Hey @ButterscotchBabe! Continuing our chat here 😁

I loooove that your temps did exactly what mine did too. So good that AF hasn't arrived at CD26!! Happy for you! When your temps increased last month, was it is to a gradual high or did it jump up again and then AF started? Because if this pattern is new, it could mean good news!

Ours definitely look like the beginning of a triphasic chart. My temps last month started dropping at 7DPO, so it still being high at 9DPO is such an achievement for me and no sign of AF either although my vulva feels AF'y in a weird way. My pulse and breathing rate have also continued to shoot up!! If temps don't tell you AF is coming, pulse rate defo will because it always starts falling a few days before AF for me.

I do suspect chemical but no BFP so can't confirm and nothing else changed that cycle so I can't explain it. Hormones were defo the reason I never took the pill, it plays such a big part in changing your reproductive cycle that of course it would have an affect on cycles after you come off them! 45 day cycles sound like a nightmare - especially when TTC too.

I do have a FRER! I'm always so scared to use it though. I always use rubbish ICs which probably aren't the best thing but I will use my FRER with you!

I like predicting what my temps will do with DH. What do you think will happen tomorrow? I think both our temps will go up again 😆

I thought I saw a super faint line on the FRER I took at 10DPO but because I had to look hard to see it, I concluded there was nothing there. Now that it's been two days and it's dried and I've looked again there is a very faint line, however that could just be an evap now! If AF doesn't start I'll test with an FRER tomorrow. I'll send you a high quality image on whatsapp of the 10DPO test, I don't think it will mess with the image quality on there. I could also be going crazy so please tell me if I am!

Day 1 is the day you have full red flow, so if you're 12DPO today and your af doesn't start until tomorrow, then you'll have had a 12 day LP, so it's a small improvement. 12 days is perfectly long enough, you wouldn't want it much longer, else it just takes longer to move onto the next cycle. But this cycle isn't over yet!

Don't be silly! Of course you're supposed to have kids and you will do. It just takes a little longer for some of us. You've got to keep positive, we could be on this journey for a while yet!

I'm excited and nervous, I had got used to the fact I would need IVF to conceive and was just going through the motions each cycle but this temp increase has given me a little hope. It's annoying though because it just means it will be harder when af arrives.

The clinic called back to say my notes are still with the doctor. The lady I spoke to said other documents had gone ontop of mine in the doctor's tray, so she's moved mine back on top. I said I'd been told my other results by a nurse but apparently only a doctor can give AMH results 🤔. So still awaiting a call back... I can't book the HSG scan until af starts and I haven't had a letter yet for the next ultrasound.

If we have children when we buy a house then I'd definitely look for somewhere near a good school but if we haven't then it won't be a priority.

Sounds like you've got it all planned out, it will look lovely when it's done! Do you plan on doing the work over the summer? Unless you like gardening, I would recommend planting low maintenance plants/flowers. Also best to get British native, or you could introduce invasive species that become a nightmare to manage. British native plants are also better for the environment and wildlife 🙂.

unCliche · 27/04/2021 20:53

A 12 day LP would be fine if I didn't have the spotting because spotting just means my progesterone is dropping. But the fact AF hasn't started is a good thing I suppose. But my temps and RHR going down pretty much confirms AF is imminent. With the spotting today, AF will start either tonight or tomorrow.

I just get a bit sad when AF starts. I was so sure it would be starting today and it seemed like today's temps confirmed it. But then I felt really sad for myself because I felt I hadn't giving TTC a good shot before considering IVF. You're so resilient, I can only hope I have as much strength as you going forward.

Aww! I'm excited for you!!! I know how easy it is to get your hopes up. But the let down can feel so soul destroying. I definitely go through the motions during my cycles. I get really sad when I start spotting. Then when nothing happens, I feel a bit hopeful, then spotting starts again, then AF and then my heart breaks.

My heart palpitations are still happening. It's weird. My heart beats really hard for maybe one or two beats then goes back to normal. And it happens randomly throughout the day.

This receptionist/nurse sounds much nicer. It was kind of her to follow up with you and put your documents back on top. So hopefully some time this week you'll be getting your results back! But it seems like your DH's SA results is still a while away!

