@Curiosity101

I'm not sure if this will help or not but I read this today- it's from expecting better, which is a very good read!

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and feeling nauseous fairly consistently but it's mostly mild!

Oh @Curiosity101 sounds not so fun! And must be even harder when you have DS to look after as well. Hopefully it eases soon, did you have this as well with your first pregnancy? It's very exciting, I mustn't get my heart set on anything but the new build ive seen would be a dream! So fingers crossed. I just hope ours sells pretty soonish.

@mackjm20 Ah that's interesting it's happened to me before I had a 24 cycle once I was like ??? But then after that the cycles were normal again, could be anything, stress, diet, exersise.. have you done anything different this month? And good to know I may pick your brains at some point haha!!

Welcome ladies @princesscallie @princesscallie are you both on first cycle?

OP posts:
sunflowersaremyfav93 · 20/01/2021 20:36

@Curiosity101 I meant to say as well - must be reassuring that the scan went well I know what you mean about the spotting and I'd feel the same really hoping it passes soon.

@wrensandrobins Thanks, I really appreciate the thought. Unfortunately it's like a living hell. I just hope it doesn't develop into full blown HG. 🥺 With my first pregnancy it was weeks 6-14 and only fully went away at week 18 😔, but it's definitely a lot worse this time round. Also having bleeding so early on after the abruption last time 😔, it's gonna be a long old slog.

princesscallie · 20/01/2021 20:46

@sunflowersaremyfav93

Yes its technically my first cycle. We literally decided on Sunday to try and I was on day 14 of my cycle so we dtd Sunday night and this morning. See what happens. I haven't been on contraception for over 2 years so don't have to wait for anything to come out of my system.

wrensandrobins · 20/01/2021 20:46

@Curiosity101 bless you! I hope you are feeling better soon, I bet it's very draining, take it as easy as you can

sunflowersaremyfav93 · 20/01/2021 20:54

That's so exciting! @princesscallie are you pretty good in the TWW or will you be tempted to test early?

OP posts:
Kayeyeem · 20/01/2021 20:55

@princesscallie Sore boobs, head aches, extremely tired, feeling nauseous and bloating. It could be all in my head of course as I've been here before, the anxiety of the wait! It took 18 months to conceive my youngest so I'm not that hopeful lol

Kayeyeem · 20/01/2021 20:57

@sunflowersaremyfav93 Yes it's my first cycle. Hoping I'm not just imagining things!

princesscallie · 20/01/2021 21:01

@sunflowersaremyfav93

That's so exciting! *@princesscallie* are you pretty good in the TWW or will you be tempted to test early?
No I won't test. I was actually almost 7 weeks on my first before I tested. And I was 5 weeks on my 2nd! Didn't want to admit it.😀
CookieMonster3001 · 21/01/2021 11:21

@mackjm20 oh I am sorry AF arrived! But at least she is early so can crack on with the next cycle. You are doing amazing with your weight loss and will be able to achieve so much in the next 3 weeks! If this is the first time AF has arrived this early, I wouldnt worry too much. They tend to say its common to have a cycle or two go a bit wonky.

@curiosity101 I am so sorry you are so ill at the moment, but on a positive, I am glad your scan went well! My sister is also super poorly at the moment so can imagine how straining it must be!

@princesscallie welcome to the group! 3rd baby, wow so exciting! My tips, use OPKS, maybe do BBT if you fancy (great way to confirm ovulation) and start on your folic acid and vit D. You are good with your TWW waiting until 5 weeks!! Blimey, I am only 7DPO and had to pee quickly without thinking this morning so I wasnt tempted to test haha!

@kayeyeem welcome! Another 3rd baby!! 2 days late is exciting, fingers crossed you have caught first time! Your symptoms do sound promising, when are you thinking to test?

