@BubsNumber2inTheMaking hello!! So good your tree is up already!! We were out and about today, singing Christmas songs in the car! Loved it! Christmas is definitely in the air and we all need some cheer 😊 We have some friends who are in our bubble and they'll be spending Christmas with us so bought them presents today 🙌

Funny if I don't fall pregnant this cycle, I am due to ovulate on the 23rd Dec 🙈 But just as you say, I'm taking it easy as well and intend to enjoy myself...no OPKs, no accupuncture and if it happens, it happens.

Day 16 of cycle, due to ovulate in approx 5 days according to natural cycles! Started pregnancare and also have bought some preseed but don't know if it's actually helpful or is hit and miss! 8 years together, 1 months married so hoping this is our month!!

Hope you don’t mind me joining? Currently ttc baby number 1 and have been actively trying since April. I’m 28 and my partner is 30. First month this month doing the SMEP. Any words of wisdom out there? Naively thought it wouldn’t take this long.

I have a almost two and a half year old little girl. I got my mirena coil out in Sept/oct. Bled for a week and then got a proper period on 5th November. I have been a bit crazy and just been testing loads even though I know it will be negative. Latest one was today (10 days po on cheap test) and nothing.

Last time with getting my mirena out it took about three months. But I honestly can’t remember any early symptoms! We are 29 & 30 but we are definitely not as healthy as we were a few years ago (some weight gain!). So I’m not feeling as hopeful this time.

I would really love a just over 3 year gap (DD birthday is in July),

It’s my first conception thread so just wondering when everyone is testing? And what tests you are all using? I bought a pack of 10 eBay cheapies. Is it worth getting some ovulation tests too?

@gracie2307 guess what... I've peaked today too! 🤣🙈 I'm concerned as its only cd 10 so SMEP every other day hasn't exactly gone to plan 🤦‍♀️ I'm thinking we didn't start early enough and should have started cd 6 instead of cd 8. I'm guessing I'll have a very short cycle this month

@Mumtoalittlegirl I am using the clear blue opk which I know are a little more expensive but the results seem to be positive so fingers crossed! I've also bought some preseed!

I posted yesterday (10dpo) thinking this month was unlikely, but I got up early this morning (11dpo) (DD decided to wake me at 4.30!). So I decided to take a test and got a really faint line on my cheap eBay tests. I did it again this afternoon and it was there still. .

Going to get a digital tomorrow to be sure.

I was using an ap called ‘flo’ ovulation was the 18th and we started trying on the 13th but not on the 18th or after so I wasn’t sure how this month was going to go. I did get some lower cramping, more so on one side a few days after but I put it down to eating rubbish.

Now I feel like I can definitely feel something (don’t know if that’s in my head though as I didn’t feel like that in my last pregnancy).

Hi all- on cycle 2 and 9dpo.
Really hoping to get a BFP for Christmas, but as a PP said- if it doesn't happen I will take solace in being able to enjoy a boozy Christmas day...
Already have a DD (nearly 3yo) and we were very lucky that with her we didn't have to wait long.
I'm a POAS addict and find the whole TTC thing quite anxiety inducing which I know isn't optimal for TTC but there you go!
Going to try SMEP plan next cycle if this one doesn't work out (and yes... I've already done a test today despite knowing full well 9DPO is likely way too early).
Hoping everyone gets the BFPs they want really soon!

I'm around same time as you, currently 10dpo and 2nd cycle, although I'm trying for first baby. Im really trying to hold of testing for a few more days but getting so impatient! Fingers crossed for BFPs! xx

Came off the pill in September and then bled for 16 days in October 🙈 withdrawal bleed. I then had a 2 week break and flo said I was ovulating then I started bleeding a few days later lol lasted 5 days so I'm assuming that was my first proper period and now flo says ovulation day is today. Sore boobs, ewcm and cramps like I usually get.

So I'm hopeful lol af due 14th Dec, would be lovely to have a xmas bfp ☺

@Dreamer30 I think I'm on about the same timescale as you, AF due 15/12 according to Flo app and it expects ovulation tomorrow, also got cramps, sore boobs and EWCM today, although only a "high" reading on the CB ov test and not peak yet.

Hi everybody, brand new here so hope it’s ok to join. I’ve been off contraception for seven months and actively TTC for four months.

Up til now I’ve been using BBT and OPKs to time things but am starting SMEP this cycle. @SRyellow I’m the same as you! CD8 yesterday and I normally ovulate on CD18, AF is usually around CD29/30.

The past two cycles I’ve not had an obvious rise in BBT despite positive OPKs but wonder if it’s down to poor measuring/disturbed sleep etc. Just ordered some Conceive Plus because I already felt the pressure yesterday starting SMEP!

@Bluepolkadots42 I have a shortish luteal phase so AF due in 2 days, having the usual AF symptoms so not too hopeful but fingers crossed! When is yours due? Xx
