Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

How we roll on this bus...
⁃ No judgement & each to their own on your TTC journey
⁃ Sense of humour DEFINITELY required
⁃ A few of us like a sex toy a few don’t, there may be sex toys discussed! 🤪a few of our fellas have enjoyed this aspect
⁃ Support each other, ranting is allowed, saying you are down is encouraged & celebrating our happy days too 😘
⁃ We have fun
⁃ If you have a pet, it’s welcome aboard
⁃ Now mandatory picture of your 🎄tree when up or Xmas decorations / Xmas jumper or similar
⁃ Ditto Wreath - extra points awarded if wreath is homemade 🥰
⁃ NOTHING IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION

@Vil10 currently holds the 👑for filthiest/most embarrassing story, can you beat her??? Though @lucyrp recently spewed sambucca over her fingers so maybe that’s debatable

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs

2 BFPs in Dec already and it’s the 1st 🥳

How many more 🤔

@Sausage1990 a bit late to the party, but I had a good excuse, D's and mine covid test accomplished
Here is where you refill your cup, as we all do

Minster2012 · 11/12/2020 18:01

Oh noooooo @Kirky658
Buy them some dice to divert the conversation???
How's your thumb??

@DOB78 like I say in the opener...some of our OH's are pleased we spend so much time on this thread!! 😂 why not add a bit of spice eh?!!

@amy2503 I just make sure theres a 2 hour hold from FMU :) BTW don't fret, I'm sure they're working! I had cycles early on like this too where I even stopped taking the opks cause I was convinced they hadn't worked or that I'd missed my peak but in hindsight my ovulation was just a couple of days late. This is ultimately why I started temping as I was tired of second guessing all the opks!

Minster2012 · 11/12/2020 19:13

Ooooo love that @Franklydear here's where we refill our cup. 🥰 mine will be full of some sort of gin concoction usually!

Kirky658 · 11/12/2020 19:24

@minster2012 I can just imagine my parents face 🤣🤣🤣 Bless them. Thumb is much better thanks, bandage off now, still sore but can semi use it now lol

InkyPaper · 11/12/2020 19:50

@Sausage1990 the biggest of hugs for you! ❤️

@Kirky658 there's still a chance! It's not over until AF shows up after all. Glad your thumb is doing better

@Minster2012 hope you have an awesome anniversary tomorrow! 😄

@Franklydear your boss sounds like a walking HR case!! What an arsehole. Hope your covid tests come back negative!!

@lucyrp how's your OH doing? Is he feeling better?

I don't think I'll be getting my Christmas miracle this month. Work has been so stressful and we've not been able to DTD much. Plus the dishwasher broke and although we had someone out today to fix it, he couldn't complete the job and will be back on Monday, so I was stressing about having a stranger in the house. So unbelievably happy it's the weekend. Just 100% fed up.

notyetamumbuttrying · 11/12/2020 19:57

@Katao yeah I agree! Very honest.
@Minster2012 enjoy your anniversary tomorrow! Hope your finger heals up!
@Sausage1990 ah I'm so sorry for you darlin, what a fucking ordeal 🥺 really hope the antibiotics do it for you!
@Newbie0818 I thought that in my area about the two years thing but if you have a known issue you can go straight there. Worth double checking! We're 15 months and already referred for it. We'll likely start in March which will be 18 months of ttc. Great news about hycosy too!

Vil10 · 11/12/2020 20:16

@Sausage1990 oh I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this!! Sending you hugs❤️

@Newbie0818 how annoying that it's 2 years, but at least you have an end goal, bet you're so excited!x

@InkyPaper sorry you're feeling like that, isn't it a nightmare when things start to go wrong in the house, in the last 4 weeks we've had a leak, boilers broke and the washing machine, my OH managed to order the right parts for the boiler and washing machine and fixed it himself, lucky he's quite the handy man, though I think he just wings it😂 and his friend is a plumber so managed to sort the leak, luckily it was only a tiny one and a tiny simple issue, but it still doesn't make it less frustrating!! Hope it gets fixed quickly!

