Morning ladies, hope you all had a good weekend? Happy Mother’s Day for yesterday, thinking of those in all different circumstances, including those who have lost mums, those who have lost babies, and women like myself who so desperately want to be a mum 💞 I know it can be a tough day for many so I hope you all got through it okay! Xx

Thank you for sharing your contraception pasts with me, it has been really helpful. I’m hoping there won’t be any problems from being on the pill but I’ll probably mention it to GP next time we’re on the subject.

Hopefully TikTok is right about it all being a myth @AKcheer! You must be a week or so after ovulation, noticed any symptoms yet? Sorry to hear people are bombarding you with questions about having a baby, sometimes people are a bit insensitive or ignorant to what others might be experiencing. And it’s none of their business, especially those who you don’t like/don’t like you!! Oh and yes your life will definitely be okay, in fact it will be much more than okay! You will get the dream house and your time will soon come for a baby 💖 I know it’s hard but try to stay optimistic if you can, everything will fall into place one day.

@Rose2108 Aww I think it’s sweet that he was excited to tell his parents, how did it go? What were your parents reaction?! Thanks for sharing your experience with the pill, it’s reassuring that you’ve been successful and the same with your friends. Hopefully it doesn’t cause any problems for me 🤞🏼

@8LPS I think it makes sense to try and stay realistic, I feel positive overall but try not to symptom check and convince myself it has happened. But I told my partner that I don’t think we’re gonna be successful this month and he told me to stop being so negative!! Maybe I need to change my thought process with it? Should I be feeling more positive about it all? I thought I was generally quite optimistic but just hate the feeling of getting my hopes up for them to be shattered with AF or a BFN!

I’ve started tracking BBT for the past few days even though it’s not really the right time in my cycle, but I just wanted to get used to it and so far it has been okay. We’ll see how long it lasts! Wow you’re both troopers for using condoms for that long, I really don’t like them 🤣 my cycles have been regular with no problems at all so I’ve been really lucky in that area. Have been tracking with an app which has been really helpful and apart from last month they’ve all been very similar in terms of pain, heaviness and length.

Sorry to hear AF made an appearance ☹️ I’ve had the same where DTD has started it off, and it’s very annoying when our body makes you think it was just spotting then BAM the next day comes on full flow 👎🏼 I hope you get SA results soon so you can move forward with the next referral.. it’s okay to feel annoyed or upset, this group is to support each other so you can let out all of your frustrations! Getting drunk and having a laugh with hubby sounds like a fab way to enjoy the weekend, I hope you had the best time!!

Sorry to hear about the BFN @JLP256, isn’t it typical that AF comes on just after. It’s nice to hear that it’s come as a relief though, and I know it’s easier said than done but try not to stress about it all, it sounds like you’ve had a lot going on with moving and work so maybe you just needed things to settle before your time comes.

Remember girls, each month we’re one step closer to our BPF ☺️

Thanks as well for telling me about your past contraception, I’m gonna try not to worry about it because it sounds like lots of people have had no problems at all from it. I’m thinking if I don’t get BFP in the next couple of months then I’ll speak to my GP about where to go from here. Yes I’m in the TWW, only 4 days to go! It’s actually gone a lot quicker this month, I think because I convinced myself it hasn’t happened. But I’ll update you all if/when AF makes an appearance!

BumbleB1 · 15/03/2021 12:05

Sorry ladies that’s a long one, it was morning when I started writing it..... 🤣🤣

8LPS · 15/03/2021 17:55

@JLP256 - hello cuddle buddy! I’m sorry AF arrived for you as well... and late as well! Lateness can feel so misleading can’t it! How long have you been trying for now? Definitely feeling the same as you - wondering why it just hasn’t happened yet. But it’s important for us to remember that there are soo many couples who don’t conceive within one year, and it’s pretty normal/common. I just wish we weren’t one of those couples though!
How’s the moving going? Are you moving far from where you were before?
Aw thanks so much! I’m so glad I can rant on here. Feel sorry for my poor husband because he only has me. I’d like it if he had someone else, like a peer, to rant to cus I know how helpful it is for me! It absolutely is emotionally draining, and I seem to have lost my mojo at the mo. Eating more junk food, haven’t exercised for a few days. But I’m hoping to get back to it from tomorrow.

