Hey all! I have a mass reply! Hope you lovely ladies are all doing ok xxxx
@AKCheer – I'm ok thank you, how are you doing? I'm in the TWW at the mo. No wonder we always feel like we're pg – our PMS is so different to how it was! It's just annoying though because now I am feeling like garbage mentally and physically for two weeks every month, rather than just the one week prior to AF! Have you been managing to exercise at home in place of going to the gym?
Totally agree, it's really hard for the guys. They don't like to open up (I'm actually surprised that my DH said he'd be open to chatting with other guys like we do on here!). It's a shame there's way less support for them.
Ooh thanks so much for letting me know about the Doctors. I'm sorry if you have already mentioned this in another message, but what did they test your blood for? I think I remember you mention that everything was ok in your results?
I'll be staying away from the Maca lol! I like to drink Teapigs drinks because they have a 'caffeine free' section of herbal teas – they don't help with conceiving, but they're nice! I might search for some teas that help hormones/conception etc though and report back!
@jules5232 – OMG congratulations!!!!!! It's so nice to see some good news :) How are you feeling? Do you know when you'll be able to get an appointment with the Dr? Good luck, I hope all goes well!
@KerryW87 – sorry, I've not experienced that before! How are you feeling in yourself? Has the pink/brown CM stopped now?
@Louisa199 – hey thanks for telling me about this! Without checking the app right now, I think it might possibly have happened because my temp spiked! It totally threw me off, so kind of wish it didn't do that! Hope you're well :)
@RedLippyK8 – Welcome to the crew! You're definitely in the right place for the mental support, we all know how you feel! Get ready for all the acronyms, rants and tips/support haha! I'm 32 and DH is 36, we live in the Cambridgeshire, and been trying since April 2020 for baby #1. I thought it'd happen by now – I feel like me and DH have been doing everything we can to help ourselves conceive, but sadly nothing at all has happened. We lost weight and have been eating really healthily (with the occasional treats obvs), been avoiding alcohol a lot (v difficult!), taking vitamins, exercising, never taken the pill...feel like I don't know what else we can do to help ourselves, so I just remind myself that we only have a 20% (or 25%?) chance of conceiving each month...and leave the rest to luck or whatever it is! Feel like age isn't on my side, but I just tell myself that there are people much older than me having more than one baby!
I am so sorry about your fiance's Mum. Life is so cruel sometimes, but I hope that you are all coping as well as you can. No wonder you're stressed. Is there anything you like to do for stress relief?
@Rose2108 – Hi, how are you? I totally understand you. As well as people close to me, it feels like every time I open up Instagram, so many celebrities are either pg or have just had babies. I'm like – I just wanted to come on to look at cute dog videos lol leave me alooone!
Exactly – as much as we are the ones doing all the science around TTC, calculating cycles, symptom spotting etc, they are probably just as anxious! I wonder if our men could infiltrate MumsNet and start a group of their own HAHA!
Ah so your PMS is more noticeable as well! It's so weird isn't it?! I pee a lot as well – and here I am thinking I'm pg, but really it's AF tricking me! This month in particular, my boobs are so so achy. Just trying not to get my hopes up and I'm just waiting..I don't think this month is our month again but I'll be straight on the phone to the GP if AF comes!
