Hey @MgW1 I am getting busy with planning for Christmas. Started Christmas cleaning yesterday and put up some lights in our windows. Dec is normally a busy month for us, besides Christmas, DH's birthday and our anniversary so lots to get on with. Next weekend, we'll get our tree then just a few short days until I test 🙈 How's it going on your end?

@cherrypickd looks like we’re be in the 2ww together! I’m trying to bring the day I ovulate forward with Chinese herbs and acupuncture but only my first week of doing it so that might take awhile!
Btt can be hit and miss but now I do it as soon as I wake up before moving at all and that’s usually around the same time.

I couldn’t resist and took the clear blue digital last night (11 dpo) and got the 1-2 weeks pregnant. DH has relaxed a lot since seeing it in writing. We’re both very happy but nervous as our little girl had terrible colic.

Don’t think we will tell anyone till quite late this time as last time we got a bit ahead of ourselves and everyone knew at about 7 weeks- I think back then we didn’t realise the risks and how fortunate we were.

I thought having had the mirena in for so long I expected to have hormones drifting around, but I guess they’re right when they say it is very low and your fertility can return to normal quickly.

Guys I took a cheap one step test this morning, im only 11dpo and swear I can see a faint line.. can anyone else or is it just me?!
Not going to get my hopes up will take a FRER in a day or so xx

@PurplePops yes it’s definitely there! That’s exactly what mine looked like then digital said 1-2 weeks.

We are in the first cycle of TTC#2. I'm feeling very nervous this time around. I'll be testing on 9th Dec. I'm trying to leave it as late as possible before I order some tests. I know I'll be checking every two minutes while I'm wfh other wise 🙈

Aww congratulations @Mumtoalittlegirl! Did you have to take the digital with FMU? Im dying to take a FRER today but know I should wait to use FMU tomorrow xx

Ahh i see! I was going to but couldn’t wait so did it the same day as the cheapies. It was in the evening and I actually drank quite a lot of juice beforehand. Reading the packet I think it said 65% effective 4 days before missed period then it’s higher after that, but I figured if the other one was showing I’d give it a go.

@loopy23 I think you need a few more days of bbt measuring to confirm when you ovulated, I think it can differ from 16 hour to 48 hours after your LH surge. How was your bbt this morning?

@SRyellow ooh let me know how things go with the Chinese herbs and acupuncture, I wish my ovulation was earlier too, especially now we’re trying SMEP. I’m going to try and be as consistent as possible with my measuring over these next few weeks, I’ll even set my alarm for 7am on the weekend!

@Mumtoalittlegirl congratulations! It’s reassuring to hear that your fertility returned quickly, I had my implant removed in June after 6 years.

@PurplePops yes I can see the line too! Keeping my fingers crossed for you when you take your FRER.

@pinkapple7 good luck for the 9th Dec! I know exactly what you mean about wfh, I wish I was in the office so I couldn’t spend all day googling early pregnancy symptoms!

Hi - congrats on the BFPs so far - can I join you?

DH and I are both 28, married in August, trying for our first baby. Cycle 2 TTC after coming off the implant, day 18 and planning to test 12th Dec. I've got unusual bloating yesterday and today so feeling weirdly hopeful as I wouldn't normally be! Been taking my tablets and hoping it happens soon!

Sending lots of baby dust to everyone - hopefully there will be many more BFPs! X
