I loooove that your temps did exactly what mine did too. So good that AF hasn't arrived at CD26!! Happy for you! When your temps increased last month, was it is to a gradual high or did it jump up again and then AF started? Because if this pattern is new, it could mean good news!

Ours definitely look like the beginning of a triphasic chart. My temps last month started dropping at 7DPO, so it still being high at 9DPO is such an achievement for me and no sign of AF either although my vulva feels AF'y in a weird way. My pulse and breathing rate have also continued to shoot up!! If temps don't tell you AF is coming, pulse rate defo will because it always starts falling a few days before AF for me.

I do suspect chemical but no BFP so can't confirm and nothing else changed that cycle so I can't explain it. Hormones were defo the reason I never took the pill, it plays such a big part in changing your reproductive cycle that of course it would have an affect on cycles after you come off them! 45 day cycles sound like a nightmare - especially when TTC too.

I do have a FRER! I'm always so scared to use it though. I always use rubbish ICs which probably aren't the best thing but I will use my FRER with you!

I like predicting what my temps will do with DH. What do you think will happen tomorrow? I think both our temps will go up again 😆

I agree! If it's not green, then it's safe to eat (except for in this case!) I knew I was taking a big risk with it but it did look safe! Clearly not! I woke up yesterday feeling a bit bleh but much better now. I'm fully recovered from my self-inflicted ailment 😂

In my naive state, I'd say your temp spike was due to implantation but who knows what's going on in our bodies half the time. Maybe you have a mild fever, although those temps aren't crazy high. What did they do today?

I'd hate to be diagnosed with unexplained infertility! Because then what else can be done! Let's hope the only reason is that we're unlucky and it will happen eventually! Although I still think I have lots of NK cells because I'm rarely ill (unless I'm poisoning myself with contaminated bread.) I still have rubella antibodies from my vaccination as a child and apparently the antibodies can disappear after 20 years but mine are still there so I must be super healthy (my unsubstantiated theory).

In 3 months time, we would have been trying for 12 months and officially become classed as infertile 😭😭 I don't think having no money makes it easier. It just means we're getting closer to infertile status with no resolution! We're going to try and replicate DH's sperm count from last cycle, where he didn't ejaculate for 4 days before providing the sample. So we'll DTD CD8, then CD12 (or the day of a +ve OPK) and maybe the day after ovulation.

Ok, so good news about the contrast MRI. Since you're doing the MRI, then it's worth having it done properly so you can get conclusive results the first time round. Bad news that you're not a huge priority. Do you think you'll ask your consultant to bump you up the priority list? I remember you did similar for one of your tests but I guess this is different because it's outside of the fertility clinic's remit.

Leaky nipples have been the strangest symptom to date! I just understand where it came from!!

Yeah, my AF ended a few days ago. It was very normal. I've started getting some twinges in my ovary so I think I'll be ovulating from my left this cycle. I upped my dose of soy from 120/120/160/160/200 to 120/160/160/200/200 to see if it would change things.

Yeah, that's her! You're right about the pattern being too big. I was thinking the same things about some of the fabrics I sent you yesterday, but I found a site that sells very luxurious fabrics for upholstery. I've ordered samples from them. They're very pricy but if I'm going for luxury, then I'd need to invest in quality. I like the Nellie collection (there are more colours if you do a search for nellie) and from 1 meter of fabric I should be able to make 12 makeup bags. The £67 price tag is steep but for 12 bags it'll cost £5.60 per bags. Factoring in lining, zipper, etc, it'll maybe come to about £10 per bag and I'd sell for at least £25 maybe, up to £35.

Temp went down a bit today so no fever and highly unlikely its implantation! I've pretty much come to expect anything now 🤷

There's no such thing as 'unexplained infertility', they just haven't found the cause! Some people have to go private to get additional tests done that are not available on the NHS, to find out what the reason is. But you want to exhaust the NHS tests first.

Owww hopefully you won't make it to the 12 month infertile club! We're lucky that both our partners can 'perform' on demand 😂, so it makes it easier to choose which days to DTD!

