Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@jessi60 yeah I’ve removed them for now but hopefully I will get my BFP soon and can follow them again haha as I’m dead nosey 🤣

Can’t believe you’re nearly 7weeks! That’s amazing only feels like yesterday you got that BFP! Keep us all updated and hope all goes well for you at the scan

Also meant to ask. Does/did anyone use the clesrblue digital OPK? I was thinking of getting one to use alongside the IC OPKs but I’ve heard stories of women only ever getting a flashing smiley then worrying they’re not ovulating/missed it? Any success stories with them here?

@Emmgrem - yes, we told our parents on Christmas day. Even though it was early, we thought it was nice to share happy news in these very weird times. Plus, we're in London and our family are all up North and we haven't seen them in months 😢 They were very happy for us. I cried. My Mum cried. Hah!
@Dex1521 I just used the easy@home opks and tested at 4pm from day 8 onwards, then 11am and 4pm from day 12 onwards.

7 weeks today! (Or 8, depends which app I look at!!) I feel better but still nap for an hour in the afternoon and still beige city when it comes to food! Early scan next Sunday so hopefully they'll be able to tell me how far along I actually am.

@Dex1521 don’t bother with the CB digital one, I used it the last 2 cycles! First cycle it work perfectly, a few days of flashing smileys and then the static peak smiley, which I also confirmed with the IC opks too!
I used it this cycle again, it gave me a few days of flashing smileys as usual and then got a peak smiley on CD15, but all my IC opks were telling me Low!
So absolute WASTE of money I was raging, cost me €40 and basically gave me wrong results!
I ovulated really late this cycle - somewhere between CD24-CD26 (wasn’t using IC’s after CD20 coz we were staying with family over Xmas and wanted to enjoy, so can’t pinpoint exact day).

But anyways, my point is it was totally wrong! 😢😢

Also @Dex1521 I know what you mean about celeb announcements! 😒 I’m in very too minds about it, obviously everyone has a right to announce their news the way they want, but I think announcements over social media are a bit inconsiderate, especially when you’ve such a big following, it could really be a trigger for someone watching! But then again it’s not up to them to be worried about how everyone else feels! 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’d never make an “announcement” having gone through it myself, just tell my close family & friends and leave it at that!

Do you follow Elle Darby? I saw her video and it actually made me so annoyed! 😂 she was talking about how stressful ttc was and how there was so much pressure on her etc etc, and she conceived in Cycle 2 after coming off pill? 😂 and I’m pretty sure it was actually Cycle 1 coz she was counting her first cycle as withdrawal one! I’m heading into Cycle 5? 😂 stuff like that annoys me! Best thing to do is unfollow! 😔

@positivitytree2020 don’t get me started I saw Elle Darby, Mrs hinch and a girl I used to work with all announce them on the same night. It was Mrs hinch’s announcement that sent me over the edge and into a rage - I can’t stand the woman to begin with tbh I don’t even know why I followed her, a friend told me she talked about fertility problems in a book she wrote yet she has fallen pregnant within 18months of having the first one, I’m trying not to judge her but I just feel like she isn’t being honest somewhere and it’s just all for show she also did a big love actually themed announcement over her Instagram story which if it upset me I’m sure 100’s of other women were also upset too, the thread Greenapples shared yesterday was helpful as so many others felt the way I did over it. So I’ve unfollowed them all and it’s helped so much already not seeing constant baby updates.

I’ve also decided my “announcement” (whenever that may be) won’t be going on social media as I know how hurtful it can feel so I’m going to just tell people who should know face to face.

I’m glad you said that about the clearblue so I’m going to stick with ICs I think work better than anything after reading reviews etc and seeing the price of them 😵

So decided I’m going to have a bit of time away from my phone during this cycle so today marks my first BBT reading of this cycle and later in the day going to start OPKs. Main reason I’m taking a step back is so I don’t become so obsessed with my temps or OPK readings and constantly asking questions which ultimately gets me more worried, and I’m hoping it’ll stop me googling stupid things too, that also get be worried. I feel a lot more relaxed this cycle so think it’s definitely going to help too. Fingers crossed for you all to get your BFP this month too 👶✨

@Dex1521 good luck for this cycle! Think it's a good idea to have a break from Google/mumsnet etc if it's making you more stressed. Google definitely makes it too easy to over think everything.

Here's my scan from today. Waiting on blood results but all fine with the baby so I think the bloods will most likely be fine. Measuring 13+4, seems to have gained 3 days from the 9wk scan haha!

Awww look at that @GreenApplesYo ☺️ So happy all is fine with the baby for you and 13+4 too! Time feels like it's gone quickly hasn't it? Were you allowed to bring your DP to the scan? I'm starting to get worried that my DP won't be allowed to come to my 12 week a month tomorrow. At the moment, it's ok here in London but with rising cases that can change 😬

Hey @PowerOfFlowers yes he was allowed in for the scan itself. Then had to go and wait outside while I had the blood done/quick follow up with the midwife. I did call them on Friday to check if he could come in and they said it would be fine, so worth calling ahead for reassurance? At the moment the guidance is that partners should be able to attend scans, but given the situation in London I guess that could change? I hope not.