Do you think your first home will be lived in long term or do you see yourself moving after a few years? DH has these grand plans of having a rear extensions built so looks like we'll be here a while.

I want to start the work literally now. The weather is warming up so it means I can actually go outside without freezing. I did a lot of manual labour cutting down the tree branches yesterday and that warmed me up quite a bit. Yes, I'll go for flowers that'll grow every season without me having to do anything. Have you grown any flowers?

I'm a bit anxious so woke up early. Luckily I was able to get a temp reading, which has stayed flat at 36.83. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing but at least it didn't drop further. RHR did fall though. My body is defo teasing me. I'll test when I get out of bed later. Good luck today!

Good to see your temp still high! I really need to pee but can't get outta bed until I've taken my temp at 7. Guessing you haven't done a test yet?

unCliche · 28/04/2021 06:33

Just done it. Only an indent line so BFN. Just waiting for AF to start now. Only 30 mins to go for you! All the best!

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 28/04/2021 06:41

Oh no another indent line? Does it definitely not have any colour in it? With your temp still high I wouldn't expect your af to start today, maybe tomorrow ☹️☹️

ButterscotchBabe · 28/04/2021 07:11

BFN for me too ☹️☹️

unCliche · 28/04/2021 09:49

Well that sucks for us!

Yeah, the line went white but now there's nothing on there. No line, no colour. I guess it wasn't meant to be!

Any spotting for you so far? Mine has sort of stopped and I'm yet to see red blood. My natural levels of progesterone should have dropped enough to bring my temp down. The suspense is killing me!! 😂

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 28/04/2021 16:58

Crazy busy day today, taking a break but will have to carry on working this evening!

No spotting yet for me, so looks like I'm gonna have at least a 10 day LP 🙂. How's today been for you? Anymore spotting or other symptoms?

Don't feel sad for not TTC for longer before going for IVF, with your DH's lower sperm count and your hormones not quite right, it was always going to be harder for you. Why put up with that if there's another option.

How has your heart/chest been today? Hopefully you're not still getting palpitations.

Still no call from the clinic 🙄🙄

It depends how big the house is and if we outgrow it. I really want somewhere with a big garden so that we've got room to extend if we want. It also depends if we like the area after we've been there for a while! It will be lovely to do your own extensions and redo the garden, you can make it perfectly how you want it. I'd also imagine you'd add value to the property.

We've put wildflower seed in the garden which grows a range of flowers, that's pretty in the summer and its low maintenance. Some packs will grow back each year, others only last one year. The only other flowers/plants I've had are indoor ones and they've all died 😕. You could also have some potted outdoor plants to complement the ones in the ground 😊.

ButterscotchBabe · 28/04/2021 17:19

Just went to the loo and the toilet paper had a slight tinge on it, so looks like I'm starting to spot, af will probably start tomorrow

unCliche · 29/04/2021 10:33

No AF, go away! Hopefully that's kept AF away for you! If not then yay on your 10 day LP and yay having our cycles close together again! We might even ovulate close together.

Yes, I started AF last night. Do I mark yesterday as CD1 or today? I thought AF would be crazy heavy since I used progesterone but I don't think it's made any difference to my flow (as far as I can see). It probably means the progesterone made no difference to my womb lining. Oh well! One cycle down, two more to go then IVF! I'm worried we'd need ICSI with DH's count though.

Yeah you're right. I'm just viewing it as hiring a professional conceiver, the same way I'd hire a builder to construct an extension for me since I can't do either myself. If your AF has started, you'll be booking in a HSG scan soon. So that's progress.

Palpitations were constant yesterday but seems reduced this morning so could be because of the drop in progesterone. Maybe it was too much for my body? Or could just be how my body responds to it. How are you feeling today? AF is pretty chill for me, no cramps or anything.

You got your AMH results yet?? Do you think if your results are above 12 that you'd enquire at ABC? You'd be able to have the short protocol there.

A big garden is great. But it becomes hard work when you have to mow the lawn 😂 I managed to mow half the garden and I'll have to do the other half over the weekend. Extension potential is important too. You can add value to the house if you can add more bedrooms. If I manage to make our garden look decent, you can hire me for my services 😂😂😂 At least not being pregnant means I can chop down my trees!