I think if I've still heard nothing by 3 months, then I'll contact the clinic and ask if they'll note me as a priority. Although they may find it difficult because my fertility problems aren't life threatening or causing pain, so they might struggle to justify prioritising me.

What cycle day are you on now? I think you'll get leaky nipples again with increasing your SI, I reckon they were the cause last time! 😂

Wowzers that's very pricey fabric! But they do look luxury and if you can make a few small items out of it, hopefully they'd be enough left for profit! Don't forget postage and packing costs and tools to create the items, although you've probably already got quite a few things.

I hope the NHS moves quick for me. I'd like to at least get my tubes checked because that's the only physical thing left to check then everything else will be hormone and blood tests I'm assuming. Plus a HSG is expensive so I'd want that done on the NHS.

Yeah, I think I'd need to think about luxurious looking packaging. I probably won't go high-end as I won't be able to afford the fabrics needed, like 100% silk and other natural fibres, so I'll aim for a mid-end market, like Dune for example. I'm aiming for at least a 50% margin, so if the product costs me £10 to make, I'd want a £10 profit, but my goal is 67%. What do your profits look like?

Decided to override the settings as FF thought ovulation was on CD17 but I'm pretty sure it happened on CD18. Just realised I'm gonna be on my period over my birthday and party days 😭, hopefully it's not a painful one!

Thankfully the HSG scan does tend to be quick, after your consultation they'll request the appointment with the x-ray department, then you'll receive a letter probably 2-3 weeks later asking you to call them when your af starts. I wonder if they'll accept the test results you've had privately, or if they'll want to do their own tests 🤔. I guess it probably wouldn't hurt having them redone. Did you manage to get the day 3 FSH and LH tests done?

It makes little difference how often I chase them, I think if I wait until 3 months has passed, then they can't get shitty with me (I'm sure they still will). I probably won't be able to start IVF until after the wedding, without me having to delay anything!

Not much has happened with wedding planning lately, most things are booked now, the next key things are sending out invitations and finding the dress! My Maid of Honour will get to meet my Bridesmaids at the party so that will be good 😊.

50% profit sounds great, you'd be doing well if you can get that! I have no idea how much profit I'm making, if any. There's so many different products and tools involved, it will take me a while to work it out. I don't think the cards are profitable, so I'm gonna try and move onto bigger things like guestbooks and other wedding stationery.

I hope they accept our private results. The SA is pretty up to date and we've asked the GP to add it to DH's medical file so hopefully it'll get relayed to the fertility department. I spoke to my GP about the LH and FSH tests being on the wrong day and she said it didn't matter as they were just initial tests that had to be done (seems kind of pointless though if the results aren't accurate!) Maybe the fertility department will conduct their own tests anyway.

Your temps are looking good! They're pretty stable. You could very much have an 11 day LP again! Not much is happening with my chart. My temps are low but stable too. I haven't checked for fertile signs yet but it's still a bit early.

Do you really think it'd would take that long to finally have IVF? A whole year is so far 🙁 But I suppose it's good because you'd prefer it that way anyway because of the wedding. Do you have the option of having the treatment done through the NHS at a private clinic? It might be quicker that way.

Is your MOH a friend while your bridesmaids are family?

My personal laptop 🙁🙁 If the data is stored locally on a hard drive then it won't be safe. Hard drives don't last forever and can fail, so it's good to back up on another hard drive or on the cloud.

That's quite poor from the GP regarding the FSH and LH tests as they have to be done on cycle days 2-4, otherwise you can't use the results. Maybe she thinks the fertility clinic will just redo them anyway, so it's just a formality to get you referred.

From what I've experienced so far, yes I do think it will take a year to start IVF but that's because I need the MRI, then another consultation, then probably a Laparoscopy, another consultation and then I'll be on the waiting list to start IVF. Hopefully your investigations won't be as complicated or time consuming 🙂. There are no private clinics near us unfortunately, do you know if your fertility clinic is part of an NHS hospital or private hospital?

