TWW for Christmas BFP, anyone else?

Just starting the TWW, AF due Christmas Eve. Hoping for a lovely Christmas present!

@MariaA11 could it still be too early? How many dpo are you?

@BrightonR I think a lot of pregnancy signs are very similar to pms so it can be hard to tell. I had loads of symptoms last month & late AF but I wasn’t pregnant, just messed up hormones!

@Annannanna AF came promptly after, 3 days early! I’m 13dpo according to flo. Oh well boozy Christmas it is!

Not tested yet but my CB digital ovulation stick is still giving me flashing smileys which means my oestrogen has been randomly high since ovulation....which is annoying if I’m not pregnant -.-

I’m 9 DPO today

Cd23 here and about 7dpo give or take! No real symptoms other than left ovary pain but I have had that a few weeks now. Wondering if I have another cyst again! Must get it looked at

I'm about 5dpo and having mild cramps all day....so of course I've ignored my uni assessments to extensively find people on google who had 5dpo cramps and then a BFP 😂🙈 Why do I set myself up for upset every cycle? Never learn!

Hi I'm new to mumsnet.

Currently 13dpo. Planning to test tomorrow.

Periods have always been irregular so no idea when I'm due. Last months luteal phase was 12 days. Previous month was 15 days.

We're still is shielding (have been since march) and I need to input my online shopping tomorrow for the last delivery before Christmas. So need to know whether I need to order alcohol! Lol x

@Annannanna I felt so sick this afternoon.

I had breakfast about 8ish. Then about 11ish was starving. Belly rumbling, the lot. So I had cheese on toast and a cup of tea. Then I felt sick to the point I thought I was going to be sick. That passed after about ten mins. Then I just felt sick for a few hours. Ate ginger biscuits to try and settle my stomach. Now I'm eating chocolate lol.

I've had bigger and sore boobs and bloating but get that with AF too.

I've had a few dizzy spells. Been clumsy dropping things. Smashed my fave Christmas glass yest!

I've had heartburn on and off. Two nights ago I woke up because I felt like I was trying to breathe under water. I woke hubby up because I dived out of bed and was coughing and spluttering. I think it was because my squash kept coming back up while I was lying down.

I've had a few weird dreams and I'm tired.

I've had a few chemicals so that's why I haven't tried testing earlier. Had a lot of these symptoms with the chemicals. X

@KerryW87 Omg I am so bad for symptom spotting. I find myself googling things like 'left tooth hurts 4DPO pregnancy signs' haha. Part of me even thinks I'm gonna be one of those women who have a full blown period and are still pregnant.

Don't think it'll stop until I see those two lines!

Is that what's it means? I've been bad and using my clear blue advanced after I got my "🙂" as I wanted to check ovulation did happen and my hormones would dip. But for 4 days after is was still flashing every morning. I've been Googling what it means but all I keep finding is "don't tested after peak" ect

@dano99 yeah if you’re using the dual hormone purple one. If it’s flashing after ovulation then it means your oestrogen is high. However, we do get oestrogen surges on the TWW so that’s why it’s not a good way of predicting pregnancy. It also doesn’t help that every woman is different hormone wise, so what’s normal for one of us, won’t be for another. I’m trying to monitor my oestrogen and use my CP, but realistically I can’t pinpoint anything until I test Sunday/Monday at 11/12 DPO. My CP is also high and soft which is unusual for me at this stage but that can change month to month.

Yeah mines the dual purple one, I've managed to stop using it now as I've suddenly realised if I don't get my BFP I'm going to have no tests left for next month 😅 thanks for explaining that, I've been searching high and low for answers haha

Oo I hear high up CP is good sign! My CP keeps changing daily... Today is low and firm but I struggle to know if it's open or not haha. I'm 5/6 dpo and felt really disheartened when I felt how low it was so I went to read loads of threads where people still got BFP with low CP🙈

@dano99 Don’t be disheartened, I’ve seen SO many threads where people say theirs was low and firm but got BFPs! Just goes to show unless you’re testing it the same time each day, and are super in-tune with your normal, it’s just not a good indicator. Apparently it can also change throughout the day as if things weren’t hard enough!

@MariaA11 Oh my god I'm so glad you said that 😂😂 I am EXACTLY the same! I try to take comfort in thinking it's not that I'm crazy...it's just TTC makes us ALL crazy 😂

Can't wait until next week when it's my turn to test, although these cramps are ramping up and I do sometimes get cramps up to a week before AF arrives so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Keep us posted when you test! ❤️

Sooooo....I used one of my LH internet cheapies today (because CB are expensive and I don’t want to waste anymore!) and this happened. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet, but unless I’m ovulating again, I think this may be a good sign of things to come! I have FRER tests coming today so plan on doing one tomorrow first thing. Fingers crossed for a BFP!

I'm 6DPO and took one and it was blank :( Is this quite a reliable method? As in, if mine are blank does that mean I can't be pregnant? Suppose it's good to be realistic x

I have two frers already..... and due Xmas day. No sure if to test Xmas Eve or not...!

@KerryW87 no it just shows a hormonal surge again that you get when pregnant or ovulating. At your dpo it would be blank regardless xxx

@KerryW87 Pretty sure it’s not an overly reliable way of testing, but I’m waiting on FRERs so it was all I had! It could also mean another LH surge, which happens just before AF but I’m 5 days away yet, so wasn’t sure what to think.