@BumbleB1 - that’s so lovely of you to say! I couldn’t help but feel a little twinge of sadness when I went on social media and saw people around my age who’ve had kids paying tribute to them, and thanking their kids for making them a mummy 😣 Hope you had a good weekend? Did you get up to much?
It is so hard to know whether to be positive or negative or realistic isn’t it?? I am definitely more negative or realistic. But when I was on Seven Seas pre-pregnancy supplements they were giving me proper pregnancy symptoms - so my symptom spotting was off the charts!!! Now that I’m off those type of tablets I feel way more balanced about it all - mentally and physically! I really try hard to adopt a “go with the flow” / “if it happens, it happens and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t” approach. Really really understand how you feel with having too much optimism. When I talked to the doctor the other day, he told me that relaxing is key 😳 I was like - I’m tryyyyingggg 😩😂
Haha I’m so glad BBT is going well so far! I find it so hard to remember as soon as I wake up cus I’m still a zombie 😂
Sorry, I can’t remember how long you’ve been trying for now?
Aw thank you! We had a lovely time but we didn’t get drunk in the end but 4 G&Ts helped me feel a bit more relaxed 😁 next month if it doesn’t happen for us again we’ve said we want to get a charcuterie box delivered and we can pig on that cus apparently when you’re preggo you can’t have cured meats! 😩😂 Did you have a good weekend??
PS - lol it always takes me at least an hour to write a reply!!! 🙈😂

8LPS · 15/03/2021 17:56

@JLP256 OH MY GOD that’s meant to say CYCLE buddy - NOT cuddle buddy!!!!!! 😂😂

jules5232 · 15/03/2021 19:43

@8LPS Hahaha I like cuddle buddy more. I read that and got such a good laugh!!

JLP256 · 15/03/2021 20:23

@8LPS hahaaa I knew exactly what you meant but thank you for the laugh 😂😂😜

Been trying 10 months now. Most of the time I’m fairly positive (although I have a lottt of rants to my husband haha) but then the last few months especially I’ve got my hopes up in the TWW and then AF comes and I’m so disappointed! Feeling ok now, I’m booked in for a mini fertility assessment at a clinic near me so we’ll see how that goes.

I’ve moved from south London to north London so bit of a change! So nice to have had that to focus on what with lockdown and TTC. Hope you’re feeling ok!

@BumbleB1 thank you, I found yesterday harder than I expected so that’s lovely of you to say 💕

AKcheer · 16/03/2021 08:51

Hey guys how you all doing?

@Rose2108 Ahh thats exciting! Did you yell the parents this week!! I bet they were SO happy!!
I know right the housing market is so crazy here and everything is so overpriced!! I know it's so weird....i literally despise them! Thank you for your positive words!! I will try and think positive!!

@8LPS You're so right!! I dont think it will fall through though...they had so many offers but a better one will come along i hope!! Fingers crossed....just trying to find my dream house here lol! House is taking ages, baby taking ages....it's all a waiting game haha!
That's amazing about your house!! it was just meant to be!!
Some people aren't sensitive about it and some people are such haters and so jealous....especially in the family! It's crazy. I was saying to my dad it feels like they are waiting for me to announce somethings wrong so they can laugh!!
I'm so sorry AF came bloody early. That's the worst thing :( Oh no with your progesterone have they told you what your level is and how it can be improved? I'm hoping this is something they can fix maybe with medication or there is something they can do to help. Stay positive and have a good conversation with the GP and ask LOTS of questions. Hopefully you're hubbys SA comes back ok. My hubbys came back last week, all was ok but took like 10 days to come back.
Relax...enjoy and you get smashed! We've been restricting ourselves so much so sometimes we need to step back and just enjoy! Jurassic Coast looks amazing so you'll have such a good time there.
You haven't been negative. This is such a difficult journey and we are all trying to be there for each other and we wil be successful!!