Yep MOH is a friend, Bridesmaids are my cousin's 😊. My cousin's are quite a bit younger than me and MOH but hopefully everyone will get on okay!

At this point, I'm just happy we were referred quickly. I guess if we waited until the right days for the tests we'd still be waiting for a referral. Do you think if you'd done your referral via your GP, you'd still be waiting to have blood tests done? You definitely did the right thing going private first.

Haha those are our two positions too!!! 😂 DH definitely prefers doggy. I don't really care, it always feels the same for me regardless. Sometimes I am on top but then we'll finish in either of those two position. I'm not even sure if it's worth trying any other positions while TTC. Maybe wheelbarrow 😂😂

Haha well done on backing up your phone. It's worse when you have valuable photos that you can't get back. All of mine on my phone are backed up too and I sometimes get memories from like 3 years ago and it's so nice to see.

Yesterday, a friend and his parents and sister came to visit us. We hosted them with Greek food, not sure they were fans though. They're Indian so probably prefer things a lot spicier. Then I've been working on the website as well as doing research into fabrics. It has been crazy hot. Inside the house is relatively cool so we haven't suffered much. Coventry is quite a drive up! How long did that take? Do you have AC in the car. I'd hate to be doing a long drive in such heat!

My grey rabbit is unwell. I checked them both over today and grey rabbit had hardened eye crusts stuck in his fur, I had to cut it off! He also has dried blood under his chin and the fur there is all gone and his skin is red and sore. I think he's having teeth issues as his teeth sort of sound like they're crunching together and it looks to me like his face may be swollen. We'll have to take him to the vets ASAP. It's always him that's unwell!!! And I know it's because he's stubborn. He must be in pain, poor baby. I don't know if it'll be classed as an emergency, he's not dying so probably no need to call the emergency line but I will try and get an appointment for Monday or Tuesday.

How are your rabbits doing? Are they dealing well with separation?

I wasn't able to do the referral through the GP because we hadn't been TTC for a year (stupidly I was honest). Although because of my history - abdominal surgery and known fertility issues, the GP should have referred me. I checked our CCG guidance and it was wrong of the GP to refuse to refer me. Yeh I think it's easier to go along with what your GP said, the fertility consultant can order more tests if they're not happy.

Haha DP prefers doggy too! I think men see it as more "naughty" so they find it more exciting 😂. I prefer missionary so we do that more often 😂😂. I just googled Wheelbarrow! Omg haha I don't think either of us have the strength to do that, we're both pretty unfit atm 😂😂. Have you ever done that??

Yes you could ask about timescales but I reckon they'll give you a vague answer, they won't want to commit to certain times. I found the time with the consultant always seems rushed, maybe it's because I have so many questions but I would recommend having just a few key questions you want answered. Try and ask your questions early on because if other things are discussed and time runs out, they'll end the appointment. Also ask how you can find out test results, so you're not needing to chase them!

What's a typical Greek dish? I'm not keen on spicy so I'd probably like Greek food! Did you find anymore fabrics you think will be suitable? Yes thankfully we have air con! I wouldn't have been able to cope without it 🥵🥵🥵. It took 4.5 hrs each way but we did stop off on the way there and on the way back. You could probably do it in 3.5 hrs with no stop.

Oh no! Poor grey bunny ☹️☹️. Did you manage to book him an appointment? Sounds like he's gonna need medication and/or treatment. Hopefully the vets can help him, that must be really uncomfortable, poor thing ☹️. I noticed both our bunnies have wet noses, hopefully it's just a cold and nothing serious.

White rabbit got angry yesterday when we allowed them to see other whilst separated but today when he saw grey rabbit, he wasn't too affected. It's gonna be challenging reintroducing them after the neutering. I hope they don't fight 😕.

Ah yes, I remember you saying you were honest because you were on the pill. You definitely went the right way about it then. If you ever see your GP again, you should let them know they did you a disservice so that they don't do the same to someone else in the future.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll think of a few crucial questions to ask. I might also ask if I can be referred to a private clinic for treatment as there's a few in my area. Maybe even go back to the one I went to initially but via the NHS this time.

