Hey all, hope you're having a good weekend.
@RedLippyK8 - I'm so sorry to see your MIL has deteriorated :( I hear you that it's stressful on a relationship, but as long as you're supportive of each other it'll be ok. Plus what is happening with your MIL is an absolutely awful situation so there will be some tension to a degree... try to take care of yourselves as much as poss.
Oh, and as for keeping up with comments, I've just started looking at the messages on my laptop instead of on my phone cus I found it tooo overwhelming! And I now open up a Word document so I can see the both the messages and the Word doc at the same time lol! Otherwise, there IS no keeping up for me haha!
Yes, I'm from the UK
LOL I feel you there! I don't know how many times I had to Google search all these acronyms when I first joined. DH = darling husband lol I got that from someone on here, can't remember who.
Bless you, I have a mate who has Coeliac! It was so tough for her before diagnosis, and I remember her being in a lot of pain! How long have you had it for??
@Akcheer – Haha too right! It's so weird (sorry but this is going to be TMI) – a few days ago I literally felt like the blood was going to come out, and I felt like crap. But then it totally went away (apart from the booby tenderness) until today – again it feels like I'm on the edge of AF! I'm currently 12dpo, AF due on Tuesday, so am just waiting..... This month, I feel totally different, like I'm not waiting for AF to come – I'm waiting for it not to come – I'm probably getting my hopes up again though, but I'll see I guess. DH is going tomorrow to get a pg test cus this month, unlike others, I feel like I want to test and put ourselves out of our misery. (Plus I want some alcohol haha!)
I haven't been to the gym in years, but I feel for you guys who have been struggling without it! Do you also follow YouTube workouts n things like that, or freestyle it by yourself?
Oh I could try raspberry leaf tea, thanks for the heads up!
Whereabouts are you in your cycle at the mo? Thanks for the conception yoga recommendation! I like Sarah Beth yoga, but alwayssss up for trying new people out. I've scheduled it in my diary for tomorrow!
PS – I've been to Stourbridge before (bro-in-law used to live there) but unfortunately didn't get to go around the High Street properly or anything before they moved away from there! I used to live in Wolves, and always wanted to go to Bridgenorth cus always heard it's beautiful there, but didn't get round to it yet! Iron Bridge is great to walk around too! :)
Have your wisdom teeth come out yet?? Hope you're not in too much pain from it!
Eeeek I was in the exact same position on a Zoom baby shower! Didn't like the people as well! Hopefully you won't get questions because the shower isn't about you, so whoever puts the focus on you would be pretty inconsiderate stealing the pg person's thunder!
@Rose2108 – Oh YES the Dodo videos are soo heartwarming aren't they?! If you fancy having a look at it, they did a video on 'Oliver' the blind white dog – and he is just adorable!!! Yeah absolutely, Insta's algorithms are all over the place. Also, with the beauty/make-up people I follow on there since way before TTC – they're all getting pregnant too great :-|
That's amazing you've lost some Xmas weight! It is so bloody hard to keep on the straight and narrow. I can't ever do life without some kind of treats from time to time even if I'm watching what I eat, otherwise I won't last haha! How's the walking going? Do you do different routes or stick by where you live? I normally don't like going outside for fun in the winter haha but have learned to love walking this winter! Pop Spotify on and I'm all set!
Ha, the intention to stay relaxed is always there isn't it? A couple of weeks ago when we were DTD, my husband told me to stop putting my legs up in the air afterwards cus he just wants me to relax – hasn't worked so far! Great call on the new undies – it'll be something new for your partner which will help I'm sure!
Yes, I agree – this whole Covid thing feels never ending. I started this year feeling hopeful things will change (in this country at least!). I normally stay away from the news cus it depresses me, but I caught a few seconds of it the other day and it said there's another superstrain of Covid?!?! Wtf! Just want to hug my friends and family :(
@JLP256 – I'm so sorry AF came :( I have everything crossed for you that this month is your month!
Yes I track BBT and input it into Premom app. It's still quite difficult to remember for me to take my temp straight away after waking up! I use the Lloyds ovulation thermometer cus apparently it is more accurate than a normal one..? How are you getting on with it so far?
@Lynne425 – I'm really glad you feel a bit better, we are here for you! As far as Netflix goes, here's some suggestions: Bridgerton, Queen's Gambit, Ozark. And if you like trash reality (Netflix): Too Hot to Handle, The Circle, RuPaul's Drag Race. On Prime, we liked Jack Ryan (the series, not the movie).
Totally agree, shutting yourself off from people who are expecting as much as poss feels so much better. Don't need to know how they are doing. Especially if they are moaning about pg symptoms!!!
