@susiebluebell you poor thing!! I hope you’re ok and not too bruised. I honestly think because the embryo would just be a few cells at this point and would have already implanted if you’re around 18dpo nothing would be affected - I’m not just saying that to make you feel better. Hope you’re ok and the testing goes well tomorrow xx

susiebluebell · 28/11/2020 22:04

Thank you @leftitlate37 and @familybythesea 😭 I know the baby (potential baby...) is only a few cells big so it wouldn't be directly bumped by the fall, but I was worried something could be ruptured or or dislodged.. Unscientific but that's what I was worried about. I feel OK now, but I'm still imagining I feel blood 🙄

@leftitlate37 Yes who knows indeed - it can be so frustrating when you're not sure what your cycle is doing! Hoping it straightens out for you x

MamaPheebz · 28/11/2020 23:45

That sounds so painful @susiebluebell i hope you are ok!
When are you testing?
Do you all wait until you are due AF to test? I’ll be 1dpo tomorrow. I tested really early last month and all the negative tests really got to me. I need to find a way of keeping my mind healthy this time. X

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 09:34

Thanks @MamaPheebz I'm OK now though! We're just waiting for the shops to open and we'll get a test - didn't have any at home 🙄

I mean a lot of tests claim to be sensitive enough for a week before your expected period. I'm not convinced, and the accuracy does go up the longer you wait. I've seen tooo many people on here be confused or heartbroken by testing too early. Myself, I wouldn't test until AF was overdue, but I know I've left it very late this time (AF a week overdue) because it's the first time since MC that I've felt there was a real likelihood of a BFP.

HappyVibes · 29/11/2020 09:57

@MamaPheebz ooh 1DPO yay to a TWW buddy. I’m 4DPO today.

In regards to testing, I try not to test until AF due date or maybe 1-2days before if I get a feeling. We’ve done them before where we literally count down to the earliest date we can test with an FRER...but we’ve learnt that this just prolongs confusion and heartache for us. So we now do it as close to AF...there’s absolutely no way I could wait until so long after AF @susiebluebell I’m seriously impressed. Like that is some mega self control I just can’t even think how much that must have been. And now you’ve waited, and still waiting longer. I’m in awe at how cool you are about it ha. Xxx

elsimo · 29/11/2020 10:06

@susiebluebell!
It certainly sounds positive Smile
When did you have your miscarrIage?
You know its funny because I spent months squinting at tests looking for a line and when I finally got pregnant the line came up straight away with no question.
I am now wishing for a line to disappear so I can start trying again!!

leftitlate37 · 29/11/2020 10:21

This is so me @elsimo! today is first time got a definite no line at all!! Last week still got a faint one that I was thinking nah noting there, but if had been wanting a BFP I'd be going yippee a faint line ha. Cant have it both ways eh!

elsimo · 29/11/2020 11:21

@leftitlate37 yeah I know. I get really bad ovulation pain so I know when I'm ovulating without tests. I'm actually starting to feel ovulation pain a bit today which is about 2 weeks since I started bleeding myself. But it's only 5 days since I had my D&C and last sunday my test line was so dark 🤷‍♀️
Really want to just crack on a try if this is ovulation xx

MamaPheebz · 29/11/2020 11:48

Sorry to hear about you ladies waiting for your negative. It is such a strange emotion wanting a negative but really wanting the baby you lost. I ended up having a pregnancy test at the hospital because I had line eyes and was convinced there was still a faint line.
I think you are all right about testing early. I’ve got those easy at home tests and I’m pretty certain they always have a faint line. The two week wait feels like forever though doesn’t it.
How do you all get through it without going crazy? Xx

MamaPheebz · 29/11/2020 11:49

@HappyVibes
I have everything crossed for you. Were you tracking ovulation?

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 12:19

Right I'm very confused now ladies. We bought Clearblue digitals and a £1 cheapie just out of curiosity. It was first morning urine but had been in an airtight metal tub in the fridge for about 4 hours before we got home from shopping. I took it out of the fridge about 15min before testing, so that it would be closer to room temp. And yet we've got a Not Pregnant and an invalid... 😕

elsimo · 29/11/2020 12:43

@susiebluebell maybe its because the urine had sat for a while. I was using Asda's own brands and I got positives any time of the day.
I would say if u are a week past ur period being due then just use the cheapie because it would show anyway xx

MSG92 · 29/11/2020 12:51

@susiebluebell just test straight away rather than fridge etc, it might impact your result. As late as you are if you just hold a couple of hours and don't drink loads you should get a more accurate result.

MoMof4xx · 29/11/2020 12:57

Pushed my early scan to today and baby had a strong heartbeat. So relieved x

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 13:11

@MoMof4xx Ah how wonderful! You must be over the moon to see baby's heartbeat! 💕

@elsimo @MSG92 I'm holding onto the hope that it was just because the wee had sat in the fridge. The thought of a chemical or an anovulatory cycle (though I don't know much about symptoms of them) just feels really cruel. I wouldn't mind AF if it came on time - but I'm on cd41 with no signs of anything either way. Grr x

elsimo · 29/11/2020 13:20

I'm keeping everything crossed for you @susiebluebell xxx

MoMof4xx · 29/11/2020 13:25

@susiebluebell thank you. It really was. Everything crossed for u xx

HappyVibes · 29/11/2020 14:18

@susiebluebell have you got any more test, to test again with a held wee? I definitely think the fridge situation will not make it as accurate. It doesn’t sound like a chemical as you would likely have had bleeding by now with a CP. xxx

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 14:37

Just done another digital and says not pregnant again... 🤦🏻‍♀️

HappyVibes · 29/11/2020 15:22

Oh goodness @susiebluebell What are your cycles usually like? Are you usually regular? How many DPO are you? Xx

familybythesea · 29/11/2020 16:39

@susiebluebell I’m so sorry lovely :( That must be very stressful and disappointing. Is there a chance you were gearing up to ovulate but then actually ovulated later in your cycle? Xx

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 16:53

Usually my cycles are bang on 34 days. Since mc, I've had three cycles - 32, 35 and 34 days. So a bit of variation but not much. And by this late, it should be clear whether or not I'm pregnant. I could have ovulated later than thought, I tracked a rise but didn't catch the peak LH. I don't know what to make of it and I'm feeling quite deflated this afternoon xx

susiebluebell · 29/11/2020 16:55

@HappyVibes I'm 20dpo based on when I believe I ovulated x

familybythesea · 29/11/2020 17:19

@susiebluebell I really feel for you - sending you a hug. You did so well waiting and it seems very unfair. Xx

elsimo · 29/11/2020 17:34

@susiebluebell I'm really sorry, that must be so blooming frustrating xx
