Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@DrS44 fingers crossed 🤞 for you this cycle it’s so good you’re relaxed about it I feel a bit more relaxed too after all that squinting I don’t wanna be doing it again so might make it easier for me holding on to POAS until after 10dpo.

I wish I had a light AF this cycle has been a nightmare so heavy and so painful but it’s technically my first one since I was about 13 as I’ve only had a WD bleed so it’s expected

Glad you got back over and we’re able to spend it together! Couldn’t think of anything worse after the year we’ve had

@GreenApplesYo that's a brilliant story about how your parents found out! I was really worried about all the Xmas food & drinks if I fell so I've definitely been over indulging as a treat to myself. And because of AF too!

@DrS44 Glad you are feeling more relaxed this cycle. I've either got to try full on with OPKs or not at all and I can't decide!

@Dex1521 AF is rubbish isn't it. I've had no clotting and no headaches this time though which I'm taking as a healthy sign. Crossing my fingers for a textbook cycle this time for both of us!

@Foxl2222 how's your 2ww, any symptom spotting or are you trying to keep chilled?

3 dpo today, haven't given it a second thought- had the mother of all distractions- OH proposed yesterday morning!! 🙈🥰 so symptom spotting has temporarily been replaced with wedding spam😂😂
I'd say give me until about 7dpo, the novelty will have worn off and I'll be back to the craziness of it all!! 🙊

@Emmgrem yeah my headache and cramps have stopped after the first day and today is a lot lighter than when it started too. This morning I thought it had finished as it was just dark brown when I wiped but seems to be continuing for now. I’m CD 3 and last month AF had gone after 3 days so I kinda want her to stay a bit longer so it’s more textbook 😂.

I’m going to test this cycle with my premom OPKs but haven’t started temping or doing them yet going to wait a bit longer and start just before FF predicts my fertile window so probably about a week today I’ll start testing

I did my last clear blue digital this morning as I had one left over and got my 3+ 🤣 probably would of had a meltdown if it didn’t say that even though I’ve read they not the most accurate! 6 weeks today for me and it’s a week tomorrow until I get my other scan so just praying things work out okay. Xx

Is it normal to have a 3day AF? This is my second time since coming of the pill I’ve only had 3 days of AF - two days heavy and painful then a really light final day. I thought this cycle would’ve lasted longer but by this evening AF is no where to be seen 🤔

Update from me - been feeling very 🤢 from 3pm most days and so so tired but its ok - I'm meant to be feeling like this. I have my first midwife app next week too - eek!! And a private scan a week Sunday. I'll be 8 weeks (or 9, depends which app you look at). Not sure if I'll manage to stay up to see in the new year tonight, but I will give it a good go!

@PowerOfFlowers I’m feeling fine thanks. It concerns me a little that I feel okay though! My boobs are still sore. And I swear they won’t stop growing which isn’t ideal cause I have breast implants and did not want them any bigger. Like my zips on my sport bra keep popping open 😂 kind of terrified if they keep on growing!!
My midwife one isn’t until the 14th but should be 8 weeks by then.

Hi ladies!! Happy New Year! I spent last night catching up and glad all the pregnancies are going well ❤❤ we need some more BFPs though....😂
I've had a hellish time. Had to stay "pregnant" all over Christmas. I was meant to have surgery yesterday but after waiting all day it got cancelled. Back in today and got cancelled again! But ended up having a MVA procedure. It was absolutely awful, but I am so glad it has finally been done! Because I was so far gone it will take about 4 weeks to get negative tests, I'm now praying for BFNs! How times have changed.

Anyway, I hadn't seen any of your messages, was in a bubble, back read them all now. Thank you all so much for thinking of it. Please never worry about sharing good stuff, it makes me SO happy to see it. Hopefully in a few months I'll be back pregnant and can join in

Really hope the next few weeks are straightforward from a physical point of view, and that you have space to mend. @PowerOfFlowers that’s good to hear you had a three day AF too but strange thing happened to me today I went about 12hrs from around 4pm last night to about 4pm today I had no AF even when I wiped so I thought it had finished. But this evening it’s back again! Only light but heavy enough to need a pad 😑 no sure what’s happening really

Does anyone else get annoyed when someone is announcing their pregnancy with baby #2 or 3 and I feel like I can’t even have 1 😡 since starting ttc I can’t help but get unbelievably jealous of it just seems to happen so naturally for some people. I know you never understand someone else’s journey or struggles but I still get so jealous

Just popping in quickly to say happy new year! I'm making a conscious effort not to spend so much time on my phone while I'm on leave over Christmas so haven't been checking as regularly but glad to hear people are doing well.

