Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

@Newbie0818 I'm glad you now know the truth, they can be scarily sneaky sometimes can't they! I always ask for the print out now. Sorry to hear about the sperm issue, but so good you have a POA, it makes the whole journey a bit more bearable doesn't it.

@lucyrp ooh that chart looks a bit triphasic! Do you usually have a third level of temps at the end of your luteal phase?

@kalidasa no not really ! My first full cycle of bbt last cycle was like this I'll attach. I've tried temping before but because my cycles have been so long I've given up half way through! I've done two full cycles now though. My temp normally dips at 13dpo which is what I am today

@amy2503 ah I'm sorry! yes FMU is first morning urine (I believe the cheap OPK sticks have it in the instructions not to use FMU) and SMU is second morning urine. CB is Clearblue - you know those fancy opks that measure both oestrogen and LH.

@Newbie0818 I'm so glad that went well and was a productive meeting with concrete timelines and actions! What a relief. How did OH take the news about his swimmers? And if you go down the IVF route, would that have to be with donor swimmers if his don't improve? Have no idea how these things work!

@Newbie0818 oh that's helpful of the gp. Honestly. But at least you are now seeing the people that know. I'll never get there when mine can't perform a basic blood test. They said our SA was ok (motility a little low) but you do wonder!

@Joanna1009 4 cans a night sounds more than a ttc issue to me? Would he carry on with this after having a baby?

And yeah @amy2503 I have a pretty regular cycle and mine will be like clockwork so when its not it really throws me! But we aren't machines and I think we forget. Its frustrating though.

My conceive plus lube has arrived today! I have previously used preseed. I hope its the magic we need. 🤣 I don't really need it to be honest but I do need something for the bullet and I can't bring myself to use a non friendly one, in case.

Did I read someone is trying the conceive plus vits? How do they differ from the pregnacare ones?

@newbie0818 I'm glad to hear your appointment was good - having a plan of action always feels so much better doesn't it.

So I had my scan today and it's not great news. There's still retained product... 😭 A tiny bit that's 1.4cm in size but it's still there despite having a negative pregnancy test. So my POA today was a hefty course of antibiotics (we think there may be infection too) and had bloods taken to check my hcg and stuff. If my hcg comes back above 0 then I'll have a 3rd dose of misoprostolnand then a rescan again on the 22nd 😔 if there's still retained products after the 22nd then I'll have to come up with a plan with the consultant because at this stage with such a small piece of tissue the surgery isn't usually advised because its hit & miss because its a blind procedure so the consultant needs to get involved to come up with a plan... I'm hoping these antibiotics & maybe the 3rs dose of misoprostol will do the trick but girls... I'm exhausted with all of this.

I'm sorry all im doing is talking about myself all the time. I don't mean to be so self centered and not supporting others. My cup is running empty atm. Sorry girls.

@Sausage1990 please don't apologise. You are having a horrendous time of it. We are here for you. What is your real life support like? Have you shared this with family or friends?

I think I'm out for the month again ladies. My RHR has dropped by 1bpm each day for the last 3 days after being consistent for the last 2 weeks or so. The only other thing it could potentially be is I've been running a lot more the last 2 weeks so perhaps it's that... So I guess just spending the weekend for AF to come. 😭

@Kirky658 & @Katao I sent a message to DH saying "ok my turn to be a shit wife I've lost the card I got you, I couldn't find another good one in 2 places I went in then in Tesco I forgot...so how bout I wrote I love you in pussy juice on your face instead?" He said "deal" is that what you were thinking??? So I've got 2 hours til DS & DH get back to defloof the foof to eh hem, follow through on that promise 😜

There is no self centred, totally get the running on empty, lots of us wouldn't even have a glass left let alone anything in it. We are here for you no matter what. Talk to your family. They will also help you. So you are having the same stuff again? It's good they know what's going on but I was hoping for something a bit different maybe for you, a new strategy? The only annoying thing is in our area you have to have been trying for 2 years for ivf to go ahead, but that's only 6 months from now so by the time all the apps have happened etc it'll fly by. What's another 6 months 😂 waited so long already.

Someone asked about hubby and his swimmers, @Juno231 I think? He's obviously a bit deflated but he's surprisingly positive because he knows if that's the issue ivf will happen quicker for us. I think he's really starting to get excited about things happening now bless him. I've told him he's no less of a man etc and that these things happen. At least it works in our favour 🤷🏼‍♀️

@minster2012 yeah it's the same stuff I had before for the medical management of miscarriage which is to induce uterine contrations... The reason there are no other meds on the table at the moment is because its the retained tissue thats causing the bleeding still as my body's been trying to get rid of it. If there was no tissue and the bleeding was a hormonal issue then the other meds would be an option. The theory being that once this stubborn bit has passed or been reabsorbed then the bleeding should stop. So here we go again.

@Katao my real life support is great to be honest. Husb takes time off everytime I have an appointment to be with me, my work colleagues & bosses are super supportive, I've let me friends and family know too and they're great. The one good thing thats come out of this is realising how lucky I am to have such a good support network. I know that's not the case for everyone so I am very grateful. It's actually made DH and I closer tbh, he's been my rock & knows how to make me laugh and cheer me up when I need it. Today he went to greggs while I was in the hospital and got me a pigs in blankets & stuffing baguette & a mince pie for my late lunch 😘

Aw @Sausage1990 that's good at least. I knew your hubby was a good egg from what you have mentioned before but glad you have shared this with friends, family and work too so that you don't have to paint on a brave face. Makes it a bit easier. You must be so drained.

Okay still not positive OPK- has anyone tried them and them not worked ? My clearblue one did work but is so expensive so I'm using cheap sticks now.. but I'm really stressing I'm not ovulating- I'll try again tomorrow though- what time is best to do a SMU ? @Juno231 do you know ? xxxxxx
