Thank you @Katiecorn ! Keeping my fingers crossed for you too when you test again xx

Katiecorn · 14/12/2020 06:26

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking thank you but not sure it's going to be the result that's hoped for. Used a cheapo test this morning and there was nothing at all showing on that 😔 xx

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/12/2020 06:31

@Katiecorn it isn't over till it's over xx
And although I'm delighted at BFP, it's really not great timing with Xmas next week and a potential due date of 28th Aug - my bday is 29th Aug! Plus it's tough being so late in the year as a kid, and ds will be starting school next sept! Ah well, what will be will be. Just gotta be fated about it and think it'll happen when it's supposed to. No period is definitely a good sign though. And I'm not sure I trust the internet cheapies. I ordered FRER yesterday morning and it was delivered at 8pm same day with Amazon prime - perhaps get one of those then at least you'll have a clearer answer either way. I was 5 days late last month so I know how maddening it is. Good luck!xxx

Katiecorn · 14/12/2020 06:40

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking that is very true. I ordered some f.r.e.r tests last night so will hold off testing again until they arrive if AF still hasn't arrived by then. I've not had any PMS signs though just the odd niggle but feels different to last time.

Ye i know what you mean about timing sometimes it feels like it sucks but once that baby is in your arms none of it will matter. Thank you, xxx

Tara1711 · 14/12/2020 07:41

@Katiecorn I came off the pill 13 months ago. Yeah the anxiety is horrible, I hate not knowing! X

Lottiebugz22 · 14/12/2020 08:13

A faint line is a great sign though! My friend recently had a faint positive and then a negative and then a strong positive! Hope you get a stronger line on another test.

Lottiebugz22 · 14/12/2020 08:15

Is anyone 9DPO? How are you all feeling if so?
I felt nauseous in bed last night but I think it was due to a migraine I had during the day. Unfortunately I always get migraines prior to AF. No other symptoms.

Sunflowers81 · 14/12/2020 08:24

@gracie2307

So happy for you *@Sunflowers81* 💓 I can understand why you might feel anxious, try to rest and relax as much as possible. Get DH to bring you lots of yummy food! Thank you for sharing thats helpful to know. Did you have an early signs? Xx
Thank you @gracie2307, I did relax on Saturday night. No early signs during the tww at all, it felt the same as the other months. I had a couple of headaches, but probably didn't drink enough water on those days! How are you today? Xx
SunnydazeQ · 14/12/2020 08:29

@Tara1711 I can see a faint line!

Katiecorn · 14/12/2020 08:41

@Tara1711 I hope you get the result you want this month. X

@Lottiebugz22 thank you trying to stay positive but my partner can see it's getting to me. Best to just wait a few days for mew tests to turn up then try again, hopefully have a similar story to your friend. Xx

Katiecorn · 14/12/2020 08:42

@Sunflowers81 thank you. Hope it is promising 🙏 x

SRyellow · 14/12/2020 08:46

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking big congratulations! Lovely news to start the week!!

Sunflowers81 · 14/12/2020 08:52

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking that’s a really strong line for 10dpo, congratulations! 🎉
That’s amazing! Such wonderful news! Woohoooo!

@SunnydazeQ how are you doing?

@MgW1 I’m so with you in the “arrgghhh how do I not go crazy?”
I rang my local early pregnancy unit yesterday for advice about spotting, as I had a tiny bit of pink when I wiped yesterday morning, and that put me in a terribly anxious state, so just to talk to a nurse for 5 minutes was amazing.
She said that actually they wished people wouldn’t test until they had two, even three missed periods! She said in her day the doctor wouldn’t see you until then, and even then you had to wait 3 days for the results from a urine sample! She said early spotting is fine, it’s the tiny pregnancy implanting. She also said, give it a week, your body is going through a lot of changes right now, let the little pregnancy decide what it’s doing.
Also, I don’t know if it is the same where you are, but because I’ve had miscarriages in the past, I can have an early scan at 7 weeks. Sounds like you would be eligible too?
Also she said no more testing! She said give it 10 days, then take a test, check that it is stronger, and call us to book your early dating scan.
Honestly she was brilliant, made me feel so much better.
I am so with you on the anxiety, I even hate going to the loo at the moment as I’m scared to look when I wipe.
I’m distracting myself by doing things that make me happy, when I can. I love baking so yesterday made a chocolate and salted caramel Yule log 🤤.
I hope this all helps and you are enjoying your day off? Xx

Tara1711 · 14/12/2020 08:54

@Sunflowers81 my fingers are firmly crossed! CD 35, the longest my cycle has ever been.

@Katiecorn thank you, I hope you do too! X

Dogmum13 · 14/12/2020 09:32

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking congratulations! Hope all goes well for you 🙂

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 09:59

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Excellent !!! Very positive 🤞🏻🤞🏻.... now you will turn crazy like me 🤣 how are you feeling?? Xx

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 10:09

@Sunflowers81
Hey, well nothing has occured overnight. Still got symptoms etc...
My hubby says I didnt do the second test right because I got up for a wee at 5:30 then had some water and went back to bed and did test when i got up at 7:30. He says thays your second wee ?! So maybe he has a point. Doing no more tests , just waiting now, Going to ring the doc between xmas and new yr to refer me for an early scan. I have spoken about it before with her and she says they do them 7/8 weeks to confirm a pregnancy. Feel a bit better today , gona chill out , do a few chores and make a start on some wrapping.
I think if it doesnt end well , thats cos something isnt right. Hopefully my body would work that out before 14 wks unlike last time !!
How are you feeling sympom wise ? I dont know how old you are , Im 37 and think its natural to be more anxious when a bit older anyway. Xxx

TheHC · 14/12/2020 10:19

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking huge congrats! Looks like a BFP to me ☺️

@MgW1 I think hubby might be right! It’s easy to say try and relax but I know how hard it is too! I’m 38 and we are TTC our first to my stress levels are through the roof! 😩

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 14/12/2020 11:27

Wow, thanks for all the love guys. After a year of trying (came off pill in Oct 2019), and a mc 3 months ago, it's felt like a long slog. Just gotta try not to drive myself crazy worrying about every twinge now! What will be will be. Fingers crossed this one is a sticky bean but who knows. Sending baby dust to everyone xxx

@MgW1 I'm feeling ok thanks, Really nauseous about an hour ago and a little crampy/bloated on and off but that's it. How about you? Have you resisted doing any more testing?
That sounds like a good plan RE referral for early scan. I'll definitely get one at 8 weeks too. It might be different near you but I can walk into the EPU at the hospital and get a scan at any time. Reasons on the tick form including the usual - pain/cramping/bleeding /loss of symptoms but I noticed when I went last pregnancy that even anxiety is reason enough so I might just try that and save myself the £££ of a private one xx

Bluepolkadots42 · 14/12/2020 13:05

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking huge congratulations!!! What wonderful news Grin wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy Flowers

gracie2307 · 14/12/2020 15:18

Thank you ladies! 😘xx

Lottiebugz22 · 14/12/2020 16:22

I tested again today I'm 9DPO I used a FRER test 6 days earlier and BFN. I just have period symptoms. Just going to wait for my period now I think.

MgW1 · 14/12/2020 16:55

@Lottiebugz22
Hi , that is very early to test!!! I think rhe early tests are accurate about 2 days before period due xx