Haha I try hard not to kill indoor plants but I suppose they were just made to die 🤷‍♀️ nothing I can do about it. Wildflower garden sounds beautiful. Defo share some pics when they start blooming again.

Is there a looming deadline at work? Sucks that you've had to work until late. Is everything sorted now?

OP posts:
unCliche · 29/04/2021 10:33

Also, I didn't cry when AF started!!!!!!

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 29/04/2021 15:19

Af started this morning unfortunately ☹️ so it's a 10 day LP for me, which isn't too bad, hopefully it means my hormones are improving. It's pretty light atm (although heavier than spotting) so I think proper af will start tomorrow.

Well done for not crying! You're getting stronger 😊. Save them for tears of happiness when you get your BFP!

What time did your af start? If it was before 11pm I would record yesterday, if it was later then record today.

From what I've read, progesterone doesn't affect womb lining, these things do:

Estrogen deficiency
Poor blood flow to the uterus
Uterine fibroids
Adhesions or scar tissue in the uterus, caused by trauma or infection
Hydrosalpinx
Chronic endometritis (infection of the endometrial cells)

Estrogen and progesterone are always balancing each other out, so when your estrogen is high, your progesterone is low and vice versa. So possibly by increasing your progesterone that will have lowered estrogen further and could have contributed to a thinner womb lining. A low dose aspirin will increase blood flow to the uterus, so could be something to try. I don't think you have any of the other things mentioned above.

Do ABC offer ICSI? If they do they'll be an additional charge. They'll probably want a SA and then advise you if they think ICSI is needed.

I haven't booked the HSG yet, I'm waiting till af gets heavier so there's no doubt. I'll probably ring them tomorrow.

Hmm seems the palpitations could be related to the progesterone, I guess you'll only know if you take them again. At least your symptoms have eased for now 🙂.

Still no AMH results, trying really hard not to get angry at the clinic. I need to find out if I've got a hydrosalpinx, ABC wouldn't take me on with fluid in my tubes because it massively reduces the chance of success. So I'd bring down their success rates 😂.

Haha I hate gardening, I just like the idea of having a big open space for childen to run around in (and for me to kick them outside when they're being noisy 😂😂). Yes when you get pregnant your DH will have to do all the gardening 😂😂.

Theres just a lot of programmes going on at the moment, grant schemes for projects that businesses or charities can apply for. Also got a couple of difficult customers causing me problems 😂😂. How's your work been this week?

9DPO Symptom Spotting
unCliche · 29/04/2021 17:20

That's what my AF was like last night. Very light but more than spotting but I marked it as CD1 anyway. Even though your LP was much better this cycle, I'm still sorry AF started. So what's the plan for your next cycle? Continue as normal? DH and I have tried the DTD EOD so now I want to try DTD everyday, multiple times a day. Might as well go out with a bang (or 10) before I start the IVF 😂

I think the BFN prepared me for AF. It was only a matter of time before it started, and I also joined an ABC IVF thread on the infertility board, so I'm starting to feel more excited about it all. Have you joined any threads on there?

My AF has gotten heavy since I woke up. I fill my menstrual cup up in about 2 hours but I wouldn't say it's heavier than usual, it's just at my normal levels of heavy which I suppose is a good thing as my womb lining must already be where it needs to be. I'll just see if I end up bleeding for longer. I do have a fibroid. A 1cm one but I don't think that'd make much of a difference. If anything, I think I have an estrogen dominance and the pessaries did nothing to change that since I started spotting on them! I wish DH's sperm count was normal so I could see if my progesterone was actually a problem. I've never even had the chance to experience a chemical (not that I want to) but at least I'd know that my eggs are defo being fertilised and trying to implant.

I was thinking about taking baby aspirin in case I had thyroid issues as it wouldn't hurt. But I'll need a thyroid blood test for ABC IVF anyway so it'll probably be better to get a proper diagnosis than self medicating for something I may not have.

