to avoid early test confusion - but also not going to wait ages like I did last month, because the disappointment was much greater having waited beyond all reasonable doubt! I don't know what the hell that cycle was all about! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think your 14dpo is very sensible too and I completely get wanting to take all the supplements ASAP 😊

@susiebluebell I remember you had that random long cycle and I was in the same boat. Well AF finally started yesterday making it a 65 day cycle!! I had been testing and getting bfn. The app on my phone said I was next due on 2nd Jan so it seems I have just completely skipped a cycle. It’s so strange as it’s not like I have recently had a MC, mine was 2 years ago. I started by spotting a couple of days ago and thought ooh could be implantation bleeding, trying to keep positive but obviously wasn’t as the bleeding is heavier now. I suppose at least I can start from scratch again and track my next cycle properly.

@Wishingfornumber2 Oh God 65 days?! You must be so relieved to get AF, despite the disappointment. At least the confusion is over. I was convinced I was pregnant and thought the tests must somehow be mistaken! 😄 Onto a beautiful new cycle with a fresh lining for baby! Xx

Hi Ladies, I hope you are all keeping well given the circumstances and are feeling positive on this chaotic journey!

I’ve had AF make her visit 1 week later than expected. I had a MMC on 26 nov and was expecting AF on the 4th week as per my normal cycle. I feel a little disappointed as I was sort of convinced I had fallen pregnant as I had all the early symptoms. On the whole, I’m ok. I’m just glad to let my body reset and let me track where I am in my cycle. I will certainly be getting down to business over the next couple of weeks

@bez91 ah yeah I know what you mean about the apps, Premom has an option for ‘miscarriage bleeding’ but even if you select it it doesn’t figure out that that meant you’d been pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️. So when I hadn’t had a period in October/November it was telling me I was having a 65 day cycle or something daft !! 😅

Well it was weird, we hadn’t dtd in ages as the original miscarriage bleeding started the morning after we dtd and then that went on for about 4 weeks as they had to wait 2 weeks to confirm the miscarriage and then obviously didn’t feel up to it straight away. I think we were just both so creeped out by it that we didn’t go near each other 🥴😳. So it’d been 6 weeks but after we did the first time I think we felt much more relaxed about it and couldn’t keep our hands off each other after that 🙈 which happened to coincide with my fertile window so who knows but I’ve read that sperm dna can change if unused for a while so I’m worrying it wouldn’t have been viable sperm anyway (tmi sorry !). How about you ? What are you thinking about when to try again etc ? xx

Aww sorry about that @NI101 It is really hard post MC when cycles change. You’re looking at it from a very healthy perspective. & it’ll be a good indicator of when potentially your next cycle will all fall. Post MC mine have been slightly longer, but gradually reduced back down. Each month I’ve worked it all out as an average, and it’s really been helpful and pretty accurate.

Thanks @HappyVibes & @susiebluebell yes at least it’s a fresh start for the near year. Yes I kept thinking I was pregnant too and that I was just going to be one of those women who gets a late positive. I even took a test today just to be 100% sure I’m not 🤣. Was obviously bfn so that’s that. Must start 2021 with a positive mindset.

@SophW194 I know what you mean, it's got my cycle day right but elsewhere it says this cycle length is 81 days 🤦🏼‍♀️ we were a bit the same tbh 😆 after all the worry of going for a scan and things not looking good so had to go for more scans and wait for the procedure then the bleeding to finish was about 4/5 weeks in total. Hey you never know! Have you had any possible early signs?
We'll try again in January. I wanted to this month but DH has been obsessively worried about me 🙄

@bez91 aww that’s sweet that he worries 🙂 we were obviously so heartbroken but I have to say, if I were to look for a positive, it’s brought us all so much closer. My hubby and me have been pretty inseparable and the boys have been showing their emotions and affection more ☺️. Have you got children already ? Sorry if you’ve already said, I lose track on the threads !
I’ve had strange cm and had a headache yesterday and the day before and some ovulation twinges but I’m not sure if that’s cos they said I had a cyst on each ovary 🤷🏼‍♀️ Trying not to symptom spot but it’s so hard !! Xx

Did anyones AF take longer to arrive after miscarriage? It's been 30 days since my miscarriage and still no sign..I normally have regular 28 day cycle.
Just want to come so I know everything is back to normal and we can try again

@Hopefulmummie it definitely can take longer to arrive. I'm CD33 after surgery now and no sign of AF or indeed ovulation.

@Hopefulmummie For my first miscarriage they said to expect AF within 4-6 weeks however mine took just over 8 weeks due to some retained tissue. I’ve heard your cycle can be longer at first post miscarriage while things settle down. I hope it arrives soon for you. I remember it seemed like forever!
It’s only 9 days since my second miscarriage but this time the doctor said there was no need to wait to TTC so I think we will start straight away. Not decided yet!

@TheDaydreamBelievers so annoying wish it would just arrive.

@jec1983 I wanted to try straight away too. I used ovulation tests last week and they were high results so we dtd a few times but not putting pressure on it as would rather wait for AF arrive so I can track.properly

@SophW194 that's good to hear about you and DH 😊 got one DD (3) how old are your boys? It would be helpful if pregnancy and AF symptoms weren't the same right!

I'm on CD31 today and had horrendous cramping on the stroke of midnight that lasted about an hour but no sign of AF this morning 🤷‍♀️ so @Hopefulmummie I'm the same!

@Hopefulmummie I think on average AF is due 14 days after ovulation so if you ovulated last week maybe AF will arrive next week? Hope you get your BFP soon 🤞

So guys I took a test yesterday just thinking ohh I’ll do one for the last day of 2020 see if it wants to give me anything good back and I could swear I could see the FAINTEST of things just like I could see where the line would be if there was one (yes I know how crazy that sounds !😂). I kept going back to look at it all day to check whether I really have gone mad. Anyway, I had also been thinking I’d do one today as well to see if the new year would bring me luck (yes, still sounding insane !), and I still feel like I can see something ?! I’m only 8dpo so I know it’s super early I’m just also really paranoid now and want to make sure I’m doing everything right next time cos I keep thinking about how I hoovered the lounge which is a high pile so quite tough and blaming myself for last time.

I wasn’t sure whether to post about it on here which is why I’ve held off but would be grateful for your opinions ? Thanks all xx