7DPO for me today. Still mild cramping down there and lower back pain. Thats about it for me though. Had stabby boob pains last couple of days, but that seems to have calmed down a bit. I was so close to testing today but I really just want to wait till next week!! I figured as soon as my FMU is peed out, I cant test till the next day anyway haha. Last time I had a BFN at 9DPO and BFP on 11DPO, so I want to wait till at the very least 11DPO which is Monday.

mackjm20 · 21/01/2021 13:59

Hey all :) Friday tomorrow thank god what a week :)

AF is now in full flow lol but dh is being so lovely bless him :)

@Curiosity101 how are you feeling? X

@wrensandrobins are you doing okay? X

@princesscallie @Kayeyeem so exciting you are both trying for number 3 and on first cycle fingers crossed for you! Fairplay waiting to test I test so early each cycle lol!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 so weird isn’t it i was like what the heck! It randomly happened in nov too 26 day cycle so going to keep a close eye I think the diet exercise or work stress could all be to blame haha!

@CookieMonster3001 thank you :) yessss sole focus until the 3rd now is weight loss! Fingers crossed I can keep lowering the bmi :) as the short cycle happened randomly in November too I’m upping my vit c lots of oranges :) have also ordered vit c and calcium tablets to go alongside the iron b12 vit d and folic I’m already taking hahah I will be rattling soon! How are you getting on :) 7dpo today? When are you going to test? Ahhhh I honestly keep thinking each day I really really hope it’s your month :) xxx

mackjm20 · 21/01/2021 14:01

@CookieMonster3001 just seen your response to testing above :) 11dpo sounds good eek fingers crossed! Also all potential symptoms! Sending every bit of positive energy your way :) x

Pebbleinthesand · 21/01/2021 14:08

Not been on this thread since before Christmas, which feels like a lifetime ago now. How's everyone doing?

I think (tentatively) that I may have got a faint positive test this morning 🙏🤞. Keeping everything crossed that it sticks and that I'll get a darker line when I test again in the morning.

Kayeyeem · 21/01/2021 14:25

@CookieMonster3001 I'm roughly 13DPO so think I might test Saturday. I'm scared though lol.
Good luck to you for Monday!

@Pebbleinthesand Eek! 😀 keeping everything crossed for you when you test again tomorrow!

CookieMonster3001 · 21/01/2021 14:55

@mackjm20 be careful with the vit C. I only say that because back in the day when I used to go uni, I used to take loads of vit C tablets to help my period come (worked most of the time)...I had read it somewhere so worth just checking it out and making sure you not having too much of it.

@Pebbleinthesand lovely to hear from you and hopefully with some good news!!! Keep us up to date. Fingers crossed for you!!

@Kayeyeem oo how exciting Saturday isn't long away!! Let us know how it goes!

TMI alert: I just had a load of creamy whitey/yellowy CM. I got this last cycle on 9DPO and then got my BFP at 11DPO. I am not sure if this is a good sign so trying not to get too excited!! I also had a really vivid dream last night that I took a test and I got a dye stealer BFP.. gosh I really hope I'm pregnant!!

mackjm20 · 21/01/2021 15:52

@Pebbleinthesand that’s amazing news keeping everything crossed for you how many dpo are you? Ahh how exciting :) what cycle is this for you? Ahhh I really hope tomorrow is darker for you :)

@CookieMonster3001ah thank you for that! When I googled how to lengthen luteal phase it says vitamin c on the top 3 sites but maybe I need to do a bit more research? Ahhh that’s such a good sign eek I really hope this is the one for you :) xxx

Pebbleinthesand · 21/01/2021 16:14

Thank you @Kayeyeem. Keeping everything crossed. I feel like there was a line there but it was very faint and obviously I'm looking for a line. I took a picture and keep obsessing over it 🤦‍♀️

Thank you @CookieMonster3001, sounds like you had a tough time last month, hope you're alright. Keeping my fingers crossed for you too!

@mackjm20 we've been trying since September but missed last month since we're going on holiday to the Highlands of Scotland at the end of August and I didn't fancy being ready to drop for the 10 hour journey there and back. I only had my coil removed in June so it may have been that the months before I've still had residual effects from that.