Greek food is very mild. They have meats and lots of veg, like aubergines, peppers, etc. Food with pita breads and some rice dishes. Dips and salads. We'll have to serve you Greek food when you come to visit!

All of the fabrics that I ordered from China have arrived. I like 2 out of 3 and will probably start making practise products with some calico before cutting into these fabrics. I'm still waiting for the samples from the expensive place. I'm leaning towards using those fabrics and selling my products at a premium price. Hopefully there's a market for it. I'm also looking into nice looking waterproof lining fabric for the makeup bags. I've seen these:

Af arrived today!

Sounds like it's the start of your fertile period as your CM hasnt fully changed yet. I reckon your OPK will be negative, especially if you haven't seen much EWCM. Hopefully you'll ovulate a bit later this cycle, to give you time to grieve for Double.

It wasn't my normal GP, just the only female that was available. My GP surgery is quite annoying in that you can't request a specific doctor in advance, you just have to go with whoever is available.

I wonder if whoever came up with Kama Sutra actually did all those positions, or if they just did some drawings and thought "oh this would be interesting!". 😂😂

Yay that's exciting the fabrics have arrived! You can starting making things now 😁. I like the 3rd fabric the best, the cameleontextil one. Once you've made practice items, maybe use the fabric you like the least to make the first proper product. That way if things go wrong you won't mind so much!

Yeh it was a long day! Glad DP drove! Are you any closer to getting your DH to have lessons?? It was fine with the babies, I get a bit grossed out with kids, they're always dribbling and making mess! I definitely didn't wake up yesterday expecting one of my rabbits to be put to sleep. DH and I didn't even have time to come to terms with what was happening. The vet literally said, surgery or PTS and I had to make the decision there and then. My heart is broken 💔 I really wish it was dental issues like I first assumed. The good thing was I found the injury early enough so he didn't suffer for too long. I feel mostly sad for his brother, but he seems to be doing well. He's been completely himself. Binkying, running around, eat lots, snoring. Not sure he cares? He was already distancing himself from his brother because he could obviously sense/smell that his brother was sick. It was really sad just before grey rabbit was taken away. I brought him out of his carrier to give him some attention and he ran back in to snuggle with Float, but Float kept turning away from him. So in his last moment, he couldn't even get comfort from his brother 💔 I've cried loads and I'll definitely cry some more. I wish he was still here 💔 After they escaped the first time, I lined the bottom inner edge of their enclosure with wire mesh and I fear he may have gotten himself caught in it and injured himself that way 😭

Yeah, my OPK was -ve yesterday and -ve today so it's definitely still early on in my fertile period. I'm expecting it to turn +ve maybe tomorrow or Friday but I'll need to remember to take some OPKs with me!

My old GP used to be like that. They'd basically assign you whichever doctor was available during the time and date you selected. At my new GP, I have just one doctor that I have my appointments with, which makes it so much easier when I'm trying to get fertility assistance on the NHS and thankfully, she's female! Maybe you can send an email in to the surgery to make the all the doctors aware 😂

That's so awful you had to make a rush decision but I think you made the right one. Even if you had tried the surgery, he still may have passed away ☹️. Lol that's good Float is doing okay, hopefully he'll continue to be happy. I guess you'll never know how Double managed to injure himself but I think he was more prone to illness. So if he didn't get injured/ill this time, something else may have affected him. You did everything you could to keep him safe and happy 😊.

Hopefully when you get pregnant your DH will realise he needs to learn to drive. If you ended up needing a C-section, you can't drive for 6 weeks afterwards. So if he can't drive either, that could get quite difficult.

Didn't feel anymore broodier than I already do, I think it was easier because the babies were a bit older. If there was a newborn that would have really made me yearn for a baby! Have you seen your old neighbours again recently? How old is their little one now?

I think if I did an OPK today, it would be +ve so I'm expecting to ovulate tomorrow. It's a bit of a late one but nothing unusual for me. We DTD yesterday but I think we're done for this cycle. Anything else would be bonus sex. How's your AF going?

