Metallic taste

Hi everyone, I’ve had a metallic taste in my mouth since Sunday night (8dpo I think) didn’t think much of it until I googled it and it says it can be a pregnancy symptom? I did a cheap test this morning and had a BFN, the taste seems to be getting stronger 🤢 just wondering if anyone had this symptom and went on to have a BFP?

No I had it after a positive but everyone's different some get symptoms much earlier x

Ahh Okidokie, I’ll just wait and see I guess ☺️ I didn’t have any symptoms with my little boy until about 6/7 weeks. Thanks again for replying xx

Hello, sorry for jumping on your post hun. Ive been having the metallic taste for the last 2 days and I’ve been experiencing some spotting for 2-3 days now, it started a light pale pink barely noticeable and then turned to dark brown. I don’t need a panty liner or anything it’s just there when I wipe it’s very light. I’m due on my period on the 10th/11th December. could this be implantation bleeding?

@Anonymous2345 aww don’t be silly! Oohh I would say it could be, I’ve never experienced implantation bleeding before so I’m not quite sure what to look out for.. I’d give it a couple of days and maybe try testing?x

It was always my first symptom. That's how I realised I was accidentally up the duff with my 3rd. Took one sip of tea and... oh no... not again...!

@AmandaHoldensLips oh really? Did you get that before a bfp? That sounds promising, but don’t want to get my hopes up haha, going to try holding off until the weekend to test again..

@KatieA1234 stopped spotting not long after starting commenting on this so 3 days spotting metallic taste and mild cramping.

Who knows what’s going on🤷‍♀️

@Anonymous2345 aww bless you, it’s so frustrating in the 2 week wait isn’t it 😩 this metallic taste seems to be really strong for me tonight, like I’m sucking on a penny, can’t seem to get rid of it 🙈 x

@KatieA1234 have you tested? And yes the 2 weeks is horrendous x

@Anonymous2345 I tested this morning with a cheap test and got a BFN so trying to hold off till at least Friday, my periods have been abit all over since I came off my pill but I think I’m due on around Saturday x

@KatieA1234 I’ve been off the pill since the end of April so I’m not sure where anything is in my cycle it changes most months just hoping this is it. I keep reading people stories where they’ve had mild cramping brown spotting and back ache and got very excited. Now added with the metallic taste I’m getting ahead of myself and worried for BFN or period 😞x

@Anonymous2345 How are you today? Do you still have the metallic taste? I still have it and all of a sudden started to feel really sick in the last 10mins! Hoping it’s a good sign and I’m not coming down with something 🙈 xx

I'm on CD 22 not sure how long my cycles are since coming off the pill but yesterday n today I've had an awful taste in my mouth n no matter what I do i can't get rid of it. I've had it before in my other pregnancies but don't want to get my hopes built up.

@Jj130816 aww fingers crossed it’s a good sign for us all! I’ve not had it in previous pregnancies but have read a lot of people that have.. I’m on CD 31 but mine have been all over the place too x

This will be baby number 5 for us but all pregnancies have been different. I also have sore boobs a little n a bad head but not sure if it's all just the build up to af, I suppose only time will tell. 🤞 For all of us.

Aww this is baby number 2 for us, I had 2 miscarriages before my little boy though so really nervous! Yes finger crossed for us all 🤞 x