@JLP256 I'm sorry AF arrived for you too. Hate when it comes late...it's that whole i'm going to keep you waiting but HAHA im back (well this is what i feel my period does lol. It will happen

Hey All

Hope your all doing well.

Just thought I'd update you all on my story.

I took a pregnancy test last week which was 3 weeks after procedure (local anaesthetic) and it was still very much positive. Called the hospital and asked me to come in for a scan and bloods today!

So the scan revealed possible cysts and/or left over tissue therefore again the procedure didn't work 😢🙈

I've been booked in for surgery on Thursday (general anaesthetic this time) to get the D&C and the 'remains' sent off for testing.

In addition there looks like a possibility of a cyst on my left ovary which they are going to check out while I'm under anyway!!

So yeah my 2021 went from amazing, excitement to a total shit show in under 3 months 😔😔😔 Here was me getting my hopes up for AF on Thursday not surgery!!

Sorry to be a total downer on here but had to 'let it out' and knew guys wouldn't mind me doing it on here xx

AKcheer · 17/03/2021 09:41

Hi @Lynne425

Gosh I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through. I feel this has been a massive roller coaster for you and I can’t imagine how difficult all of this is!
I wonder why they didn’t pick up on the cyst beforehand? Hopefully it’s hot a big cyst and if it needs to be removed they can do that quite quickly.
I hope your surgery goes ok tomorrow. Please keep us updated

Don’t apologise. You’re going through some bloody crap so vent all you want. We’re here to listen to you and support you!!
I’m hoping that all this will be solved once and for all and then you can start focusing on yourself. ❤️❤️

OP posts:
Rose2108 · 17/03/2021 12:20

@Lynne425 I am so sorry to hear about what a difficult time you have had, it seems so unfair. I hope you can get proper support and answers, and I hope you aren't in any pain. Please do come and vent and we will all support you as much as we can! Xx

@8LPS Cuddle buddy made me LOL!! I was actually quite proud of the DIY haircut you know!! It will do for now anyway. I don't know why, every now and then (maybe first thing in the morning or at night), I can't help but creep into the scary forums and read all the awful things. Why do I do this?! It's like this sick addiction I can't help it!! I know reading it will probably make me feel worse, but I also just want to read one more post.... Haha. I think in five weeks time when I reach the 12 week mark, I will relax a bit more and feel more comfortable about the chances of this little ball of cells.

So sorry your AF came, and early too! With your progesterone, was this the day 21 test? Did you definitely have the test 7 days after ovulation? I actually went on day 26, knowing I had ovulated on day 19 because there was no point going 2 days after!! This test is not 100% accurate for these reasons. Hopefully you can get some support and answers on this, hope you aren't worrying too much xx

Also we went to the Jurassic coast a few years ago it was beautiful! I remember an amazing seafood place overlooking a harbour!!

@JLP256 why do tests always trigger AF! Hate that. Sounds like you had a stressful month last month anyway. Hoping your cramps have eased.

@BumbleB1 Glad to hear you have tracked BBT! I found it so helpful! Fingers crossed for you, just a few more days to wait! Keeping my fingers crossed for you too @AKcheer!!

Doesn't seem right for me to be posting about pregnancy stuff at the moment! But I am fine, currently 7 weeks, thank you all and I love keeping up with all your TTC updates! Sending you so much luck, I am hoping good news is round the corner for you all xxx

Lynne425 · 17/03/2021 18:36

Don't be silly @Rose2108 you show us all it can happen and give us all hope!! I love hearing your updates!!

Sorry for my pitty party last night - had to vent it out somewhere!!

Now to add to the confusion AF appeared tonight literally 28 days after my last procedure! So at least I know my body is back to regular cycles!! Roll on the next 28 days to start the all rolling (been advised to wait a cycle until we start trying to give my womb a chance to recover) however there is nothing to stop be getting pregnant this cycle seemingly!!