Yeah, they do do ICSI. It's a bit more expensive 😔 so I'm really hoping DH's sperm are good enough. I was thinking about using DH's previous SA results. I think when he gives a sample after the egg collection, they'll decide if the sample is good enough for IVF, if not, then it'll have to be ICSI. Either way, we'll prepare and budget for ICSI. I'd probably end up with OHSS so might have to freeze my eggs for a cycle and that's another cost! We only have about £4k 😭 but hopefully, by the time we need to pay the full price, we'll have added to our savings with May's payday.

I'm hoping the IVF will kickstart my fertility and by the time it's time to start TTC #2, DH would have lost weight and boosted his count so we can try naturally.

On what CD do you need to do the HSG, or does it not matter? If you didn't have hydrosalpinx and your AMH was above 12, then would you enquire at ABC? 😂 IVF bypasses the tubes so as long as the fluid isn't leaking into your womb, it might be ok?

That's what I'm picturing too! The kids running around outside, a huge jungle gym, paddling pool, water fights. It'll be nice! I want to create an adults area too where the kids can't play in. When I'm pregnant, I'll oversee everything while DH does the manual labour 😁

Difficult customers are the worst and you can't even tell them to go away. Hopefully today was better for you? Work is ok. I got recognition twice during today's UK team meeting. I got one two meetings ago when I got gifted that day off. At this point, they need to think about giving me a pay rise 😂😂😂 How are things with your DP and his job?

ButterscotchBabe · 30/04/2021 10:50

No plans to do anything different this cycle, it doesn't feel like we're TTC anymore, because we can't, just feels like we're waiting to get treatment. If you're going for DTD everyday, you might not want to start too early 😂😂.

Rang the fertility clinic again this morning (4th time) for AMH result, when they asked for my name the lady said 'oh you've rang a lot'. I must be getting a reputation 😂😂. I said it's causing me a lot of distress not knowing and asked if someone could let me know today, she said she'll see if a junior doctor can call me back. So now waiting for that call!

That's good you've got something to be excited about now and you've got a timescale to work towards. Yeh those threads on the infertility board are really helpful, they've taught me a lot about the whole process. I was going to join a Clomid thread but haven't now as I don't know if I'll be given it.

How's your af today? Is it painful or just heavy? Mine has got heavier now and was painful last night.

Fertility clinic just rang me back woohoo! My result is 5, they said 3-8 is considered low. So unfortunately I wouldn't be eligible for ABC ☹️. The AMH is an indicator of egg quantity, not egg quality, so because of my age they don't think this result should affect my chances of conceiving. But it does mean I need to move quickly whilst I've hopefully still got some good eggs.

It might be safer to do ICSI because at least then you know every egg you produce will get fertilised. If they try for normal IVF and the sperm don't manage to fertilise many, you could end up with less embryos. Yep the downside of having good egg reserves means you're at a higher risk of OHSS but some doctors say you've got a higher chance of conceiving with a FET rather than fresh because your body has had a chance to rest and come off the stimulation drugs. Also getting pregnant worsens the OHSS.

If you've got a bank of frozen embryos it probably wouldn't be worth trying naturally for too long for No.2, the cost of a FET is much cheaper than the egg collection process. But you never know, you might conceive easily after the first one!

The HSG needs to be done before ovulation, so because I ovulate between CD15 - CD20, they'll need to do it CD14 latest. I've called this morning but the person I need to speak to wasn't available, so I'm waiting a call back!

Haha yep it sounds like a pay rise might be coming your way! I also got a recognition award yesterday, they gave me £50 worth of Amazon vouchers 😊. They also did the same to two other people in our team, so it wasn't just me. Progress has finally been made with DP's job! He's got a staff number, a contract and his IT equipment should be arriving next week 😀😀.

unCliche · 30/04/2021 18:24

Aww it's a shame it isn't "TTC" for you guys anymore. But I suppose you can use this time to relax and enjoy each others company before all the medication and bodily-invasion starts. I've told DH we'll start DTD 3 days before ovulation and finish 2 days after. That's 6 solid days of baby making exercise, including day of ovulation 😂 If that doesn't work, then the cycle after that we'll DTD every single day 😂😂 Then after that, IVF hopefully 🤞 I'm actually ok with a March baby. It seems like March is my lucky month so maybe it's a sign 😁

Yaaay you finally got your results! Absolutely hilarious that they know who you are because you've called in so much 😂😂 but your persistence got things moving! Hopefully they won't be as slow with getting your IVF started. How are you feeling about your result? Will you think about potentially freezing some eggs?