I'd like to order some samples of the fabric to see what they feel like, but I guess that isn't possible. I'd have to buy at least one metre. I don't want something that feels plasticky. I guess with waterproof fabrics, it's hard to find something that feels and looks natural.

I drove 3 hours straight yesterday and it annoys me when DH then starts making requests for places to go. Like, no. I'm not your chauffeur 🙄 I'm kind of glad we took the train today, tickets were cheap and parking would have been a nightmare. Do you explore around Devon often?

I haven't seen my old neighbours in a while. Their little one should be 6 months now. I did see my friend and her kid a few weeks back. She was bored at home and came to randomly visit. Her son was very grabby. Everything in his sight he wanted to grab and he's strong! 😂 But he didn't make me feel broody either! I guess for me, it's less about seeing other babies and more about the fact my body isn't doing what it's supposedly built to do and it's annoying!

I also feel tired when it's very hot! Maybe it's quite hard work for our bodies to try and keep us cool, so that uses up energy! We spent most of Friday tidying and reorganising rooms to make more space for the party!

Have you had a peak OPK yet or any other signs to confirm ovulation? Af has finished now yay!

Yeh I think the only materials that are waterproof are made of plastic but lots of polyester clothes feel soft like silk. So I don't think it has to feel plasticy. I guess you won't know until you try the fabric. Could you get the lining from Minerva?

Just keep on mentioning learning to drive to him, in the end he'll get sick of you nagging him and hopefully he'll agree to do it. That's my tactic anyway 😂😂. We've explored Devon a little bit but we tend not to in the tourist season. There's definitely still lots we haven't seen!

I had creamy CM this morning, so I'm assuming I've ovulated. I just don't know when! I'm still getting ovary pain. I've been getting it since Friday, maybe Thursday, so I have no idea when I ovulated. I think either yesterday or Saturday. I probably shouldn't have increased the amount of soy I took, or maybe I was so distraught from Double dying that my body delayed ovulation (though I very much doubt that - I don't think a day of heartbreak is enough!)

I guess this would be the Minerva equivalent but it does look somewhat like plastic. I guess I want something that looks and feels luxurious but is also waterproof. Maybe I'm asking for too much 😞

Yesterday on the motorway, a pigeon flew into my wing mirror and knocked it! The impact was so hard I'm sure the pigeon died straight away! Luckily my mirror is ok but I had to realign it because it was positioned wrong. Have you ever killed anything on the road (by accident of course).

I have my appointment with the NHS next week, so that's something to look forward to. My weight gain is ridiculous but maybe that's what I need to get pregnant! Looks like ovulation happened at some point over the weekend, could you have conceived in Devon?! 😀😀. Being distraught definitely can delay ovulation but I think it has to be severe, sustained stress, so for example, if your DH died, that would probably cause you not to ovulate.

What about something like this? Anything made from polyester (plastic) will be waterproof but this will look luxury and feel soft.

Somehow, despite my very low rise in temps FF has managed to give me crosshairs. So, I'm apparently 3DPO. But I could also easily be 2DPO. Tbh, the ovary pain/cramps that I'm still feeling has really thrown me because it has made it harder for me to confirm when I ovulated. At least your AF didn't disrupt your party at all!

I've been looking at gorgeous satin fabrics 😍 They definitely feel like luxury and the colours that I've seen have been gorgeous too! No suede on it's own isn't waterproof but I guess you can coat it in water resistant stuff. I guess similar to oilcloth. That's just coated/waxed cotton but it's waterproof.

My nipples have been so sore since 2DPO, so I guess it's going to be one of those cycles. Luckily no leaky nipples so far! I've also started using the progesterone cream. Only 40mg per day so not sure how much of an impact it will have on my overall progesterone levels but let's see! My temps are still rising very slowly so I've come to the conclusion that I'm just a naturally slow riser and nothing I do can change that.

I'll have to come to you to help me make creative decisions. I've been looking at zippers and have a few in mind. I'm thinking about using gunmetal black zippers for all my products.
