Hi Ladies yes I am good thanks. I have been enjoying xmas , had plenty to drink but not as much as I would have liked to eat. I have tried a few pre - conception vitamins and they have all made me terribly constipated 🙈 stopped the seven seas 5 days ago and still having cramps, bought some lactulose from chemist yesterday and feeling pretty miserable with it. I just cant seem to tolerate them. Drinking lots of water and eating fruit. Bought folic acid with b12 and then vit D on its own and thats all im taking now. Not really trying this month, although will dtd a couple of times but my hubby says a constipated wife is not really a turn on 🤣🤣 i think I have told him too much!! Anyway its fine , il have a few extra wines and do some online retail therapy instead !!

Hi @MgW1 - I also really struggled with the seven seas tablets, but for different reasons. They gave me pretty horrendous headaches so had to stop taking them. Now just on folic acid.

How long have you been ttc? We’ve been trying since April of this year. I read some people say that the disappointment gets less every month, but it really hasn’t for me. It’s now coupled with my DP’s disappointment which is just awful to see. Feel so very low about it all, which I know in itself isn’t helping the situation.

Iv tried pregnacare, holland and barrett and 7 seas. All made me terribly constipated 😔 just ordered prune juice in my delivery ... bet is disgusting!
7 months and 2 mc's @ 14 weeks and 5 weeks. Speak to doc after new year and get ball rolling with fertility referral , there could be a slight prob that is rectified easy with some hormone medication....? Id defo try and get referred asap. You can try to hard as well, my hairdresser tried 3 yrs and nothing , got referred to fertility inic and stopped trying because resorted to the fact they might need help and got pregnant following month naturally. Dont get disappointed or stressed. Sack the opks off for a bit and dont do dtd the death either .... we only do it every other day during fertile week. It WILL happen xx

@Cienega hey!! They are much the same, no worse. How about you? 😊 Have managed to hold off testing. Not getting hopes up as I don't have a gut feeling that I'm pg 🙉

@Dogmum13 AF showed up today, so starting the January bus unfortunately. Feeling so very down about it all (a very close friend announced yesterday and appears to have caught quite easily).

@millionairesshortbread4 well done on managing to hold off testing!! I buckled this morning and took a cheapie. I think there is the faintest of lines so I'm just gonna pop out ams get a frer this morn to put me out of my misery! I have had a funny few days with a barrage of symptoms all seeming to accumulate on 8dpo with some right sided pain to so I'm wondering if that may have been implantation. The symptoms started to ease after that, and today I woke up feeling far less symptoms, just a bit headachey. The one good thing is that i expected to wake up feeling period cramps this morn but I don't feel periody at all, normally I do start to get some cramps etc in the lead up to it. Fingers crossed for us! I'll let you know when I take the frer. So nervous!!

@Dogmum13 no thread for it yet I don’t think and I’m quite new to this MN malarkey so not entirely sure how to set one up!

We’ve been ttc since April but I have fairly short cycles (24 days or so) so this will be our 11th cycle. Due to ovulate next Saturday 9th.

Have you ever tried pre-seed? I bought some a few months ago but we’re yet to use it. May give it a go this month...need to change something up as clearly what we’re doing at the moment isn’t working! Xxx

@MgW1 Not heard anything positive about prune juice...what is it meant to do? Just aid fertility?

Yes definitely going to call GP in the new year. I think stress could be massively contributing to our failed attempts atm. Our wedding was cancelled earlier this year and my DP lost his father to Covid. Xxx

Anyone on 6dpo? I’m having niggly cramps on one side. I’m convinced it is implantation and now worried I’m going to disappointed when I’m not pregnant.

Hi everyone hope you're all well.
I'm really confused this month. I started having ewcm on CD 8 and 9 and then nothing and then it's started again on CD 13. Does this mean I'm ovulating again? So confused. I had sex last CD 11. Would I be able to conceive from that time if ovulation is today?

Cd 13 is prob the most likely day your near ovulation👍🏻 are you going to dtd today as well? You only need to do it every other day! Otherwise supplies will run too thin....!!! Xx

Took another frer earlier after a 3hr hold and got a more obvious bfp! 🎉 I have a digital but wont try that until the morning, will jot down my symptoms if anyone wanted to know as I know i loved reading about other people's!

@DJmum83 yep that's right. Its gonna be busy but I'm so excited for it!

I had ewcm on cd10 and cd11 but didn't get my opk peak until cd13. I didn't manage to bd on the ewcm days (which I had been worried about but it obviously didn't matter!). We bd on CD12 AM and PM, cd13 (peak day) AM and PM and cd14 in the AM only. I know there is some belief in too much sex depleting the amount of swimmers but I had read an article written by a doctor who said this was a myth and that the more bd during the fertile window the better so I decided to go for it as I really wanted it to happen this month! Im not saying that's why I got pregnant this time as I fell pregnant all the other times with just one bd and no planning, but I just wanted to cover all bases just incase as the previous month we only bd once and it didn't happen.
How are you finding it, are you still trying? X
