Omg!!! Huge congratulations @Foxl2222 incredible news. Awww I'm so so so happy for you both!!

@CardioQueen pretty sure I predicted this on the last thread? Pretty sure I said it is the minute people start looking into help they fall pregnant...

GreenApplesYo · 13/01/2021 13:29

@AMS19 ahhh so nice to hear from you!! Really hope things go smoothly for you with TTC. I imagine in some ways it's a little like coming off the pill again in that it might take a while for your hormones balance? But obviously more nerve-wracking this time round. Have been thinking of you over the last few weeks.x

PowerOfFlowers · 13/01/2021 13:32

@AMS19 hello and so happy to hear from you! I've also been thinking about you, and hoping you are ok. Huge hugs ☺️☺️☺️

AMS19 · 13/01/2021 13:47

Thanks @GreenApplesYo @PowerOfFlowers yep back to square 1 again 😂😂 such a pain to be starting all again but all I can do it pray to fall quickly again and for a different outcome! How are you both? Xx

@AMS19 hopefully your body will bounce back! Also when do we need a new thread? How do you know when we do by the way 😅 I was thinking this the other day and that you weren't here to do it 🤣🤣 I was like we are all lost without you 😅🌟☺️

@CardioQueen
Just did another opk and it's looking better🤞🏻

@DrS44 need a new thread before we get to 1000 so not too long away! What is happening with you? What CD are you?

OP posts:
PowerOfFlowers · 13/01/2021 14:04

One thing with starting again @AMS19 is you have so much more knowledge than when you started the first time. I learnt so much from you in October / November that I genuinely don't think I would be pregnant now if it wasn't for you! I mean, I didn't know what opks and bbt was 😆 I didn't know anything! You've got this. And we are all rooting for you and here every step of the way with you.

I'm not too bad thanks. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Nausea has improved a lot and appetite has started to come back. Still very tired though, but I can handle that. Had a scan on Sunday and saw it and its heartbeat. It was a very surreal experience.

Hoping the next thread will be a very lucky thread with lots of bfps and good news for us all 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

GreenApplesYo · 13/01/2021 14:05

@AMS19 I am good thanks. Back on furlough after spending December at work. But at least it's warm at home (office is a badly converted barn and is always freezing). Being home means it's easy to stay away from covid too, so not complaining although it was nice seeing my colleagues in Dec.

Pregnancy is going OK. I don't have any symptoms now except for tight trousers, I look like I've eaten all the cakes. It's not elegant haha 🙂

We'll all be throwing whole heaps of baby dust at you!

DrS44 · 13/01/2021 14:05

@AMS19 I'm having a bit of a nightmare this cycle! I'm CD 24 with no peak yet! But all the signs of ovulation! Driving me mad 🤣 xxx

AMS19 · 13/01/2021 14:18

@PowerOfFlowers I'm really hoping my cycle slips back into its perfect 27 days with CD13 ovulation! Unlikely though 😂😂 this period is strange, I know I can't get pregnant so am just waiting around wasting time. I'm using this period to eat healthy and take some additional supplements so it doesn't feel totally wasted! 9 weeks is super exciting. Well done!! Great news on the positive scan too! Tomorrow should have been my NHS scan which makes me SO sad!

@GreenApplesYo how exciting! So glad baby is growing. Being safe at home is definitely the right answer and keeping you and baby warm is definitely the way forward

@DrS44 what a bummer!!! Whay is your longest cycle pre this one?

OP posts:
Dex1521 · 13/01/2021 14:19

@DrS44 that OPK looks promising! And I was thinking the same thing about the thread ending - you'll have to get some good names thought up as the ones before Christmas were so funny 😂 (no pressure 🤣)

DrS44 · 13/01/2021 14:25

@AMS19 longest was 37 days but that included a 5 day withdrawal bleed, and last cycle was 28... so not sure what's happening! Hopefully something soon 🙈

@Dex1521 hah no pressure at all! I feel like we need something like BFP Luck of the Irish, English, welsh etc etc... 🤣🤣 I'll think of something... xx

PowerOfFlowers · 13/01/2021 14:54

@AMS19 Be kind to yourself tomorrow and if you are eating normally, treat yourself to something lovely ❤️

GreenApplesYo · 13/01/2021 16:00

@DrS44 I like the luck of the Irish idea 🙂I did one of those ancestry DNA tests recently because my Mum is into family history and asked if I would. I came out with 43% Irish DNA (Irish grandparents). I have an Irish surname too... Not sure if this is enough to make me honorary Irish hehe probably not, but will add my bonus 43% worth of Irish luck into the thread anyway 🙂every little helps.