I suppose whether or not you're given clomid hinges on your scan results. If they can book you in for that very soon then hopefully by the time your next cycle comes around, you'll have some sort of treatment plan in place. Do you have any idea of NHS IVF wait times?

My AF is fine, pain free and a good flow (whatever that means 😂). Sorry yours has been painful. When you were on the vitamins they were painless right? You could look into starting some of the vitamins again.

Yep, I've read the same regarding OHSS. Looking at costs, ICSI would be £3700 and a FET would be an additional £750 I think. I am quite worried about OHSS but I hope they'll be able to manage it. You have to go into the clinic every 2 or so days to monitor follicle growth so if they can stop my ovaries from going crazy, I'd say yes to a fresh transfer. I'd like to have at least 2 frozen embryos for future pregnancies although I'd still want to try naturally to see if it would work.

Do you think after your first is born that you'd try to do a FET or another round of IVF to conceive #2? At abc, the initial embryo freezing fee is for two years storage so I'd probably wait until #1 is a few months old before sticking in their embryo sibling.

Congrats on your recognition! I would have preferred £50 to a shoutout if I'm honest 😂 What you gonna buy? I'd probably get a cat flap 😹 And amazing news about your DP's job! Does he have a start date now?

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 01/05/2021 14:52

So we almost got rabbits today... Pets at home had 2 female rabbits in store. Turns out they've had lots of rabbits over the past couple of weeks, even though when we last went there, they gave the impression they weren't getting any for ages!! These rabbits weren't that cute and ideally I wanted a male so decided against it but instead we bought a hutch, so as soon as they have a rabbit we like, we can get it 😊. I feel a bit sad because I could have had some rabbits running around at home now but hopefully they'll have a cuter male next time. They said they prefer to sell in pairs, so we're considering getting two but I'm worried they won't be as friendly.

We will still 'try' to conceive but it feels like our efforts are futile. I really hope that due to my low egg quantity they won't waste time with clomid and will allow me to go straight to IVF. Unless I've got a hydrosalpinx, then I'll have to have surgery first.

6 solid days of DTD 😱😂, I don't know who that's harder on, you or your DH?! 😂😂

Because the NHS moves so slowly there's no way we'd be starting IVF in July but hopefully I'll be pregnant by the end of this year. So our babies shouldn't be too far apart 😊. Although I don't know what the NHS IVF waiting times are, if it's a year then we'll probably go private.

😂😂😂 They're probably thinking "oh no, not another one of those, 10% of customers..." 😂😕😕. Thing is if I hadn't harassed them I wouldn't know the result by now, they only gave in to get rid of me!

Feeling pretty sad about the result, 5 is pretty shit at my age. I knew the result wouldn't be good because my FSH level was high but I was hoping it would be at least 10. It just means it's really crucial to get those eggs asap whilst there's still hopefully some good ones. Apparently eggs on their own don't do very well with the freezing and defrosting but embryos do much better. So all I can do is hope we can get a few good embryos.

I'd imagine you'd get more than 2 frozen embryos, my guess is you'll get 6/7. You'll probably produce about 20 eggs but they'll be a drop off rate for which ones successfully become embryos.

If after #1 we still have frozen embryos then I'll do a FET for #2. If that doesn't work then we'll have to do IVF again and go through the egg collection process.

Haha I bought a new phone case and some more brown paper for sewing patterns, still got some money left. Also bought a rotary cutter from Minerva, this is gonna make cutting fabric so much easier! Have you got the sewing gear out yet? We'll have to wear something we've made when we meet up 😊👗.

No start date yet for DP but his contract said 23rd April, although he wasn't paid for last month. He'll start when the laptop arrives and hopefully he'll be paid for the whole month.

When are you getting Aski microchipped so she can go outside? Hopefully the bunnies have got more used to her now!

