@Kay00 it’s been a nightmare to be honest! We call at least once everyday, they actually seemed to put some effort in last week, but so many mistakes were made that it didn’t really get us any further along. It’s been a complete shambles to be honest 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sorry to hear the new lockdown rules are impacting you. My family live just north of London and so are all in the same boat 😢 my mum is pretty upset about it I think. It’s rubbish for everyone really xx

Gah tier 4 can suck it but you know what makes it easier?? Me being told to self isolate for the next 6 days as apparently I've been exposed 😭. So not only do we have to panic buy last minute Christmas food but OH has to do it?! He can't find his way out of a paper bag when it comes to food shopping!

Temp dropped a massive 0.3 today RHR dropped 2 bpm and I think I'm spotting so yay!

Can someone help me out!!! Are the easy @ home HCG tests notorious for an evap line? I’m 10dpo I don’t even know why I decided to test. The lines are pink on both tests. The second one I had to squeeze out a tiny bit of pee cos I threw the other tests pee down the toilet cos I didn’t expect to see a line lol. Should I just wait and use a FRER tomorrow morning?

@Luna57 the easy at home ones at pretty sensitive and those look positive to me..congratulations 🥳

@ChinChilly do you think? I’m def gonna take a FRER in the morning just to be sure. I’m so shocked! OH is at the pub so can’t even ask him his opinion. Thank you I really hope it isn’t a false positive. I’ll drop by in the morning again incase I need more line eyes

@Luna57 they are definitely sensitive ones, i looked at A LOT of IC’s before i brought some easy at home ones, they are 10miu and FRERs are 6.5 most ICs are 25! Definitely get a FRER to confirm but they definitely look positive!

I did an OPK earlier and it was definitely quite dark but i just left it and forgot about it so its been about 3 hours now its really dark...what do people generally think about leaving OPKs? I’ve just done another one and it’s definitely lighter but my peaks normally come and go pretty quick 🤔

Do you ladies think the is peak? Or has my body tried and not quite managed it?

@Luna57 those are definitely not evaps! I've been using them for a year without a hint of a line so I can vouch for their quality 😂

@juno231 ... absolute bummer! 😔 And you need to isolate over Xmas! Well that sucks balls 😫 hopefully OH will buy in plenty of wine, salted nuts and chocolate for you so you can at least enjoy the festive week x

Thank you everyone for the reassurance. Had to lie in bed for 2 hours this morning with a bursting full bladder waiting on OH to leave for work but I did the FRER and I don’t think that’s a squinter? I’m 11dpo

@ChinChilly def looks like your peak! I think my peak went to 1.4 just and I got down because I seen loads of people’s with peaks at like 3. Exciting times. Nearly in the 2WW, fingers crossed for you.

@Juno231 aww no way you’ve to isolate now! It’s weird how those apps work. I care for a man and his wife has suspected covid, I’ve still to go in multiple times a day and don’t have to isolate but could def been exposed to it.

@Luna57 wow, look at that line 🥰 congratulations! I’ve had another reading of 1 this morning so I’m guessing its any time now really...might try squeeze DTD tonight or tomorrow just incase! I know what you mean about the peak reading I was thinking it can’t be peak it’s only 1, they do look darker in real life and I think that app is abit hit and miss

@ChinChilly this was my peak. I expected a huge rise but that wasn’t the case and I waited 26 days for mine. By tonight you might peak further just keep DTD. I only managed the 2 days before I ovulated because of ovulation pain. Did attempt O day but OH got stage fright lol. He says I only use him for baby making we haven’t had sex in 10 days now haha

@luna57 I guess unless she tests positive and have the app herself - your app would never know! I'm legit starting to think maybe my neighbours got it and the app has registered it through the wall 😅

CD2, lucky cycle 13 reporting in 😅. Next ovulation is predicted for the 2nd of Jan and then another on the 30th of Jan so I've got a busy January planned 😂

@Juno231 I don’t even have to app it’d probably be pinging every day lol. Stick a note to their window and ask if they’ve the Rona lol

@Luna57 huge congrats!! What a lovely early Christmas pressie. Have you told your OH yet? Would you mind reminding us of your journey? I love to hear them ☺️

@Juno231 that’s annoying about AF and isolating 😞 at least you can eat and drink whatever you like over Christmas as you’ll be kept busy in January with two fertile weeks 😉 hopefully cycle 13 will be lucky for you! I’m 7dpo but not feeling very hopeful as my temps aren’t super high and doesn’t look much different to previous cycles but I plan to drown my sorrows in all the food and drink! And try to start fresh in January and eat healthier.

Thank you everyone for being so kind to me regardless of your journeys. I’m so sorry if I have upset anyone- I fully fully understand.

I haven’t much of a journey, we have been so so blessed early on. I came off the pill in October and the first month I just let my body recover from the hormones we weren’t trying but also weren’t preventing. After 37 days I took my first period and started tracking with OPKs. I’m due to get married soon so was fully aware it could take 6 months before I even ovulated after the pill. I had really bad pains from ovulation day right through to 8dpo so came on here 5 days ago to ask everyone about their aches and pains post pill. I didn’t have any real symptoms after 8dpo until yesterday morning and I had a shooting pain through one of nipples and my boobs started to feel more pain just behind my nipples and I took an easy@home strip test yesterday afternoon just to get it out of my system and I was surprised to see this was my BFP.

My fiancé and I have been together from we were 18 we’re now 26- we were due to get married in November but with the lockdown we postponed it til the start February. I plan on telling him on Christmas Day and our families the day of our wedding if everything goes well.

@Luna57 so were you not temping or anything? Did you get a peak on OPK? So intrigued! So exciting that you got such clear lines on ICs so early! How do you plan to tell your OH on Xmas day, are you going to wrap the test up? Gives me goosebumps!