My blood tests all came back clear and they said the pregnancy hormone was soo low they are more than convinced that it's not a cyst and just a bit of leftover tissue but said to come in for surgery tomorrow for a D&C and that will completely clear out my womb - 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

Tabbycat92 · 17/03/2021 18:52

Hi ladies, hoping I can join you all!
I'm 7dpo on cycle 6 of ttc baby no.2
Using LH strips and bbt to track my progress.
Stupidly depressed myself today by doing a IC at 7dpo... Obviously bfn... When will I learn 😅
Desperate for this to be the month, as it'll mean I'll have my baby 1 month before my 30th birthday. I always wanted to have had two children by 30

8LPS · 18/03/2021 07:37

Silly autocorrect had me looking like a right creep! 🤣🙈 sorry @JLP256 haha!
I’m the same as you - it’s during the TWW when all the excitement happens...but it’s also the time when I’m most hopeless as well cus I don’t believe it will happen yet again. Glad you’re feeling ok, and great news to hear that you have a fertility assessment booked! Keep us posted on how it goes!
The move sounds so exciting! I used to live in North London for a year, many years ago when I was studying! I lived in Hendon and absolutely loved it! Good luck with the unpacking and making your new house a home! 💕🏡 will you make many changes or is it all ready for you?

@AKcheer - absolutely! Trust that this is meant to be because there’s another house that WILL come along 🤞 I always believe that about house searching. Bless you, this definitely is a waiting game - although it sure doesn’t feel like a game 🙄😒
No people aren’t sensitive for some reason. I’m lucky my family don’t ask about kids, but my in-laws have, and when they first came to our house when we’d just bought it, they made jokes about us filling our spare bedrooms with children. Like, get lost! Get a life!!! Unfortunately it seems to be only women who are making these jokes - which is weird cus I think they should be the most sensitive/understanding!! It WILL happen for you. It’s just talking a little longer than wanted, but it’s on the cards for you and everything will fall into place!
You’ll be a little bit further on in your TWW now, how are you feeling? Hoping it’s your month this month!!!

@Lynne425 - bloody hell, what a literal rollercoaster you have been on and I’m so sorry to see it 😔 I’m so glad they think it’s unlikely to be a cyst, and that AF has brought some normality to your cycle again! Weird about the positive pregnancy test, but glad they’ll be checking you over to make sure you’re ok. Keep us posted, and good luck today!

@Rose2108 - haha it is a sick addiction isn’t it?? I’m sure that the 12 week mark will give you so much more relief - how are you getting on with keeping your mind occupied in this time in between?
Oh amazing, if you remember the name of the seafood place I’ll see if it’s anywhere near where we’ll be! Thank you!
Pleeeease do not feel like that, you are literally giving me some hope that this could happen for me, and I love chatting with you! I’m so excited for you and I look forward to reading your updates!

@Tabbycat92 - welcome to the crew! How are you? Aw that’s lovely, how old is your little one?
I’m so hoping this is your month. Are you normally ok with keeping your mind occupied during the TWW?
If there’s anything I’ve learned about making plans for myself, it’s that they’ve never actually happened 😂😩 when I was a teenager I really wanted to be married at 24/25 (no idea why haha) and have two kids by the time I was like 31ish, and here I was - married at 27, now nearly 33 and no kiddos! 🤣🙈 If you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take to conceive your first?

Girls long story short, but I had a bit of a misunderstanding about my day 21 bloods! I thought they were low, but they’re not! Another doctor called me back a couple of days ago after I asked them to explain my results. And she said that the normal progesterone level is 80 and below.. ? (Sorry, my memory is crap). And my level was 91 or 92.
She really confused me though because she asked me if I definitely had the blood test at the correct time of the month, to which I said I think so because I find it difficult to know when I’m ovulating. But then she also said she doesn’t see my high progesterone level as a problem! So then why would she ask me if I definitely had the test on the correct day?! I think I had the blood test 6DPO.
Because she had confused me, but then weirdly said that im fine, I just finally asked her - is my body doing what it should be doing? And she said yes. Di you have any thoughts about this, and my level?
My husband’s SA still isn’t back. He’s been told to call again next week. It’s so bloody annoying because it’s been 2 weeks now, when they said it’d take 10 days! 😩 I get that they must be soo busy but wish the doctor would just hurry up!!