That last opk was looking more encouraging btw 🙂

DrS44 · 13/01/2021 16:05

@GreenApplesYo haha brilliant! Yes you are one of us now 💚 we claim everyone 🤣 if you've Irish grandparents you can get an Irish passport by the way 😉 will help with the queues when you go on hols again 😅👏🏻 and you've got "green" in your name on here so you're basically Irish 🤙🏼

Yes it's looking better - might try one again! I've not had much to drink so I'll try in awhile end see what, if anything, has happened xxxx

GreenApplesYo · 13/01/2021 17:12

@DrS44 yay it's nice being claimed! Actually my Dad got his Irish passport recently so I was considering it too. It would be so handy for travel in Europe and keep a lot of doors open! It would be nice to have more options for countries to work in as well. I bet the number of Irish passport holders is going to double in the next few years!

Keep us updated with how the next opks go. Hope they keep going in the right direction x

Dex1521 · 13/01/2021 17:33

@GreenApplesYo would definitely consider the Irish passport. We went to turkey in 2019 I have an Irish passport but OH has a British even though we are both northern Irish - he got stopped and checked when we arrived in turkey and they just let me straight through didn't check my visa or anything 😂 only reason I have a Irish passport is because my mum got me one since I was a child plus they're so much cheaper about £65 plus everyone loves the Irish 😂

Bells20 · 13/01/2021 18:19

@AMS19 so nice to hear from you. What a difficult time just waiting and will be thinking of you tomorrow, echo what someone else said (sorry can't remember who now) about doing something nice tomorrow if you can 💛 also agree with @PowerOfFlowers, you have been more helpful that I could even put into words when it comes to TTC, really learnt so much from you. I've also done the sneaky messaging while on a zoom call haha

@Dex1521 fantastic temp rises! Just gonna throw it out there, I don't think you'll last until 10dpo without testing 😜😂

@DrS44 that looks promising! Hopefully that peak is just around the corner!! @Emmgrem hoping same for you lovely and anyone else awaiting that peak opk🤞🤞

Dex1521 · 13/01/2021 18:29

@Bells20 honestly I'm surprised you all aren't placing bets on me to see if I can of can't last 😂 I'm gonna try really hard to last it's only a week today so trying to look at how close it is rather than how far away it seems 😂

AMS19 · 13/01/2021 19:16

Awww thanks @Bells20 I'm still hoping for mag leave lunches with you and @PowerOfFlowers I will just have a very little one! Xx

CardioQueen · 13/01/2021 19:20

Oh @AMS19 hello!! I've been thinking of you. Be gentle with yourself tomorrow. You have been through so much. It won't be too long now until you're able to start trying again - and they say you're even more fertile for a while, so that will be on your side ☺️ how are you finding you're coping atm? I am sending you lots of positive happy thoughts.

Yes, I found out a few days before Xmas - even though dr had said I didn't ovulate (confirmed by scan), AF didn't show up and a little part of me still thought I might have ovulated as I had lots of signs. And it was a BFP! I got sent off for blood tests and a very early dating scan though as it was all a bit baffling. I think I am 7+1 today and scan puts me at 6+4. I'm still very very cautious as it's early days still. Should anything happen, at the very least we know we can fall and that I am ovulating, so we are so pleased about that. I didn't come back on here until last week after my scan because I was too nervous.

@DrS44 OPK is getting stronger - I have everything crossed for you! 🤞🏼

The scabies are improving. He has now had 2 days worth of tabs and done the full body cream thing. We really don't know where he got them though 😕

AMS19 · 13/01/2021 19:32

@CardioQueen that is absolutely amazing. I'm so so happy for you!! You deserve this and I have everything crossed it will all turn out perfectly! But yes, being able to fall pregnant is great. I cant tell you how many people have said that to me since the miscarriage, to focus on the fact I CAN get pregnant. I'm definitely getting better each day. I have bad days and good days. Sometimes I can't sleep thinking about what could have been and laying there apologising to the baby for not looking after it and protecting it. Other days I feel fine and eager to crack on! I've told friends who knew I'm not trying again for a year as I can't cope with questions on how it is going and now wouldn't tell anyone until after 12 weeks! Sending you so much love and wishes xx

OP posts:
GreenApplesYo · 13/01/2021 20:02

@AMS19 it must be so hard. I've spent so much time imagining what mine will be like and what life will be like, things like the way they might look, the relationship they'll have with my parents, how they can play with my friends' kids. I think this is probably what most people do, it's impossible not to, it must be so difficult to have that cut short. I know you know this already really, but it was not and could not have been your fault. Glad you have the better days as well - just keep looking forwards 🙂xx

AMS19 · 13/01/2021 20:10

@GreenApplesYo I think it is even harder with your first but you keep thinking "will I ever be a mummy" which is so scary. I've made a plan with my husband on what we will do if we can't have children because I'm convinced there is something sinister wrong with me. I know chances are that isn't the case but my mind is unfortunately there now which is so sad! Xx
