Hi @SunnydazeQ great to hear that your cycle has returned to normal! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean for you in this cycle 🤞🏻 I’m feeling better each day that goes by, you’re right that this last week seems to have gone much quicker than the first week in the TWW. I took a standard (not early) pregnancy test this morning and got a very dark line so definitely feeling more positive. But I’m going to stop testing now and try to relax.

I’m not feeling good, I’ve had familiar cramps today and feel like I might be out tomorrow. It’s hit me a bit today as I’m starting to worry something might be wrong. I feel like we’re trying really hard and then I hear how it’s ‘just happened’ for friends but it doesn’t seem to be working no matter what we do. After Christmas I think I might see about blood tests, I’m ovulating cd19/20 and then the 2nd half seems quite short at 10-12 days so maybe that’s the problem.

@SunnydazeQ I'm in Northern Ireland so we don't have tiers but full lockdown from Boxing Day with 8pm curfew for a week! Just the two of us stuck at home... what ever shall we do 🤔🤣

Yes I think I'll do a private scan at 8-9weeks. I went earlier last time (6weeks) and it caused more worry than good as it took a few weeks before they could get a clear understanding of what was going on anyway. So just going to TRY and keep positive till then! 🙏
That definitely sounds like you've covered the bases this month - keeping everything crossed for your bfp this month! 🤞🤞🤞 When will you test or will you just wait to see if AF shows up?xx

@SRyellow try and keep positive. ♥️ Cramps can be a good thing! With my first I had sever cramping in the middle of the night before my period was due..and he's now a super energetic 4yr old! Keeping fingers crossed for you xxx

to me! Oh wow, did you keep up with the acupuncture once you found out you were pregnant? How many sessions do you have in a month and how are they staggered? I had 4 in total, on days 6 10 13 and 15. Also my acupuncture man uses like an electric stimulation so the needles jump it’s called electro-acupuncture. Did you have this too? Sorry for all the questions!

Since I’ve had it this cycle I ovulated late, Day 18, and also I had a really long weird period, was heavy for 3 days, then light for 3 days, I had acupuncture thinking period was over but then had 2 more days of like really light bleeding - so light that it was more like spotting. Whereas almost every other period I had this year has been 4 days. And most of my cycles 27-28 days. My app is now saying this cycle with be more like 31 days! Did you experience changes to your cycle? xx

Just a quick one. Has anyone experienced stretchy cervical mucus at the end of their period? I'm on day 5 of my period and I've just noticed stretchy cervical mucus. I have a 25/26 day cycle. Could this be ovulation so soon?

I’m out again 😔. I’ve booked in for another session of acupuncture tomorrow and also ordered soy isoflavones, has anyone have tried this and if so how did you take it? I’ve contacted some clinics for male/female fertility assessments as I just want some peace of mind x

Being pro active is the best way to be as it keeps you busy. How long have you been ttc?

I'm roughly 9DPO today
(I think I had a short surge and missed my positive OPK, caught it on the way back down).

Issue is...I will be about 11DPO on Christmas Day and we are going to my sisters house..she doesn't know we are ttc (I think she has an idea). She's going to be expecting me to hit the Prosecco. I'm the designated driver which helps, but she will expect me to have one. Anyone have any tips? The tww is the worst over Christmas...

Ive got a feeling I'm out this month though. Feeling a bit deflated as I had it in my head I wanted to be pregnant by the end of the year.

You will be fine to have a glass , i have never stopped drinking until i get a positive result but only have a few glasses on a weekend anyway. You will be fine. Have a glass and enjoy the day xx

Hi @Raffie13 I had a similar situation this month, my friends and I had pre-booked an expensive place for Christmas drinks and I’ve never said no to a drink before ttc so thought they’d be immediately suspicious! I said I was getting tests in a few weeks and couldn’t drink, and when one of my friends asked what for I said the doctors were worried about my kidneys and in order to carry out the necessary tests I had to abstain from alcohol. I’ve had bad kidney infections in the past which I think made it more believable.

Sorry that you feel like you’re out this month but you never know! I felt really upset about missing out on those drinks with my friends because I was sure I wouldn’t be pregnant but then a week later I got my BFP. Keeping everything crossed for you!

@Raffie13 onto my 7th cycle now, I was researching today and surprised to learn 8-12 is the average so I wonder if I’m just being a bit impatient. Going to focus on healthy living for us both, just had another round of acupuncture and booked in 4 sessions around the key dates so let’s see if that helps! Fingers crossed for you! Keep us posted.

Urgh so I couldn't help myself - roughly 10DPO and I've done a cheapie test this morning. I think I'm seeing a shadow or evap line because it looks negative until I start examining it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@Raffie13 don't trust the cheapies! Even if they say they're sensitive - they lie! Try a FRER tomorrow, or in a couple of days. Keeping fingers crossed for you! 🤞🤞🤞

Eugh, I think my pregnancy is failing. Just went to the loo and had a load of brown. Had a test left from post d&c so not sensitive at all but just did it in quite diluted wee and there's no line. Nothing. I'm devastated. I really thought this one was going to stick 😔 Oh 2020 can well and truly fuck off now. Wishing everyone reading this a huge, bold, sticky BFP in 2021...xxxx

Oh FFFFFS!! I am sorry and yes this year can feck right off!!! Is yours a chemical? I asked this when it happened to me bacause a lot of ppl have successful pregnancies after a chemical. I had one before my daughter and conceived her the month after. Im really put off testing next time. I hope your ok xxxx

@MgW1 I really don't know - what counts as a chemical? I would be 5weeks tomorrow so I think that's still in the 'chemical' timeframe? Who knows. I've never heard of so many chemicals before coming on this forum though! Didn't realise they were so common. I've had such sore boobs and nausea though, REALLY felt like it was progressing. Ah well. Test in the morning and if it's negative, I'm having a bloody big drink x

I only ask because its then common to catch on the following month , its happened to me before. Its emotionally and physically draining it ttc. If i hadn't of tested with mine , id just assume I was late because it was like a heavier period. I hope it works out though for you 🙏dont give up just yet , do you still have symptoms? Xx

@MgW1 did a bit of reading and it sounds like a chemical as before 5weeks. Annoying but I'd rather it failed now than in a few weeks time. On to the next xxx

Omg so after my shadow at 10DPO I did a test this morning 11DPO...can someone tell me if this is real?! We had bad news yesterday, a death in the family, and now to see this is unreal.

When should I crack out the digital test? DH doesn't believe it as they're so faint. I could cry and I'm shaking!