Tabbycat92 · 18/03/2021 07:44

Hi @8LPS things never go as planned do they! My little boy will be 3 in May, I was really lucky with him and it only took us two months of trying, I think that's why I'm finding it hard this time that it's taking longer.
Yeah, luckily I'm pretty busy to keep me distracted. We are renovating our home, which is taking a lot of work. And I not long ago got a managerial job, so that's keeping my mind distracted alot 😅
Fingers crossed for you too! How long have you been trying?

BumbleB1 · 18/03/2021 12:59

Hahaha cuddle buddy! @8LPS Love a good autocorrect 🤣 I thought I was missing out on something! I was the same, so many people on my social media announced pregnancies as well which was tough, I also have a couple of close friends who have lost their mums so it’s always sad thinking about them too, I don’t know what I’d do without my mum 😔 I went to see her on Sunday which was lovely, also did a doorstep visit to other half’s mum which was nice. And a trip to the garden centre, not much else to do!

Oh wow no wonder you changed, that doesn’t sound nice at all, are you taking something else instead now? I’m on seven seas and luckily haven’t had any of that. It’s so hard to have that mentality, some months are easier than others, I think after the false hope last month I’ve been more realistic (or negative according to other half!) this month. Hahahh love being told to relax.. not 🤣 it’s funny because with my job I’m often teaching patients relaxation skills and yet it can be hard to take your own advice 🙈 Lol I’m the same but I’ve been doing it when I first wake up then I get a bit more sleep before I have to get up for work! So I’m on cycle 6, AF due tomorrow 😬 ooh that sounds like a fab plan if it doesn’t happen this month, got to make the most of the things we’ll have to sacrifice when our time comes!!

So does that mean that high progesterone levels isn’t necessarily a bad thing? All sounds a bit confusing to me, probably because I haven’t looked into getting tests done yet, but it’s good to hear that she said your body is doing what it should be. How do you feel about it all? Hopefully husband’s SA results come back soon 🤞🏼

@JLP256 hope you’re doing okay now, Mother’s Day is a tough one for so many people 💞

@AKcheer yes thank you, I’m so glad I joined! How long has the group been going on for? Great news about your husband’s SA results, where do you go from there? I haven’t looked into any tests but may need to soon. Aw I’m sorry to hear you have people like that around you, don’t blame you for being done with them, no one needs that in their life.. BYE toxic people!! AF due tomorrow, I’m usually late so will see what happens, trying not to think about it too much 🙈 hope this cycle is the one for you!!

Hey @Lynne425 so sorry to hear what you’ve been going through 😣 the group is here to support each other so please don’t feel bad for letting it out at all 💞 sounds like things are becoming a bit clearer now? Pleased to hear AF is back, hopefully that has helped with how you’re feeling. I don’t know if it’s any help to hear but my sister in law went through something similar, it took longer than expected to get her BFN and she also had left over tissue, but she’s now pregnant and due in June with my niece! Glad they’re checking you over, hope it all goes okay.

Thanks @Rose2108 all went okay so I’m hoping to get into the swing of testing properly when AF has been and gone, due tomorrow 😬 I think it’s lovely to hear your journey, it gives us hope and positivity, please keep us updated if you feel comfortable to 💞

Hi @Tabbycat92 👋🏼 welcome to the group! I’m quite new to it, and think it’s brilliant to have a group of people to reach out to, so I hope you get as much from it as I do! How are you getting on with BBT? I just started to get used to it but AF due so will try properly next cycle.

