When TTC feels like a proper TWATFACE, we’ve got each other’s backs. We’ve had trolling TTC charts, f**k boy bodies and a few of us are giving up and handing our bodies to the fertility doctors instead. Maybe they can do a better job eh?

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, be it DTD, SMEP, syringe, IVF we don’t care 🥰

@Vil10 and now everytime I say well i can't eat or drink that about pate of soft cheese and alcohol etc and she's like well I don't know and I'm like you do know so stop being ignorant 🤣 it's so hard not to worry, I've been doing tests etc and the lines are still really dark but you could still be getting positives and be miscarrying 😣 my supervisor at work had been ttc for 5 years and just bought some for his wife to go in her stocking 🤣

@Vil10 we've used preseed not conceive plus and really like preseed as an overall really good lube anyway, we like it so much we want some more for general lube

@lucyrp sorry your mum is acting that way bless you, but I know it’s easier said than done but try not to stress bless you. Sounds like everything is fine at the moment.

@Minster2012 all went well thank you. Very very emotional after my mmc in July but I have a right little wriggler. With what seems like very long legs haha. Honestly words can’t explain how happy I am, emotional wreck springs to mind when I was in there but the sonographer was amazing and talked me through everything x

@paintfairy well personally I don't think having a baby makes all that much difference to finance but I expect that's down to if you breastfeed etc! I knew her response would be rubbish that's why I didn't want to say in person 🤣

@lucyrp definitely would for us. Less money when on maternity leave. Can't afford to give up work but that means there are childcare costs. Never mind the nappies, pushchairs and god knows what. Don't even like to think about it! But since nothing is happening there's no point in worrying about that yet. 🤣 Cross that bridge later. We do have some savings.

I would like to think my mum would be happy. I guess you do? But if think my DHs mum would be like yours to be honest. She couldn't understand why we got married. Didn't even send a card when we got engaged. Or an anniversary card. Some parents are just like that I guess?

@lucyrp I find that you’ll manage with changes of circumstances, as far as you support each other....

@paintfairy oh yeah in that regards it does but i get 4.5 months full pay and then 4.5 months SP but OH pay would cover the loss I lose on that. My mum is my childcare for my DS so hoping she will do that this time round too, she knows I'm expecting her too but whether she will who knows. Il still have to pay her. CHB will cover nappies and more for me, I have a few good friends who have recently had babies one of each gender so il get all their hand me downs and I already have all of DS stuff. I want to get a new pram etc if funds permit but if not I already have one.

I'm the completely opposite where as my mum is like that and my OH mum will be delighted or at least we think she will as he always teases her and says I'm pregnant. Its been hard nor to tell her and I keep saying to OH I'd rather she knew we were pregnant even if we lost it.

The tree looks lovely @paintfairy and regarding affording pushchairs and things, like you said to Lucy, you just adapt and we've had a few pushchairs for the various stages as I realised what I wanted cos what I needed was different 😂and NONE of them new, all secondhand all brilliant (all one particular brand I'd researched a lot) which I washed everything including the fabrics. There's only certain stuff like car seat, mattress for cot etc you need new, lots of things are available & brilliant second hand. Babies go through lots of stuff quickly.

OMG we have an annoying noise we can't pinpoint 😩😬it's driving me nuts.

Plus I'm having a silent standoff with DH (he doesn't realise) because I've told him THREE times now that there are presents for DS to wrap & bring down & put in the fricking stocking & under tree (ie so Santa has been now SANTA HAS EATEN HIS COOKIE & DRUNK HIS BRANDY) & I'm not being the only one that fulfils Christmas especially after DS spends ALL day going not mummy, only daddy do it. Well daddy hasn't bought anything and can't be arsed to make Santa happen 🤬🎅🏻

Just popping on to wish you all a happy Christmas for tomorrow 🎄. I left ALL wrapping to the last minute so most of my evening has been that 😅 @Minster2012 I hope your DH gets a move on with the last bits to sort out. Also am I the only person who still hand washes dishes? 😂 I probably just get away with it because it's only the 2 to of us. It might change whenever (if!) we ever have little ones to feed too. 🥂
