Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@DrS44 Haha i started off my cycle too full of optimism! I was sure it would be CD15 for me! Was DTD loads & felt great! Then by time CD18 I had absolutely lost the will to live and all started going downhill and I started obsessing again! 😢 I was dehydrated then too coz I was doing them so much and didn't want it to be dilute! was so glad when I stopped doing the OPKs!
If you are like me, and you ovulate late this cycle (I was CD26), you'll still be covered by DTD! and hopefully temps will pick it up if you do! :)

No need to apologise, you don't sound dramatic at all! It's hard when there's good news all around you and things aren't going to plan, so don't apologise! :)

@positivitytree2020 sounds exactly like me 🤣🤣 ya we will just keep DTD every other day and hope for the best! I kinda just want this cycle done now so I can move on 🙄😅 xxxx

Oh yes @Dex1521 - this was most definitely me in my October tww 😂😂 November I had no symptoms other than sore boobs so I was a lot more chilled.

@DrS44 I can very much relate to how you are feeling. My journey so far has been very up and down and it is so frustrating when you're watching everyone ovulate like clockwork with textbook cycles and dehydrating yourself to the point of a headache to try and a get a line on an OPK! I get it. And for the record - my 'peak' OPK was 0.65 - I had to decide for myself it was my peak. I've attached a photo to show you. I reckon I've just got one of those very rapid surges and I peaked either between 11am and 4pm or 4pm and 8pm that day.

Take a break from the OPKs if you need to as they don't make you feel happy every time you see it so low and white. But ideally keep regularly DTD and temping. And it is fine to be so frustrated and annoyed, so def don't apologise ♥️

Also DP has scabies 😱😱 I have a Telehealth consultation with GP tomorrow to find out if I can do anything to prevent it in me. Apparently it takes 4-8 weeks to come out first time you get it (this is first time he's had it, so could actually have had it for ages). No idea where he got it. Sounds like something a pirate would get along with their scurvy.

@CardioQueen oh gosh that does sound like a pirate. I looked it up as had heard of it but didn't know what it was and did read if you contract it pregnant there is no harm to the fetid but still you'd definitely much rather prevent it. Hope Your DP isn't suffering from it for too long xx

Got my cross hairs today and another temp increase. Way higher and more severe incline than the last two cycles so taking that as a good thing and I think we DTD enough to cover all bases. Praying this is my cycle but what will be will be 🤞✨

Yes @Dex1521 that's what I read too, so it's not the end of the world if I contract it, but DP has been so itchy in the night and I'm already awake from like 4.30am every night - would be ideal if I didn't add to the list of things keeping me up 😂

@CardioQueen thanks so much that's really helpful! I think I'll do as you all suggest and just keep DTD every other night! This morning I didn't manage to take my temp because i woke up to my puppy vomiting on the stairs 😭😭 so had to jump up and check on her! She's ok now I think 🙈 I had a terrible nights sleep so I went back to sleep for 2 hours and took my temp at 8.30 so not very accurate. Did an OPK with FMU and it was a .3 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I don't think I'll bother later and take a break...

ANYWAYS enough about whingey little me! How are the graduates doing? What are yer main symptoms? Any crazy cravings yet 🤣 xxxx

@DrS44 awww bless puppy, do you know what made her sick? How old is she? Tbf our youngest dog is nearly 1 and is sick very regularly. He eats too much grass 🙈 (he has a balanced diet, he just likes eating everything)

Yes I think it's a good idea, lots of people fall by just DTD every other day and not bothering with OPKs. And I can understand why - you can see from my photo that it was CD38 for me, it was a very long and draining cycle. Not good for the mind really.

Oh god I didn't even notice the CD day 👀👀👀 Jesus you persevered!! How long was your luteal phase then? And do you mind me asking when this was in relation to your BFP?

She's just 9months- and actually have no idea what made her sick. She didn't eat her brekkie either so not really sure! She seems fine in herself so I'll just keep an eye on her ☺️ xxxxx

Yes so I calculated my LP was 10 days from the previous 2 cycles which were 37 and 57 days respectively. This photo is from the cycle I got my BFP - I didn't persevere long enough in the 57 day cycle to catch my peak and I wasn't even using the OPKs in the 37 day cycle. However, I can calculate the LP in those cycles from ovulation bleeding and BBT.