Minster2012 · 11/12/2020 20:41

@Kirky658 it could be brilliant for your parents who knows! I've made homemade Christmas crackers before, not going to do it this year, but you could, and put sex dice in each one! A table talking point perhaps 🤔glad the thumb is healing though & you aren't out yet, back ache could be good 🤞🏻

@Franklydear how was the Covid test for DS? Was it just a nose one? I can't imagine trying to do the throat one for a child 😕

Oh no @InkyPaper that's rubbish on both the dishwasher, feeling fed up and thinking you haven't DTD enough. I'm sure it's not the case but it's a tough feeling to shake when in your mind....do you have anything nice to take your mind off at the weekend?

@notyetamumbuttrying that's so good you got referred early, I guess it depends on the issue and if you've had the tests done & they know what an issue might be. And that it won't be resolved then they know ivf will be the way forwards, so that's awesome! Do you know how many goes you get in your area?

That reminds me, who had the leaking roof that the landlord wouldn't fix for ages and the mega long AF? How's that going??? 🤔

OP posts:
Franklydear · 11/12/2020 20:55

@Minster2012 nose and throat as he is 10, pretty horrific but we've done it, I don't think he would have let the nurse do it, but the power of mum

InkyPaper · 11/12/2020 20:56

@Vil10 thanks lovely, it's just the worst when things start to break - I hate washing up so much 😂 sounds like it's been one thing after another for you too recently. Glad your OH was able to get everything fixed up for you!

@Minster2012 we're going to be putting up the tree this weekend, but nothing planned really. Will probably end up Christmas shopping - still got a load left to do 🙈

Newbie0818 · 11/12/2020 21:05

@notyetamumbuttrying for ivf? That's interesting. I suppose I'll wait and see what happens with dh etc.

@Vil10 very! Finally feels like a ray of hope :)

Minster2012 · 11/12/2020 21:49

Gosh @Franklydear that's so hard well done not sure DS would let me do it with him

@InkyPaper don't forget we need a 🎄pic! Get it sorted! I've still got bits to do, DH & I might have a little look for me tomorrow 🤞🏻

OP posts:
notyetamumbuttrying · 11/12/2020 21:50

@Minster2012 yeah I was so chuffed when we found out! So I think it's only two years when it's unexplained infertility, but if they know the issue they refer you straight away! 1 round but recently found out that meant 1 fresh transfer but endless frozen until your embryos run out so here's hoping we make a lot! Just saw your DM btw and responded ☺️
@Newbie0818 yep ivf! As your Dh has morphology issue that should be enough straight away for a referral without waiting the 2 years. Defo double check!

lucyrp · 11/12/2020 22:21

So girls.... what we thinking about this ..😳

AHobbyaweek · 11/12/2020 22:24

@lucyrp is that a HCG?!?!? 😱😱

lucyrp · 11/12/2020 22:26

Yes ladies it is a HCG 😳 I am currently shaking I am a bag of nerves. Had some terrible news at work about an over payment in my wages and was stressed about that so I was like nope you gotta calm down and I went to see my friend and her newborn tonight and I thought I'm gonna test when I get home 🙈

Vil10 · 11/12/2020 22:27

Vil10 · 11/12/2020 22:31

@lucyrp I don't think I've ever been this happy for someone ever!!! Such a strong line and at this time of night!!! You go girl🥳🤰🏽

blackcurrantqueen · 11/12/2020 22:32

@lucyrp oh my god congratulations!!!! 😍😍😍😍

@Franklydear god those covid swabs are horrible aren't they! I had to do my little girl last week it was horrible! I do one weekly at work and it really isn't pleasant 🤢

Sorry I am SHIT at keeping up with the bus!!
I had an unwelcome arrival from AF and honestly been feeling really shit!! Just want to be pregnant now 😢 ended up googling when I should go to the doctors; but then read they'd suggest things like drinking less wine first... might wait until after Christmas! 😂

paintfairy · 11/12/2020 22:33

@lucyrp how long have you been trying again? Definitely looks bloody positive to me! And what did you do different?!

@amy2503 I always do my opks in the afternoon. You just have to make sure you hold it for a while. But I find mine are stronger pm usually. That's not to say you can't do a few per day.

@Sausage1990 don't apologise. That all sounds rubbish but at least you know why now and I hope you can get sorted.