AKcheer · 18/03/2021 14:14

Hey guys!
Awww thanks @Rose2108 I’m glad your feeling well too!

@Lynne425 how confusing right? But at least your AF came. So it sounds like everything should be ok! I hope your surgery goes well today!!

@8LPS 100% just have to be patient with it just like everything these days haha! I know it’s so frustrating it really is. And it is women a lot of the time. I think a lot of them like to show off about they’ve got kids or maybe they conceived super easy and they end up being so spiteful about it. It’s so annoying. I’m 10dpo today so a few more days to wait. I don’t feel anything out the ordinary either so I don’t know should I have felt implantation cramps or something yet because I bloody ain’t!! How are you feeling?

Hey and welcome @Tabbycat92 It’s such a hard process isn’t it! I never test early now it just breaks me tbh so I don’t bother! I wish things could happen when we plan but don’t know why they don’t!! How are you feeling today?

@BumbleB1 I honestly can’t remember how long this group has been going on for I want to say ages hahaha!! I know it’s so irritating but we need to learn to ignore right!! Ahh yo it AF due tomorrow? How are you feeling? Hopefully AF doesn’t come. You has any weird symptoms or anything? I’m behind you, I’m 10dpo due AF in a few days 😫 I hope it doesn’t come!! Ooh and the SA, my hubby just spoke to the doctor and he sorted it!!

Tabbycat92 · 18/03/2021 14:20

Hi @AKcheer I'm OK, very crampy though which is strange for 8dpo. So I'm hoping it'd a good thing and not AF coming ridiculously early

@BumbleB1 I'm getting to grips with BBT, but not 100% sure on what I'm looking at. I've found FertilityFriend has been very useful for tracking bbt

Lynne425 · 18/03/2021 15:26

Afternoon All

So currently in recovery in hospital - the surgeon is 99% sure it's def all gone this time.

So what I thought was AF wasn't - it was my body trying to get rid of what's been there!!

The surgeon said from my scans etc I may have had a molar pregnancy (very rare) so the tissue is being sent away for tests and they have asked for results to be urgent! That's why initially they thought it was a cyst.

Basically if it is molar an left alone the tissue could still grow and could turn cancerous!! Would mean follow up blood tests etc for another 6 months too which I just hope it's not.

However I'm trying to be positive and hope that it was just leftover tissue and now it's removed I can maybe move on xx

Rose2108 · 22/03/2021 10:27

Morning ladies. So glad to see the sun shining; how is everyone doing? I am struggling to be honest with lockdown... I just feel like time is passing so slowly, I am just being really lazy and can't seem to motivate myself to do much (also partly because I feel pretty exhausted and nauseas a lot). I did some gardening on Saturday, and all the usual laundry and tidying up at home, and on Sunday it was just a day of TV and eating !!! Can't wait to get back to the office, back to socialising, shopping, eating out.... anything!!!

I can't believe that I have finally had my letter through and my first midwife appointment is a TWELVE WEEKS!! My scan is the same week. I'm really gutted TBH! It is the strangest feeling, just don't feel excited at all at the moment. The first 12 weeks are really an odd time, after the initial BFP excitement the anxiety kicked in bad and I just feel like I am in limbo and want to talk to someone for reassurance, but there is no one to talk to until your first midwife appt.

Anyway, enough moaning, time to get excited about your TTC journeys! Any updates?

@Lynne425 such good news the surgeon is so confident this time. I had never heard of that. How are you feeling today? I am really hoping you get the results you want from the tests.

@AKcheer Did AF arrive? @BumbleB1, what about you?

@Tabbycat92 Ah bless you it is so tempting to do those tests when they are in the house isn't it !