@jessi60 I'm feeling the same as you, generally feel perfectly fine and barely a pregnancy symptom in sight! Can't help but worry about it but reassuring to have seen on various forums that some women just don't get as many symptoms eg nausea and things are still fine!

@AMS19 so glad to hear from you but my god what a horrible process, I'm so sorry you had to go through that especially over Christmas! Fingers crossed for the next few months the first you x

@GreenApplesYo thanks! Just feel like I never saw pregnancy announcements before ttc and now that we are ttc all I see is Pg announcements all over social media - I saw three last night!! I suppose I’m wanting what they’ve got so it’s really hard not too feel jealous. I’ll take a look at that thread thanks!!

@GreenApplesYo and yeah AF is gone finished on the 31st. I’m starting BBT and OPKs from Monday once I’m back to a routine wake up and working again

@Dex1521 I can see what you mean but personally I don't get jealous. Everyone has their own journey and I feel I'm at the very start of mine! I'm a true believer in everything happens for a reason so I try keep that in mind when I feel frustrated.

@AMS19 Sounds like you've been on a horrendous journey but staying positive which is lovely to hear. I don't even know what an MVA procedure is- I've never been into hospital before so the whole idea of the procedure involved whether it's MCs or labour terrifies me slightly. I've never so much as had a blood test in my life! You are so strong and brave to go through this Christmas with this hanging over you, I hope you still managed to enjoy the festivities and had support from your family or at least OH as I can't remember whether you had told them beforehand?
Looking forward to you coming back to join the ride again when you're ready 😘 We need all your wisdom

@Dex1521 Think it's totally normal to feel that way. Mrs Hinch's one got me because I watched it real time as just happened to be scrolling through stories so saw it all unfold and made me teary. I'm happy for her but also like 'oh wow I really want that' and how lovely it must have been to tell people at Xmas!

Oh and @Dex1521 I forgot to say, what happened to you with AF going away and then coming back randomly, has just happened to me!! CD5 there was nothing and today CD6 I went for a run and came back to AF having properly started up again! Bright red and everything.. so weird.
DH is most annoyed as he was hoping to DTD tonight haha

@Dex1521 I agree, I think it can be hard to see all these pregnancy announcements all over. But your time will come and it will be so worth it. If it’s getting too much for you, just remove them from your socials, like celebrity’s etc. You don’t want it to effect you too much. Sending you lots of love. You’ve got youth on your side and only on the beginning of your journey 🥰

@Emmgrem Yeah I told my parents purely because I couldn’t get away with not drinking alcohol over Christmas! Would of liked to wait longer but at the same time would like the support of my mam if I was to ever need it. We got a cute like baby elephant toy thing from the white company and it was all gift wrapped lovely from them. And just said I had an early Christmas present for them. She was totally clueless 🤣 and then just burst out crying bless her. She still keeps saying it doesn’t feel real. But then I showed her that scan photo from 5 weeks which is just a blob 😂 and she kept it under the Xmas tree the loon haha. I have my 7 week scan on Thursday so hoping everything is okay🤞🏼

@Bells20 It’s strange feeling fine isn’t it. I feel like a couple of weeks ago I was dead tired but okay at the minute. My boobs are deffo still sore though. I’m doing nightshift at the minute and normally don’t eat much during the night but I’ve been starving on these ones! Xx

@DrS44 you’re completely right! I’m only starting too and need to remember that. Every month that goes by just feels like a lifetime though but I’m sure it’ll get easier as months go on

@Emmgrem I swear we are cycle sisters 😂 so strange ours both stopped and started. Funny I went on a long dog walk (like 6miles) and when I got home that’s when I realised it had restarted. So maybe it’s to do with exercising that sort of “shakes” the last bit out 😂 I’m starting BBT and OPKs tomorrow for this cycle. I definitely feel a lot more relaxed and have got OH to hide the FRERs I had leftover Incase the psycho comes out again this cycle 😂
