Hi , that is very early to test!!! I think rhe early tests are accurate about 2 days before period due xx[/quote]
Yeah you're right it is early. I just see so many people getting faint positives as early as 8DPO and with the test saying it can be taken 6 days earlier I just thought there might be a chance. To be honest I feel extremely moody at the moment + grin] terrible cramps so I think AF is might come early.

Dsr87 · 14/12/2020 18:23

hello ladies.
I've been missing because I wanted to not stress myself out with the whole TTC.
This is our 3rd cycle, on 5dpo I started getting a cramping sensation lasting 10-15 mins.
on 7dpo late in the evening, TMII and partner dtd it and he jumped back and said i think your due on, but it red period looking blood on the sheets (this may help someone), I was abso mortified and ran to the bathroom and put some knickers and a pad in. woke up next morning to nothing? i did a test the evening of a dtd and it was negative and said to the fella i was hoping id catch this month. oh well!
fast forward to 10dpo pm(yesterday), i dont know why but i did a test, and as we had walked the dogs id left the test in my fleece jacket pocket. An hour later i remembered and ran upstairs making out i was putting my jammies on.
The faintest fecking line and i were like " is it"???!!!! you gotta be shitting me!!! shouted him and he thought he was being told off for some shit. well, he said I can defo see something I guess we will have to wait.
So today I did like 4 and they all have very faint lines. I'm so excited for us. Il is waiting till he breaks up for 2 weeks off work on Friday as he's on half a day to give him the official early Xmas present. I'm would be due af on Thursday.
Nice to see you all again, but i think not trying to hard have worked and stopped thinking about it and relaxed. we dtd day before and the day after ovulation.

Awww congratulations Dsr87 that's amazing news.

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 19:26

@Dsr87
Excellent news , hope it works out 🤞🏻 get a FRER for later in the week as they are super sensitive so you should get a clear line for you partners early xmas pressie 🥰 xxx

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 19:29

@Lottiebugz22
I ovulated 4 days late and didnt get a faint positive until 5 days after AF due! Everyone is different and I have period symptoms.... i still do! So you really cant judge it by that. You can get the early first response cheaper on amazon to do on 12 dpo ish. If your not preg then you can enjoy xmas drinks xx

Dsr87 · 14/12/2020 19:56

@Lottiebugz22

Awww congratulations Dsr87 that's amazing news.

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/12/2020 20:29

Congratulations @Dsr87 ! Great news! 🎉🤗xx

@Lottiebugz22 I only got a bfp today on a FRER at 10dpo. The one step brand was still negative so def worth you trying on a FRER in a day or two. Keeping fingers crossed for you xx

ACNass · 14/12/2020 20:31

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking @Dsr87 congratulations to you both!! Wishing you both healthy pregnancies! Did either of you notice any early signs?

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/12/2020 20:42

Thank you @ACNass ! I get 'symptoms' whether pregnant or not I've discovered! I tend to always get nausea in the 2ww which I think is due to hormonal changes so I'm used to ignoring that. This month I had that too but also had mild cramping on 7/8dpo (I was out shopping at the time so it was painful enough to notice). My skin is really greasy and I'm breaking out in a few spots. Quite a lot of creamy cm. Boobs totally normal, not painful at all, no implantation spotting. Felt starving this morning and a bit dizzy until I stopped snacking and ate something proper! But that's about it. Nothing significant or obvious..just little subtle things x

SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 20:53

@Sunflowers81 good you got it all sorted out early. Hope all is going well so far. X

My period has only gotten painly this past two months, after my MC. Fingers crossed it gets back to normal soon. 🤞

Hi @gracie2307 no worries at all. Happy you are doing well and sending so much positivity your way for a BFP this cycle 🤞 How many DPO are you now?

