Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

17dpo for me today, still no AF but a drop in temp for the last 3 days, only very slightly above coverline now. Caved and and did a FRER yesterday but of course BFN which I was expecting, apparently I just like peeing on my money for the sake of it. Normally I'm a 26 day cycle to the hour, currently CD28, getting serious bouts of nausea but undoubtedly not pregnant, what is going on?! Anyone had the same?

Referral date is through!! 22nd feb is the earliest which is a shame, was really hoping it would be this month 😒 at least it's through though. Might call every fortnight to see if they have cancellations. Also means much longer to wait for the repeat SA. I might just get him to book it directly anyway, no harm in doing more than 2 is there.

@Pancakes90 in the years that I was charting for contraception, I did have a few cycles with a 17 day luteal phase. The book I used said that some women do naturally have a luteal phase that long though if you get to 18 temps above the cover line and the temp shift was a clear one, you had almost certainly conceived (even if it then doesn't work out). It's true that in my years of charting for contraception, I had quite a few 17 day luteal phases, but never an 18 day one. Do you know how long your luteal phase usually is? Are you sure of your ovulation date?

Seriously getting pissed off now. How many blood tests can one person have? I've had two day 2 ones now and they've both somehow been wrong? How? So now I've got to go next month as well. Is this an actual joke? How the f*ck can you keep running the wrong test?

@paintfairy I feel you. They did my 21 day blood tests twice but forgot the progesterone both times which is the whole purpose of the test

@lucyrp I'm booked in for my second day 21 (nothing technically wrong with the first because luckily they ran progesterone every time) but they somehow aren't doing the day 2 one right? I just don't get it?

@paintfairy no I'm not sure how they can get them wrong either 🙉😂 useless !

@pancakes90 thank you! I usually have a 26/27 day cycle and tested today on CD30 so maybe you just need to wait a bit longer? The nausea sounds encouraging 🤞

Came downstairs to find the dishwasher beeping up a storm and refusing to work. Also had a chat with my manager about my workload today - turns out it's double what he thought it was and that's why he keeps trying to add to it 😂 haven't finished on time once in the last week or two and doesn't look like I will be for the next fortnight either!! I don't really drink much at all but I may just have to have a Bailey's hot chocolate later 😂

@paintfairy what???? Just tell them to sod off, and to give you a referral before you raise a formal complaint. You're 38 not 18 and they've dicked you about with just blood tests for months now!

@paintfairy as the others have said I would make a formal complaint as that's what I did when they kept messing me around and then they fixed it sharpish and I had my referral!

• helicopter is in for a service. Getting around on my bike instead. Bike is not air conditioned. Boooo.

I queried was she sure it was wrong? But obviously it was the receptionist. But that's what the dr said apparently. I am confused as to how. Because this nurse last time seemed clued up. She wrote clearly on it, it was day 3. She said we needed to make sure it was done right. And suggested an additional day 21 just to cover bases. I honestly can't understand how it can be wrong again?! But when I go next- it'll be a nurse who won't know what's going on so it'll be hard to quiz them i suspect. I'll know if it was right if I see it, as its the FSH I am missing which is holding up the referral. I can't really decide if the dr is just confused or they really have done it wrong?! I'm so angry.

Just been for my mri and had to have my temp tooo on the way in, it said low 34.0, and when I came last week and had my temp it was 36.3 and when I've had it recently (we have a hand held one at work and when I had my cold my mum was obsessing over my temp) it's been 36.3/36.4 so even though I don't temp and have no idea on it, I can class that as clarification that I'm ovulating because it's dipped right??😂
