@dex1521 ICs are Internet cheapies. Similar to OPKs, just a pack off amazon. You absolutely do not need to track your levels, but obviously being a POQS addict I was always going to! HCG levels should double every 2 days. So you can check it is progressing as it should. If you have a chemical pregnancy (a loss up to 5 weeks) 9/10 you know it is coming cause the lines start getting lighter. Then your period arrives!

@AMS19 ah I’m with you! I’ll probably be the same then and use IC up to 5 weeks just to make sure everything’s ok! Still need to ovulate before thinking about that though lol

Morning everyone! Hope you are doing well. So after all the worrying of not ovulating I had a positive OPK on the weekend and my temperature has started to rise, Yayyyy!! However, the worrying continues 😂 so I was taking pregnacare this cycle but I think it may have delayed ovulation as it didn’t happen til cd23. I stopped taking it a couple of days before just in case! But now I’m worried that my LP will be short. Do you think I should start taking it again?

@May94 also that's interesting about the prenatals?! Did you read something on that? I wonder would that be why I didn't ovulate until CD27 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've heard the vits are good for luteal phase but I'm pretty clueless about that if I'm honest 😂 xx

@May94 yeah for the majority of people prenacare delays your cycle. I started them before I came off the pill so not sure if ghat helped me, but I had a 27 day cycle and then ovulated CD13 second cycle so didn't effect me. But a lot stopped taking them when they extended their cycle!

@May94 I started taking pregnacare 3 months before coming off the pill, I don’t think they delayed anything for me! If anything my cycles seem to be regular enough! 😊

I'm loving that lots of people are ovulating right now 😂👏🏻 and lots of people are really close 🥳 so exciting!

I'm now CD 29 I think I ovulated Sunday night as it kept me awake 🤣 as DTD 6 times between Friday and Tuesday so keeping everything crossed that we've been lucky xxxx

@DrS44 and @May94 yes I read this too - I was taking Elevit which I'm guessing is basically the same - and I found a lot of people saying they found it delayed their ovulation and cycle in general. I don't think that was what delayed mine last time as I know I was the most stressed I've been in a long time for the 7-10 days before I was due to ovulate. But I stopped taking it anyway because it made my poo really black and I didn't like it (TMI sorry 😂)

It’s so exciting talking to people going through the same thing if I didn’t have POAS anonymous I’d have my OH ear chewed off by now 🤣 I can’t waiting for my OPKs to arrive today too so I can’t start seeing my LH levels 😇

My wonderful nausea that I haven’t had since Thursday has decided to make a return. Thank god for working from home if I was in the office I’d feel even worse. Trying to fill out spreadsheets whilst my hands are shaking is a nightmare 🤣

@DrS44 sounds like you've really covered your bases this month haha fingers crossed for you! When do you plan to test?

@Dex1521 eek that nausea sounds rough. I'm such a complainer when I feel poorly, I think I'll drive my OH to despair when I (hopefully) do fall pregnant with the amount I'll moan about various symptoms 😂 hopefully you ladies won't mind a bit of moaning. Don't get me wrong I'll feel like the luckiest person alive and be glad for pregnancy symptoms but inevitably I will still moan about them haha

CD11 today and more creamy than EWCM today so maybe not as close to ovulation as I thought. I'll have to try an OPK quite late today as I'm in the office so hopefully it'll tell me something fun at 6pm.

Today's revelation is BBT tracking, last month I obviously wasn't doing it properly as was temping at random points during the day and my chart just looked mad. But my temps have been pretty consistent this month so far I think it will be really easy to spot a temp change when it happens. I really feel like my own little science experiment at the moment!

@AMS19 I’ve been lurking and I’m so glad I’m not the only one continuing to test. I’ve gone through 4 frer, countless IC and now a cb digital. Oops.

@NamechangeTTC that is very impressive! I've done 4 FRER, 4 ICs and one CB digital. I'm saving my other CB digital for the weekend so I can hopefully get 3+ (i got 2-3 8 days ago). I'm going to continue with the ICs for another week then stop!

I’ve got two more cab digital but I’m only getting 1-2. I’m 4+5 on LMP and 4 exactly on ovulation date (cd21). Definitely continuing the IC as I had stocked up. I think this wait to get to 5 or 6 weeks is worse than I imagined!!

@NamechangeTTC haha I can't judge, I would be the same. That looks like great progression though. Can I check- did you get your first BFP on an IC on 10dpo? Same as when you got a BFP on the FRER? I always thought IC were much less sensitive so that's great if you did!

@Bells20 yes a faint one on IC. I used easy@home IC which are 10 apparently, frer 6 and normal IC 25. There’s the faintest of faint line on the blue IC 10dpo. Clearer here. I did 10,12,13 with them

My morning update - used my CB test first thing and got flashing smiley again! 😊 DTD last night! have noticed some ewcm this morning so used my cheapie OPK there and got low result of 0.22 (did this 3.5 hours after CB test without drinking so it wouldn’t be watered down)
Anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on? Why are OPKs still showing as low! 🤦🏼‍♀️

These OPKs are starting to annoy me, I try not to drink or wee a few hours before taking them! But I normally try to drink 3L of water a day and so thirsty not drinking! First world problems! 😂

@Bells20 honestly I've had to go into work today so I popped into boots- couldn't help myself and bought some FRERs. Now it's wayyy to early but I keep having a sly look at my bag. Defo a POAS... need to refrain til at least next week 🤣🤣 xxx

@positivitytree2020 my understanding is a flashing smiles just means you are producing progesterone and are going to ovulate in the near future, but haven't produced LH yet (which means it is imminent). LH, and therefore OPKs, are the ones you need as they will tell you when you are about to ovulate in the next 12-24 hours. You can release progesterone up to a week before. Basically they are a money grabbing con in my view 😂😂😂

Ahhh can’t believe this!! Yesterday afternoon I was 0.22 (low) and look at it today! Up to high! Better dig out the Lacey knickers and spread the legs 🤣