@8LPS thanks lovely. It is a weird time. I re-potted all my house plants at the weekend and planted loads of seeds for the summer! Had a bit of a clear out of the wardrobe and planned some DIY in the next few months... just trying to fill my time really. I also started to watch a new show on Netflix called The One, seems quite interesting so far... Hope you are doing well and had a lovely weekend x

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 11:11

@Rose2108 luckily the cramps were a good thing, as I got a positive at 9dpo! Now got a nice strong line at 12dpo 😊

jules5232 · 22/03/2021 14:48

@Lynne425 I'm so sorry you have had to deal with all of this and how its constantly changing on you. Hopefully they are wrong about the molar as they were about the cysts and it's all just a bit left over causing some confusion. How are you feeling today??

@Rose2108 I know what you mean about the constant mood changes from excited to not. I will finally hit 12 weeks on Thursday and while I am not as nervous as earlier (staying off any message boards and google has helped tremendously) it is really hard to stay present with it all. Have you considered getting a private scan any more?

@Tabbycat92 welcome to that chat! I hope you get your good news soon!! The wait can be brutal and bring up so many doubts but having this group definitely helps keep a positive outlook. What did you get a positive line on???

@KerryW87 How have you been doing??

Tabbycat92 · 22/03/2021 14:59

@jules5232 on an easy@home strip test 😊

8LPS · 22/03/2021 23:27

Ohhh hey cuddle buddies! 🤣🤣 hope you are all doing well and had a good weekend!

@Tabbycat92 - I totally get you, I do wish plans just worked out for us. It’s hard to keep thinking that this, and everything else happens for a reason..
Exactly! I can imagine why you’re thinking that because your first pregnancy came quickly that you’d hope this one would as well! I have everything crossed for you that it happens real soon, and that you have your dream come true that you have 2 before 30! 🤞 I’ve just seen that being crampy is unusual for 8DPO - I hope this is good news rather then your body just acting strange!!!
Wow that’s amazing!! What kind of renovations do you have going on at the mo?? Bet it’s so fun designing your home! (And a tad stressful too, but well worth it in the end!)
Unfortunately I recently hit the one year mark with TTC. I knew this would be hard, but I really didn’t think I’d be here a year later and still trying 🙁
OMG OMG OMG ignore all of that - just seen you got a BFP!!! Congratulations!!! How are you feeling?? 😍

@BumbleB1 - haha yah, my favourite autocorrect is “ducking” 😂😂
Oh it’s awful to think about those who have lost their Mums. I get so weird about talking about death that I avoid any conversation that’s mildly related to it if my parents bring it up! lol avoidance is my middle name! Aw that’s so nice you did a doorstop delivery, bet they were well made up 🙃
Oh god it really wasn’t nice being on them tablets! So glad you’re getting on with them ok, it’s hit and miss for different people isn’t it! Yeah, I swapped to Conceive Plus, and have been taking these for nearly a month now! They had absolutely glowing reviews about people only taking them for a month or two after trying for so long, and then they magically fell pregnant lol I am fully aware that may not happen to me, but it didn’t stop me from ordering them straight away! 😁🙊 they were straight in my basket! 🤣
Omg we have something in common! I work in mental health so I’m also teaching patients how to relax and challenge negative thinking etc 😂 I feel your pain! I have always said that it’s worse when you know how to do it all yourself! I’m good at telling others what to do when I should really be bossing myself around haha!
Did AF make an appearance?? 🤞🤞 it’s a no show!
Honestly I’m feeling a little confused about the progesterone issue. But she confirmed that I’m ok, so I’m trying not to worry. We’re both just annoyed that my husband’s SA results aren’t back yet. I can tell he’s getting impatient, and that isn’t like him at all. He’s nervous that he has “lazy” sperm 😒 (Chandler from Friends has lazy sperm and he is convinced that he has a similar issue for some reason - even though Chandler is a fictitious character on a TV show 🙈). My husband’s not usually an anxious person but this is kind of getting to him. He is a little overweight, and has a HUMONGOUS sweet tooth, so he’s worried that is playing a part. But then he will stress-eat to soothe himself. It’s a bit of a vicious circle 🙁