So I did my first FRER at 12DPO, having expected a LP of 10 days and therefore AF to arrive at 11DPO. Gave her the whole day to show up, thinking "well Dr said I hadn't ovulated anyway so might not even make sense going based on 'expected LP'", then tested the next morning.

Aw little puppy. They get sick so much when they're young. Mine are like my babies, I always wish they could talk when they get ill 💕

@CardioQueen ohh that's wild!! There's hope yet so 😅 god you had such a rough time of it - so glad you got your BFP!

Ya it's strange she's only ever been sick once before that was just bile... I know I'm the same I keep asking her how she's feeling 😅😅 as if she gonna talk back 🤣🤣 xxxx

Also @CardioQueen what were your temps like?! I only started temping this cycle at like CD19 and they've been around the 36.18 mark (other than this morning) so I'm presuming no ovulation as last month my temps rose above 36.5 after ovulation xxx

@DrS44 I know, it's been nothing like textbook for me! But thank you 🥰 there is definitely hope yet - I am proof!

Oh don't worry I am exactly the same - having full blown conversations with the dogs sometimes. Definitely get better responses when the words walk, biscuits or kibbles are thrown about though 😂 hope your little one feels better soon xx

@DrS44 those temps sound very similar to mine. Mine were pretty rocky (FF let me know this regularly) and fluctuated between 35.90 and 36.40, but the 36.40 days were when we had some really warm nights. They generally sat at 36.20 for follicular phase and then between 36.50 - 36.75 for LP. And after I got BFP they climbed higher to 37.05. I don't think there's much merit in keeping taking them after the BFP though, but it was a bit of a habit!

@Dex1521 oh wow I'm loving your chart. Getting something textbook like that is my dream! You've done everything right so fingers crossed the luck is on your side too now!

@CardioQueen can't believe about the scabies! That's crazy. I've only ever heard of that in terms of outbreaks in care homes and things like that.
I think what happened with your cycles gives us all hope!

@DrS44 Sorry to hear how you're feeling and that it's all stressing you out a bit. I'm CD17 and absolutely nothing on OPKs. Literally 0.2 is the highest I've had all cycle so far 🙄 I didn't ovulated until CD20 last cycle and never got a high OPK so there's still time but last time I could see a few attempted LH rises by this point.
Feel the same as you about the pill and wishing I'd come off sooner so I knew whether that was the issue!
I think I will try the CB sticks next month if I still don't get a positive OPK this month. They just aren't working for me!

My temp is still down nice and low though and dropped today, plus I had ovulation pains last night and spotted EWCM so made sure to DTD. Just confused that my OPKs don't tally up with my other signs 🤷🏻‍♀️

@CardioQueen thanks that's really helpful! I've actually had a look at last months cover line and it was 36.2 so god knows what's going on! I'm defo all over the place! Also can't believe your OH has scabies?! How is he?

@Emmgrem Oohh yes I remember now we had similar late peaks didn't we 😭🙈 I think it just hit this month because I realise my time is tight and I was super optimistic 🤣 that's good that you've all the signs - I'm the same as you they don't seem to align with OPKs which is so frustrating!

Is anyone else who's TTC getting really pissed off with people asking if you're going to get pregnant? We obviously postponed our wedding again to 22 so everyone's like oohhh you gonna have a baby now before hand... I'm like ya ya cool hand me the pill that I swallow that makes me pregnant 🙄😅 the next person that asks me is getting the truth 🤣 yup been off the pill for 4 months and not pregnant yet thanks for asking 🙄 I'm surrounded by babies too 🤣 my Bestie is due any day now, my other friend literally just text with a pic of her new born and my other friend just added me into a group to get one of the girls baby shower presents 😅 it's actually inescapable! So all this talk of I'll just forget about it is basically impossible 🙄😅 I will try chill the fuck out though as the last thing my hormones needs is me to be all over the shop 😅

Means a lot to be able to vent on here 🌟💛 my OH tries to be positive about it but I know it gets him down when I get down about it so I try not to say too much to him! So it's great being able to rant on here xxx but enough from me 🤣 I've about 40 papers to mark for Friday and here I am looking up BBTs and how to encourage ovulation 🤣🤣 xxx

Hi @dex1521 I'm okay thanks. Recivery slowly. Testd are slowly getting more negative but still a while away 🙄 very odd wishing for a negative! 2 weeks post op tomorrow so still early days, although it feels like forever. Going to start trying again as soon as a I get a negative test so hopefully in the next couple of weeks!

What's new? Any BFPs since I last checked NYE?
