@ChinChilly that sucks that they are making you wait so long. It does seem like a battle a lot of the time with doctors but now and again you get one who is so helpful and understanding, and I get a bit flabbergasted haha! Ooo it definitely looks like you're near peak! Exciting

I've just had my peak, so hopefully ovulating today (been bloated and having cramps since yesterday evening), but means I'm on my first proper TWW. Although if my cycle is the same as the last 2, AF could show up in 3 days .

@Luna57 your announcement plans for Xmas and the wedding are so so lovely! How are you finding not having told OH yet? I don't know how well I'd keep my mouth shut!

Well girls an updated referral letter came through today and they've moved my fertility appointment from May 17th to Feb 3rd! I'll be on cycle 14 by then - that's not too early to have this appointment right? 😅

@KGH5121 yeah it is always a shocker when you get a good GP.

@Juno231 I think he would go everyday if it was upto him 😂 great news your referal has come through sooner

@chinchilly yey! - glad you have your peak. Twice yesterday and once tonight/tomorrow morning would be ideal! My partner is the same... I have to fight him off me, haha!

@KGH5121 Exciting, hopefully your TWW will be a little longer than 2/3 days! You are doing the right thing by tracking

@Juno231 Oh wow!! that's such good news - Feb is a much better date than May - so glad to hear you can get things moving sooner!

In answer to your question i'm CD7 and FF expects my fertile week to start from CD21+ which is 4th Jan. Although in the last 2 x cycles my body has tried to ovulate around CD14-18 (if you recall I keep getting EWCM/Open soft high cervix followed by a little temp rise... my body is such a troll!) so it could try earlier again between Xmas and new year.

Either way I will be enjoying the festive period through the medium of gin and I'll be eating chocolate until i'm sick of it... before I take a long hard look at my diet in the new year

@Kay00 glad I’m not the only one who has to fight OH off 😂😂

I’ll definitely be enjoying the festive period before looking at my diet too! Hopefully I’ll stuff myself so much I’ll just want vegetables in the new year 😂

I just had my Thyroid and base hormones blood test results back and all is looking normal. No sign of PCOS, my sex hormone binding globulin is normal and my thyroid function was in the normal range at 1.96.

So i'm pretty pleased with that . Hopefully it's just a matter of time for me (unless OH has some issues of course).

@Kay00 thats great news about your results! Did you anything in particular for your thyroid? I really wish my GP would retest me so I could see if it was just a blip or not! Arghhh so frustrating

@chinchilly, no sorry, I did nothing 😕 I wanted to see what it was like whilst I was eating normal food and taking my usual vitamin pills as I have been all along. Is it possible for you to do a private test?

I will be dieting in the new year but not to cut out gluten just to cut down.... im thinking of going cake and biscuit free for January 😬😬😬 not sure i can do it! 🙈🙈🙈

@Kay00 I think I am going to a private test in the new year, I’m going to carry on with my seven seas supplements and cut down on gluten and general eat better then maybe test again in Feb if theres no BPF by then

@Kay00 I baked again today and am currently drinking wine so I'm fully supportive of your Dec diet 😁. Was thinking I'll set another NYE resolution of 10kg weight loss though😅.

Is it bad I'm sort of having impostor syndrome about the appointment in Feb? I started the investigations in July as I have family history of early menopause but now I feel bad thinking a referral at cycle 14 is premature or not as important as other people's referrals. Objectively I know I'm being ridiculous but even this has given me anxiety now lol.

CD11 here so not a lot to report. Started using clear blue OPK this month so I can do it in the morning before work- still on low readings at the moment. Cervix is actually high and soft already and having lots of EWCM. Started DTD from CD8 every other day but very much ready to drink all of the Christmas wine 🍷

Evening ladies. Sorry to put a downer on things but wanted to let you know I've also had a MMC. So may well be joining you all again in the future!

@TheDaydreamBelievers - any tips on best way to deal with next steps would be much appreciated!

@juno231 errrm... im not allowing you to have imposter syndrome! 😘 You have perfect cycles every month and always time DTD well, you and your OH have had all the tests done and you are looking good. You have practically become a fertility guru yourself! You have even given it time (well over a year) and still nothing 😞 it is certainly time to seek a second opinion.

In the mean time we can be cycle buddies (as we'll probably ovulate around the same time) and drink and eat our way through the remainder of 2020!

Looks like @Sperr will be joining us for a couple of drinks too... sounds like you're in your fertile week! Well done with your every other day... its the approach I'm aiming for this coming cycle!

@chinchilly that sounds like a sensible approach. No harm in cutting down on gluten and re testing in Feb (if you have had no luck by then) xx

@Juno231 I think it’s great that it’s been moved forward! As I’m sure it takes a while for any further appointments / tests after that first appointment so quicker you can get the ball rolling the better. I feel I’m not too far off that as I’m about near cycle 9. But hopefully we both get our bfps before that.

@Emmgrem no wasn’t temping, I was only doing opk to try and see what my body was doing post pill. Yeah I caught my peak cd26 I went from low to peak the next night. I heard it’s possible for your body to try to ovulate a few times in the cycle so wasn’t hoping for much until I got the ovulation pains on my right hand side that lasted right up til 8dpo. I’m still achy but not as much now and getting central cramps on and off now. I quickly went on Amazon last night and ordered a hi dad baby vest and gonna use the digital and put them in a box and wrap them. OH and I aren’t doing presents this year either. Well we say this and last night I got him a toothbrush and he got me a trip to New York so he’s unreliable but I can assume this year I’ll be giving out the best present lol. Honestly I never thought in my wildest dreams this month was the month for our BFP. I’ve hid the FRER in a drawer and every so often I keep going up to check to make sure it’s actually real.

@Cams50 thank you so much! I’m gonna keep on this thread to watch all the BFPs roll out, it’s like my morning routine when I’m working late. Like reading the morning paper lol.

@ChinChilly that looks more promising your body must of got excited and kicked out a few hormones early to keep you on your toes. Our bodies really hate us sometimes lol. Sure what harm can DTD an extra day do.

Keeping this from OH has been so hard I keep wanting to blurt it out but I know it’ll be more special waiting. I can never hold my own piss either so he’ll be so shocked I kept it from him for 5 days haha.
