Morning ladies, hope you all had a good weekend? Happy Mother’s Day for yesterday, thinking of those in all different circumstances, including those who have lost mums, those who have lost babies, and women like myself who so desperately want to be a mum 💞 I know it can be a tough day for many so I hope you all got through it okay! Xx
Thank you for sharing your contraception pasts with me, it has been really helpful. I’m hoping there won’t be any problems from being on the pill but I’ll probably mention it to GP next time we’re on the subject.
Hopefully TikTok is right about it all being a myth @AKcheer! You must be a week or so after ovulation, noticed any symptoms yet? Sorry to hear people are bombarding you with questions about having a baby, sometimes people are a bit insensitive or ignorant to what others might be experiencing. And it’s none of their business, especially those who you don’t like/don’t like you!! Oh and yes your life will definitely be okay, in fact it will be much more than okay! You will get the dream house and your time will soon come for a baby 💖 I know it’s hard but try to stay optimistic if you can, everything will fall into place one day.
@Rose2108 Aww I think it’s sweet that he was excited to tell his parents, how did it go? What were your parents reaction?! Thanks for sharing your experience with the pill, it’s reassuring that you’ve been successful and the same with your friends. Hopefully it doesn’t cause any problems for me 🤞🏼
@8LPS I think it makes sense to try and stay realistic, I feel positive overall but try not to symptom check and convince myself it has happened. But I told my partner that I don’t think we’re gonna be successful this month and he told me to stop being so negative!! Maybe I need to change my thought process with it? Should I be feeling more positive about it all? I thought I was generally quite optimistic but just hate the feeling of getting my hopes up for them to be shattered with AF or a BFN!
I’ve started tracking BBT for the past few days even though it’s not really the right time in my cycle, but I just wanted to get used to it and so far it has been okay. We’ll see how long it lasts! Wow you’re both troopers for using condoms for that long, I really don’t like them 🤣 my cycles have been regular with no problems at all so I’ve been really lucky in that area. Have been tracking with an app which has been really helpful and apart from last month they’ve all been very similar in terms of pain, heaviness and length.
Sorry to hear AF made an appearance ☹️ I’ve had the same where DTD has started it off, and it’s very annoying when our body makes you think it was just spotting then BAM the next day comes on full flow 👎🏼 I hope you get SA results soon so you can move forward with the next referral.. it’s okay to feel annoyed or upset, this group is to support each other so you can let out all of your frustrations! Getting drunk and having a laugh with hubby sounds like a fab way to enjoy the weekend, I hope you had the best time!!
Sorry to hear about the BFN @JLP256, isn’t it typical that AF comes on just after. It’s nice to hear that it’s come as a relief though, and I know it’s easier said than done but try not to stress about it all, it sounds like you’ve had a lot going on with moving and work so maybe you just needed things to settle before your time comes.
Remember girls, each month we’re one step closer to our BPF ☺️
Thanks as well for telling me about your past contraception, I’m gonna try not to worry about it because it sounds like lots of people have had no problems at all from it. I’m thinking if I don’t get BFP in the next couple of months then I’ll speak to my GP about where to go from here. Yes I’m in the TWW, only 4 days to go! It’s actually gone a lot quicker this month, I think because I convinced myself it hasn’t happened. But I’ll update you all if/when AF makes an appearance!
