TWW for Christmas BFP, anyone else?

Just starting the TWW, AF due Christmas Eve. Hoping for a lovely Christmas present!

Got my BFP today with a FRER :) I’m 10 DPO and was due AF on 24th, so it’s still super early days. Going to take another in a couple of days just to make sure that line gets nice and dark. I also took another CB opk after the cheapie this morning, and that came up with a static face. So, turns out the opks were right!

@KerryW87 literally just used the Clearblue digital ovulation test (the purple one) Once we knew when I ovulated it made everything a lot easier!

@Annannanna No signs at all still. Felt really sick again this afternoon. Not normal for me.

I usually go up a size in leggings before af. Up to a week before. I'm a bit bloated but still in normal size stuff.

Usually have cramps for a week before. Had nothing at all.

My temp was 37.01 this morning x

@CarlyAM congratulations. I'm still trying to hang on till 12dpo but I just got a delivery of frer so I'll see if I can hold on 2 more days haha

@CarlyAM congrats!! I think I'm similar to you, about 10dpo due af on Xmas eve. I don't have any pregnancy tests in the house but I do have opks lol. Do you need to use FMU when using opks to test pregnancy?

@CarlyAM I ordered some ovulation tests but the pink ones. Never used them before I’ve just kinda guessed when I ovulated.

Hey I had an ectopic in October and couple days ago I got a bfp. Worried about any slight twinges etc. Having my scan on Monday if they can see anything yet that is. All the best to you all it's very stressful TTC I guess I'm just lucky it happened so quickly after ectopic, but I hope this time it sticks and is all OK x

Hi all, I hope you are well and managing ok after Boris' announcement today! I have been following this post as I have been in the TWW myself and could not resist testing any longer (AF due 21/22). I took a FRER this evening and am over the moon to see two lines! I am waiting to tell my fiancé on Christmas Day but wanted to share the news with someone - and to spread baby dust to you all

Hi ladies. Thought I would join in as just started my first TWW. Currently 3dpo and trying to avoid symptom spotting...😬 also considering when to test. My pre-pill cycles averaged 26 days but varied between 25-32ish days, so no real idea when to test. Toying with the idea of Christmas Day 🤷‍♀️

Ps lovely to see a BFP as one of the first messages I read. Congratulations!! ✨

@Annannanna thank you! I took a chance and ordered a personalised baby grow with our surname and plan to put it in a gift box with the positive test. Thinking we will do other presents first and then I'll 'remember' there's one more present.. also hoping I can sneakily film his reaction somehow!

Awwwww congratulations @Charlab such a beautiful idea!!!! I'm so going I can do the same! Af due Xmas Eve now according to app predictions but I just feel strange and feel like af should be here now with the cramps I'm having. Hope you can let us know is reaction! X

I'll be 10DPO on Christmas Eve so might test then. It'd be the absolute silver lining to a decidedly crap month so fingers crossed, haha...although been having cramps since 4DPO which is typical for me most cycles so trying to stay realistic.

So today's was very different... It's so high and can nearly find it! Like a little button, trying so hard not to get my hopes up but I feels so positive!! Holding off testing Until Tuesday morning xx