Kayeyeem · 21/01/2021 17:25

Arghh I just got over eager and took a test but of course it was a BFN 😩 think I've just convinced myself I've got symptoms when I haven't...maybe!
sore boobs
On and off cramps
Feeling nauseous
Headaches
Back ache
Extremely tired
Excess cervical fluid
Constipation (TMI sorry!)
Stuffy nose (which I had all through both my other pregnancies)
🤷🏽‍♀️
Feeling very deflated now 😔

Curiosity101 · 21/01/2021 19:19

@mackjm20 I'm ok thanks. Today was definitely a better day for the morning sickness. I'm doing my best to take it day by day. I'm now one day closer to never feeling this sick ever again 😅

Still spotting the tiniest tiniest bit of red/pink/brown. I'm convinced I've got a subchorionic hematoma, time will tell though.

Lollipop87 · 21/01/2021 19:29

Hi everyone, it’s been such a long time but just checking in after @mackjm20 kindly tagged me the other day 😊 I’m now 17+5 so had my 12 week scan the week before Christmas which was lovely as we did a little announcement on Christmas Day 🥰 I’ve also started to feel very faint fluttering movements this week which is amazing!

@CookieMonster3001 so sorry to hear about your mc, I really hope you have a sticky bean very soon Flowers

And looks like congrats are in order for some of you too, I think maybe 4 of you since the last time I was on?! So happy for all of you! I’ll try and keep updated with your news a lot more, as it meant so much to me being able to chat to all of you pre-trying. My MN thread has formed a very active Facebook group which keeps me busy!

Crossing my fingers for all of you TTC this cycle and sending baby dust 😘 xxx

@Kayeyeem I can't even tell you if those symptoms are good! I have totally forgotten what they are! :( I will have to do a bit of google research. But as I said I was totally laid back on my first 2. No rush just see how it went. This time is different. But if I remember correctly aren't the early signs similar to period symptoms? It sounds like you have lots of them so fingers crossed for you! Do you mind me asking what age your are?

@Lollipop87 That's a lovely looking baba!! Best of luck with everything.

@mackjm20 Well I won't lie. On both I had big events going on around the time I fell pregnant! On my 1st I wanted to enjoy Christmas so I had a few good nights out including Christmas Eve and tested on Christmas Day and on my second we had a wedding and big night out planned with friends that I wanted to enjoy so I waited until these were over. In hindsight it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do but thankfully it worked out both times. This time is going to be very different. I am 36 now and I was 27 and 30 the last two times. Plus if it is going to happen we would rather it happened sooner rather than later. So it's a lot less easy going this time.

@Pebbleinthesand best of luck in the morning!

Kayeyeem · 21/01/2021 20:56

@Lollipop87 Aww congratulations! I love a good scan pic 😊
@princesscallie No I don't mind at all I'm 37 (38 in March) so a little scared I'm past my best lol. I was 32 and 35 when I had the other 2. I was laid back with my 1st and that only took 4 months. 2nd very stressy and it took 18 months! Tried to be laid back this time but clearly it's not worked 😂 Yes symptoms are very similar to period ones. Why couldn't Mother Nature make it easier on us, like your urine turns blue when pregnant or something like that 😂

princesscallie · 21/01/2021 22:39

@Kayeyeem haha I just turned 36 at the end of December so not exactly a spring chicken myself. Haha id love that if it was that easy! It would make it all the more easy wouldn't it...both my girls took 4 months to conceive but I was very laid back on both!

Pebbleinthesand · 22/01/2021 08:34

I took a clear blue digital this morning and it came back positive, 1-2 weeks! 😁
According to my last period that puts me due 5th October. I'm absolutely over the moon and my husband was so happy when I told him. I actually got high fived like I was one of the lads 😂.
I can't wait to be able to tell my little girl she's going to be a big sister. It's going to be hard to not just blurt it out to her.

It's 5 cycles since we started but we only tried to 4 of them since we decided to have a break from trying last month.

If only that happened @Kayeyeem! Blue urine would definitely stop all this second guessing. In terms of symptoms I've had sore boobs and a bit of backache too so fingers crossed those are good signs for you 🤞