I am on CD8 but not doing SMEP this month even though I told DH we would 🙈 Think will start when my fertile week begins in a few days. Taking it easy this month so no OPKs but happy for the distraction of Christmas which should go quickly. Haven't started the book yet as been so busy gettikg ready for Christmas but will start soon. Xx

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 21:04

Well I don't think this is a good sign for me , I have started spotting so looks like it could be a chemical. . Mentally prepared for the worse , if its not meant to be then we shall try again xx

SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 21:08

@SRyellow yes such a relief that I cried lol How are you doing and when are you planning on testing? X

Hey @SunnydazeQ how are you doing? Thanks for your message. Im 8dpo CD28 today but I think AF is on her way tbh had some bright red AF spotting and painful cramps today so I think it will probably turn up in the next few days 😔 I'm gutted but also not so surprised my whole cycle this month has been all over the shop I didnt get my peak till late this month and I think the chasteberry didn't help. Tbh I dont know what else to do (silly I know) but I like having things to do and I feel like I'm taking all the right supplements, being kind to myself, mindful of diet, now trying SMEP, using pre-seed etc. I'm one cycle away from chanting around a fire calling up to the baby gods lol. Guess it really is just the old fashioned 'wait and see' but my inner Monica is dying lol. Still going to carry on with accupuncture, my therapist said she sees a lots of pregnancies happen between now and January (maybe she was just being kind to me). But whenever I get AF my anxiety plays up massively and I start to worry about not being able to get pregnant (which I realise probably doesn't help) and give in to listening to my hypothetical worries.... Anyway, I'm sorry for my ramble! How are you feeling? Sounds like a good plan at least you can enjoy the festive period and not worry too much about ttc 👌 😉 🙂 Have you got any nice plans for Xmas? xxx

SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 21:25

Hi @MgW1 how are you doing? Sounds like a good plan to keep busy to take your mind off things. Here we thought TWW was hard, little did we think about after getting a positive right? 🙈 Maybe also try some meditation as well. Xx Thank you for the heads up, bought FRER on amazon for the fiver. Good shout!! 😊

Congratulations @Dsr87 how exciting and such a lovely Christmas present 😊

OP posts:
SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 21:40

@MgW1 oh no! I hope the spotting stops!! Can you ring up your local EPU for advice? I read that spotting is normal in early pregnancy so hoping this is all just normal for you. Think positively, I know it's hard, but hang in there. Xx Sending lots of hugs and positivity to you!

OP posts:
SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 21:57

@gracie2307 you're not out until AF arrives, plus PMS and early pregnancy symptoms are very similar. Just hang in there for a few more days. Xx

Oh gosh I know exactly what you mean by calling up to the baby Gods 🤣 I wondered today if I didn't have enough faith in my body and whether all the supplements affected my fertility 🙈 I certainly feel more confident it will happen in the coming months now that I know my insides are looking good. So I'm just going to chug on and wait for it to happen :) We have friends over for Christmas who are all on their own so hoping for some Christmas cheer. We haven't spent Christmas in the UK for over 7 years and our first in our house, moved a couple years back, so really looking forward to it now. Been very busy planning and getting things ready. Hopefully things don't get worse with Covid and ruin our plans. Oh and happy I don't have to worry about my period over the festive period 🎉

What about you? What are your plans? X

@SunnydazeQ I think I’m a way off testing yet, my app changed my O date this morning so I’m now only 4dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️. I Just want some sort of symptoms but I know it’s too early.

@gracie2307 you’re not alone, I feel exactly the same, like I’m trying everything and feeling like others that I know didn’t even need to try but it will happen for us, not sure when but I guess sometimes it just takes time. Currently trying chicken soup and hot water bottles to keep warm - another thing I read 😂xx

MiniBaker · 14/12/2020 22:11

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Congratulations! So happy to hear about your BFP! Thank you for all the info and the charting pic, it’s really helpful 😊 wishing you all the best xx

Dogmum13 · 15/12/2020 00:27

@gracie2307 I feel exactly the same! Even tempted to get the initial fertility tests done privately just for peace of mind 🙈

@MgW1 I have everything crossed it all goes ok xx

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 15/12/2020 06:14

Thank you @MiniBaker 😘xxx

@MgW1 keeping everything crossed for you. A friend of mine had lots of spotting for the first 20weeks so keep the faith. Definitely not over yet! Sending strength and positivity your way xx

Tara1711 · 15/12/2020 07:49

Morning ladies, CD 36 AF is 5 days late, just took a test and got BFN, any advise? Feeling really deflated ☹️ X

Katiecorn · 15/12/2020 08:20

@SunnydazeQ thank you me too although the negative test i got yesterday is making mr doubt that will be the case, may have to buy one today before the ones ive ordered arrive haha. Just want to know either way now. If I'm not then AF needs to hurry up 😫