Have you got much planned over the bank holiday weekend? I'm hoping to finish the maxi dress 👗.

unCliche · 02/05/2021 12:33

Spent all of yesterday bringing down a tree so was absolutely exhausted and I'll be spending Greek Easter with friends today so I'll respond shortly. Hopefully tonight, if not, then once I've returned back to Reading tomorrow afternoon/evening as I'll be visiting my grandma as well! Take care 💕

OP posts:
unCliche · 03/05/2021 17:12

Awww! It would have been exciting if you'd gotten rabbits. I think you'd probably find a male + female pair easier to deal with than single gender pairs. You'd just have to be quick to neuter/spay them though. Male rabbits are harder to bond with each other so I was lucky that my boys got along after all the hormonal fighting that happened. Did you get the hutch that you showed me a while back? Also what breeds were the rabbits they had and what will you get instead?

Haha! I think I'll have to suck it up and prepare for the marathon that is due to commence. I might have to use preseed as I know I won't always be in the mood. Are you on CD5 today?

It might be worth finding out approximate wait times for IVF so if you need to go private, you can make a move asap. At least you know how to push for information, so you might as well live up to your reputation and call them until you get the info you need 😂

Fingers crossed you get a good number of embryos when it's time. You're nowhere near 35 so your eggs will still be good, you might even be able to get a few IVF cycles in before your eggs start deteriorating. The way things have been going, I don't think I'll be so lucky 😂 I'll probably get lots of eggs, but only 2 will fertilise or something. Anyway let's wait and see what happens.

My grandma asked about my fertility today. Asked if DH and I had seen a doctor yet. She said it was her duty as a grandmother to ask. I mean, I guess it is strange that I've been married a year and haven't give birth nor am I even a little bit pregnant. I should probably start telling people we're infertile and so kids won't be in our future.

Rotary cutters are great. Definitely buy some spare blades as they blunt after a while. Did you get a cutting mat too? My sewing stuff is still in the garage 😁 One day they'll see the light of day.

Aski will be getting spayed and microchipped on 17th May. So not too long to go now. I think she really wants some freedom so it'll be good for her to get out once she's healed from her surgery. I wouldn't say there's been much progress with the rabbits relationship with her. They still tolerate each others presence but aren't friends.

How was your weekend??

OP posts:
unCliche · 03/05/2021 19:27

Looks like it's time for white rabbit to go. He's chewed through the cables of our recliner sofa. So it's either we get rid of them both or keep them confined indefinitely 😡 so destructive! I'm seriously considering selling them now.

OP posts:
ButterscotchBabe · 03/05/2021 22:37

Oh no naughty bunny!! Does the sofa not recline now? Is there anyway it can be repaired? Would having a garden run help, so during the day they can be outside and then inside they're just in their pen?

This is the hutch we bought, I didn't want one this big but DP did, even though he wasnt getting involved 🙄. Turns out it's 12cm longer than the description! It's 194cm instead of 182cm 😱. So now we're having to have a major clear out and reorganisation of the house!
www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/maple-manor-hutch-for-rabbits-and-guinea-pigs

We've decided to just get one male rabbit, so I'll regularly call or pop in to the store and hopefully they'll get some soon. The current females they have are a mixed breed, part rex and part something else but I can't remember!

Sounds like you've had a full on bank holiday weekend! How was Greek Easter?

Haha we always use preseed, I find it more comfortable 😂. Yes CD5 today, did you end up being 1 or 2 days ahead of me? Your af has probably finished now? Mines gone pretty light.

Yep once I have the next consultation I'll be asking about starting IVF and what the waiting times are. Still haven't got any dates for my next scans though. I rang again on Friday to book the HSG, as no-one called me back. Apparently the correct person wasn't available so now I'm expecting a call tomorrow 🙄.

To have an AMH of 40 (I can't remember your exact number but I think it was around this), shows you have a large quantity of eggs and because you're young, they'll be lots of good ones in there! I think you'll do just fine with IVF and you won't have long to find out!

I'm surprised your Grandma asked if you'd seen a doctor yet, were you expecting her to bring up babies? I hope that didn't make you feel too uncomfortable. Luckily my family haven't asked any questions but I think it's because we're not married yet.

Yes I got a spare blade and a cutting mat, got all the kit now 😉😊.