@AKcheer - hey hey, how is everything going? House searching/everything else? Did AF come? Sorry I don’t know whether you should have felt implantation cramps..? But I do know that implantation bleeding can tend to happen around the time AF is due. Not sure if that helps, sorry I couldn’t be more help!
People who gloat about having kids when they don’t know the other person’s situation are soo pathetic. It says more about them than it does about us! they really do need to just focus on their own lives and stop being so obsessed with what we’re doing with our lives 🤣
I’m ok thank you. Not gonna lie, but hitting the one year mark of TTC really did hurt more than I thought it would. I just think back to this time last year when we were so excited to start this journey, and we’re still here in the same position. But heyho, we’re trying to plod on as best we can!
I feel like you’re the group gym bunny so wanted to see what you think about this if that’s ok!: so basically I have a very weak core, and I have low back pain and so I regularly do ‘strong core/back/abs workouts’ using YouTube. I recently thought to myself about whether I should be doing these during the TWW cus the exercises are usually pretty strenuous. When I Googled it, there were mixed reviews so I’ve decided to just stay away from core/back exercises during the TWW. I just wanted to know - do you stay away from core/abs work during the TWW? Or have you heard anything about this?

@Rose2108 - the sun shining is making me feel soo good too 🙂 glad you’re enjoying it too! Aw bless you! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Your body is going through some crazy changes now so feeling unmotivated is probably your body’s way of telling you to rest up. Do you feel sleepy and tired easily, or are you generally just feeling unmotivated? (TV and eating sounds perfect by the way 😁)
Sorry I didn’t quite understand what you wrote - is your first midwife appointment IN another 12 weeks, or AT 12 weeks? Either way though, it feels like you shouldn’t be waiting so long! Damn Covid!!! I’m disappointed that there isn’t some kind of telephone service that you can call if you have any concerns or queries. Because normally, pre-Covid (please correct me if I’m wrong!) you would have gone in for an ultrasound already..? I can definitely see why you feel upset about that 🙁
Ah, a spring clean sounds great! Love decluttering! I’m getting ready for my garden furniture delivery which will be this weekend. I can’t wait! We went carpet shopping this weekend too so that’s something to keep us occupied as well.
I’m always wanting to hear about other TV shows I can engross myself in, Ill check out The One when I need something to watch! I recently starting watching A Handmaid’s Tale and I am HOOKED AND OBSESSEDDDD. I really don’t know why I hadn’t watched it sooner - it’s brilliant, but very very messed up.

@8LPS yes I got my BFP! So pleased 😌 I'm achey, tired, nauseaus and hungry haha.
Renovating certainly is stressful. For example our kitchen is coming in just over a week, and this is the state of the room 😅 everything is constantly covered in a thick layer of dust, and we have no comfortable usable space. Also every weekend/holiday is used to do DIY, BUT it'll be worth it in the end!

Hi Everyone how are you?
I'm feeling mega down. This was month 8 in trying and AF has come this morning. Started spotting yesterday so I just knew. I really thought this month was going to be a lucky month but it just wasn't. I'm feeling so down. I just don't know why it's not working. I've never even got a hint of a line so I just dread to think something is wrong.
Husbands SA was all ok. When i went for my day 3 and day 21 bloods, GP said all was ok. I don't know whether to book private tests in or try anything else. Any advice? Anything to try? Just feel like this is never going to happen and i feel really guilty.

@Lynne425 I hope you're feeling better? I hope you're out of hospital now

@8LPS Have you hit the 1 year mark now? What's your POA now? You going to docs or anything? Do you just have normal periods and still no luck? Aww i'm happy to be the gym bunny! So from CD1 of period until a couple days before ovulation I'll do proper exercise like normal and quite streneous. After ovulation I will relax a bit....so for example i won't do skipping as i've heard that increased body temp and strenous exercise can really affect implantation. Even core - i try not to doo too much during that time but I will do yoga for core and yoga for back as it's a light version! I hope this helps :)

@Rose2108 how are you feeling? I bet you can't wait to go for your scan! Are you going to have a early one? Send me some babydust please wahhhhh
