Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

So- they really have done the wrong one. Fuck knows how. The receptionist is one i spoke to before and she's not too bad. I took her name as she's helpful and will make sure I get in for the appointments I need last minute if the days aren't right.

So- they just ran progesterone? Why I've no idea.

She says it says on my notes it is progesterone only for my next appointment and then for the following one (ANOTHER day 2) it is fsh and lh. Those are the ones they just never take? Clueless as to why they are failing. Apparently on my notes it says they are to get it right because I'm understandably upset (she was reading it out to me). 🤣 FFS. So - 3rd time lucky?

Just been for a walk with my friend who's baby turns 1 next week on the same day my other friend who was with us is due her baby, as you can imagine my ovaries were aching listening to their stories (literally with ov pains too) it's made me so broody and excited to have possible babies close together (even if I don't get mine for another year still be cute)

@paintfairy omg so the clued up nurse may have confused things for them by adding a day 21 appointment in for you and they did the tests the wrong way around. I'd just ask for the referral in the meantime to be honest and for these tests to be done during the wait. Tell them you're 38, waiting lists are long due to covid and they've just wasted like 4 months on this now.

@vil10 haha bless you! 34 is a bit wrong as it would you've got hypothermia so I wouldn't trust that reading at all. When BBT dips for ovulation it's more around the 0.1C mark and not a full 2C. The whole cycle only really fluctuates between 36-37 degrees so the changes we're seeing are really small - that's why a BBT thermometer has to have 2 decimals to be accurate.

@paintfairy totally agree with @Juno231 there, get them to send the referral without any more delay and do the repeat bloods in the wait.

@paintfairy at least you have someone who is nice and can help you!! I hope it gets sorted for you!

@Minster2012 i haven't done any christmas shopping yet lol. Kinda wanting to just pretend it's not happening. Can't be arsed tbh to run around getting gifts for grown ass adults... Problem is OH's step mum always goes all out buying gifts for everyone and then gets deeply disappointed everyone else isnt as crazy about it lol....

Also just realised final day to send stuff via post to Sweden is this Friday! Crap! Guess they're not getting anything

@Juno231 @Katao the won't accept the referral without the correct bloods. Which is why the referral bounced back in the first place. But the delay is ridiculous given age and wait times so I'm not happy. I really wanted to cry earlier. I don't even cry any more when AF comes but this is insane. I was told to relax ttc and they'll sort everything out, yet here we are?

@Vil10 yes it does at least help having a receptionist that's not rude! Some are. And so matter of fact.

@paintfairy oh my goodness they are so bad. I'm so sorry this is fucked up for you. You need to be writing a complaint but alllllll the hugs and 🤬😭😩for you love. I know sometimes the NHS are their own worst enemy I'm afraid 😥. I'd def ask to speak to a DR to at least complain too.

@Juno231 oh don't worry I've only bought mainly for the kids, and some of those aren't "bought" things they are charity shops finds too just gifts in general. The adults overall don't get things. Except my brother and one lovely SIL, the other 3 SILs only one gets something small cos she my mate too, but the other 2 ones 30th birthday is 23rd Dec & we are seeing her & the other one also had her 30th in lockdown & she will be there 🙄. My parents want a stepladder. I'm not wrapping that!

@minster2012 I'm all about the won ton soup, egg fried rice and beef in oyster sauce :) OH always gets a sweetcorn and chicken soup, quarter duck and then lately some special fried rice as well.

Thank you for making me feel a bit better about the xmas pressies! My family back home are impossible to shop for (think a completely personality devoid family - no interests, hobbies, likes etc) but there's a huge money divide between us where they're poor and seem to think I'm a millionaire, so I think they think I'm super cheap with them. Genuinely though - my mum doesn't do beauty products, doesn't wear jewellery, doesn't read and is always hot so you can't even get her just a nice scarf or slippers or whatever. My brother wants Dsquared jeans this christmas and when I looked them up they're like £600 so sod that!

My brother works zero hour contract type shifts, lives at home but is always dressed in designer clothes and when I tell him I'd never buy anything like that for myself even with my income, he just thinks it's cause I'm stingy! He's 25 but honestly has the maturity of a 12 year old...

@Vil10 I think the norm is arsy receptionists. So it's good to get one that speaks to you like a human being.
I agree with @Juno231 - if your temp was 34 then you need to see a dr! 🤣 And the bbt change is really slight so it's that second decimal place reading you are looking for changes in. Mine is about 36.33 pre ovulation and 36.78 after (with many variances in between). I also don't always really get an ovulation dip as it were.

And I think it must be a sibling thing! My brother drives a flash car that I couldn't afford in my whole life. But lives at home with my mum. 🙄 He at least doesn't expect expensive Christmas presents though (from me anyway) but neither did he get me anything. 🤣

So we've DTD, the least romantic DTD ever!! Literally led there with my vibrator on whilst he played with my nipples and spoke about the curry I've made for tea tasting different to usual and talking about Christmas wrapping😂 currently led with my legs in the air savouring those little spermies!