Do cats personalities change after being spayed? I've read female rabbits become more mellow and less destructive after being spayed. Although being neutered didn't stop white rabbit 😕. I guess cats and rabbits wouldn't normally be friends!

My weekend has been okay thanks, I've made progress on the maxi dress, it's now one piece but it's a bit tight around the bum and thighs! I must have grown since I last took my measurements! 😕😕

ButterscotchBabe · 04/05/2021 12:24

Got my HSG x-ray booked for Friday, shocked they had a slot available that quickly! I was half expecting to be told to call back next month!

😠 No, it doesn't recline at all. Luckily we bought protection so I hope they'll be able to send us spare parts. I'm actually quite fed up. So much effort for so little reward. I love them but at this point they're more trouble than they're worth. Especially white rabbit! He purposely targets the places he knows he's not allowed to go. We blocked underneath the sofa with wood and he'll go there and try and pull the wood out to get underneath and continue causing damage. And grey rabbit is just a miserable little thing. Can you tell I'm really annoyed?

Looks like a good hutch. More than enough space for a single rabbit. Definitely a good move to get one or else they end up really unsocial like mine 😂 I might create an outdoor setup for them so that they're permanently outdoors and I wont have to see them.

Greek Easter was good. Spent the day at DH's friends with some other couples too and then we stayed the night. Visited my grandma yesterday which was nice. Definitely wasn't expecting her to bring up babies but I just get the impression everyone in my family got pregnant so easily so I just feel a bit broken. DH was saying today that he really wants us to go for IVF as all the NHS rules and requirements causes a lot of mental health struggles and I guess with his BMI and sperm count, he worries he'd be the one holding us back. So next month, I could be pregnant.

Yeah, I'm just a day ahead of you. Let's hope for a CD15 ovulation for you and CD16 ovulation for me so we can be cycle twins again. This might be one of the last times we can have chats about our cycles. AF was a good length and pretty much cramp free. How was yours?

Amazing! Yaaay! Friday is so soon. Thank goodness they were really quick to book you in. Do you need to do anything to prepare for it?

I'll be having my baseline scan on CD3 of my cycle with abc ivf on 24th May. I hope they'll be able to see all the follicles. I might call and see if they have an earlier appointment and potentially change locations to Oxford as it's closer.

I'm not sure. But Aski isn't in heat so she's currently the unhormonal version of herself so she'd probably stay the same. With white rabbit, it's not because he has or hasn't been neutered. It's because he likes to do things he's not allowed to do. He's defiant and enjoys breaking the rules. His brother is nothing like him. He follows rules!

Haha! Aww you're going to have to let your dress out or lose weight! Whichever is quickest 😂 I'll probably spend the evenings sorting out the garden. We have lots of wood to incinerate and concrete to remove.

Aww, they might prefer being outside as they were outside before? Maybe try getting some extra chew toys or edible things that help with their instinct to knaw/chew. Fingers crossed you're able to get the sofa repaired!

Fertility is a complex thing, there could be absolutely nothing wrong and it just hasn't happened yet, it could be something very simple to fix, or it could be something rare and complicated. Until you've exhausted all tests and treatments, you just won't know what the issue is (or if there is one). But to save your sanity in the meantime, it's probably best to go for IVF and it's great your DH is very supportive of doing that.

DP very much wants us to have IVF, especially now knowing my egg reserves are low, he doesn't want us wasting time on Clomid.

My af was painful the first couple of days but since then it's been much lighter and painfree, so overall not too bad!

The consultant rang me this evening in response to my email asking to have an MRI instead of the HSG scan. It's not within the approved CCG fertility treatment so she can't authorise it straight away but she has requested this for me. Only problem is the HSG is booked for Friday, so if she doesn't hear back by Thursday, I'll have to have it anyway. They've told me I must use protection from now until the procedure 😂 and I need to bring a urine sample.

As you don't know exactly when CD3 of your next cycle will be, will that affect you starting IVF on the 24th May? By starting, does that mean having the first stimulation injection?

Haha can't let the dress out, there's no extra fabric, I'll have to lose weight, doh!

Will you have a fire to burn the wood? Could make for a good evening party!