I'm in Cumbria where we do have highish case numbers now. But the hospital seemed calm and everyone was super friendly and helpful (not saying they're not busy on the covid ward, just that it felt safe where I was which was great).

Had a nice day chatting to my Mum (who is almost silly with excitement), siblings and a couple of friends who have had their own babies recently.

Fingers crossed for more BFPs soon by the way 🙂 hope things work out for everyone else too xx

@GreenApplesYo utterly fantastic news, what a beautiful scan picture. You must feel so pleased! Lovely to hear everything's looking good! 13 weeks feels like it's gone in the blink of an eye but also super slowly at the same time strangely!

@PowerOfFlowers I know there was guidance announced recently stating that partners should be allowed to attend maternity appointments but I wonder whether this new lockdown will change things, I'm feeling slightly anxious about it now!

Sorry I've been in my little engagement bubble the last week🙈 which has been a great distraction in the TWW! 8dpo today and haven't given it much thought tbh until today. Don't think I've had any symptoms really, definitely wasn't symptom spotting at all but would have noticed if there was anything major🤷‍♀️ Def no implantation bleed or sore boobs anyway!

I think someone asked if I was going to keep ttc or leave it and start wedding planning. And I must admit, I really did think about focusing on the wedding and forgetting about TTC for the foreseeable...I quite like the idea of being child free on the wedding day lol but in the grand scheme of things, we are so keen to be parents and think we are ready now so we are going to keep trying and see what happens!🥰🤞

How is everyone?
I know this has been asked a billion times! But when do you ladies think i should test? I'm thinking wed (10dpo) or fri (12dpo) 😫 xx

@Foxl2222 that's exciting, I'd lost track of where everyone is so hadn't realised you were close to testing! sounds like it's been a relatively stress free TWW which is great! I would say test at 10dpo, I think you'll have a good chance of an accurate result then, but if negative defo test again a couple of days later. So my answer as a true POAS addict is both haha x

I'd test at 10dpo as well @Foxl2222 but mainly because I'm impatient! I did get a BFP at 9dpo, but I think it's more common to get it a couple days later from what I've seen on here.

I’ve no idea where I am this cycle, just waiting for AF! 😂 I ovulated way later than expected (I thought it was going to be nonovulatory cycle but my temps indicate otherwise) so likely missed my fertile period when DTD!
I stopped OPKs from CD20 coz we were staying with family over Xmas, and tbh just wanted a break from it! 🤷🏼‍♀️ And couldn’t DTD while we were there either! 😂

Here’s my graph, any insights as to when I ovulated are welcome! 😂 I think FF is putting it too early! I noted cramps in my Ovia App CD24 - CD26 if that helps! 😃

Don’t care about being pregnant this cycle I know I’m not coz I missed fertile period, but wouldn’t mind knowing where I’m at so I can see whether my LP has increased or not! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 @

Ooh @Foxl2222 - I would say 12dpo - only because that's when I tested 🤣 But also, I held off until then because I didn't want to do the whole line eyes thing and didn't want to be disappointed.
Hi @positivitytree2020 - I'm no expert and I'm also new to all this but I think you ovulated either the 24th or 28th. I'm sure someone else understands it better. But, look at your bbt climbing higher! Nice work!

Thanks @PowerOfFlowers! 😊 I had initially thought the 28th too, but I actually did an OPK that day coz we were back home and it was Low! 🤔 so thinking it was before that, hard to tell from my temps tho! 🤔😂

Ok so my frers arrived... wasn't expecting them until tomorrow! Ofcourse I couldn't resist! BUT I think we may have a squinter!!!!!! Would love to know your thoughts, as I know this could be my line eyes, or evap etc so don't want to get too excited!! Have attached a few pics in different lights xx

My first midwife appointment tomorrow morning has been cancelled because they don't have enough staff 😢 They said they'll call again to arrange another one which might be in two weeks time 😢

Oh no @PowerOfFlowers that's a shame! The booking in does feel like a first 'official step', it's annoying to have it postponed. How many weeks are you now? (sorry if you've mentioned this recently and I missed it).

If it makes you feel better, mine wasn't really that interesting haha! If you don't have any specific health concerns/circumstances I don't think it would matter which week they do it at really? But frustrating if you had specific questions you wanted to ask.

@positivitytree2020 oh sorry just seen your message too! I think it looks like you ovulated on cd22 with a fallback rise pattern in your bbt? Which would mean a 13 day LP by cd35 I think? Which is good 🙂

@Foxl2222 off the top of my head I think the CB how many weeks tests aren't as sensitive as the FRERs so it might be better to wait a few more days? Haha totally get the urge to keep POAS though.

By the way, you probably know this already but HCG levels tend to double over a 48hr period so you might not see a big change in the FRER tomorrow but it might be more obvious by Thursday?x
