Faint bfp or frer indent?

11dpo. Not fmu.

Came up within time frame. Vvv faint line. Am aware of the notorious indents frer can give so very reluctant to think anything of it yet.

One pic unedited, other has contrast up slightly.

Thoughts?

Congratulations!!! Been watching this thread, so happy for you all. I got a faint bfp yesterday at 13dpo. Waiting till tomorrow to test again then will do a digital on Saturday. X

@Katievb congratulations!!!!! It's nerve wracking isn't it! You wait for that bfp then as soon as you see it start panicking!!!

What is the absolute earliest you all recommend testing? 11dpo (4 days before my AF) or later?

@AMS19 @Moominmiss my tests came!!!! It's same as it has been for past week, think it's not going to go darker and I need to call it quits, I'm just struggling to let go of this bit of reassurance x

@TryingToNotTry I never tested before AF as after 15 months I found the negative tests harder to bare than Af coming, xxx

@AMS19 what a fabulous frer line!! Dye stealer right there!! I’m saving my last frer for tomorrow as I want to see (hopefully) definite progression from yesterday’s.

And like you said just goes to show that the cheapies are rubbish! I didn’t even bother doing a cheapie as I knew it’d just make me panic! I was so super nervous waiting for the digital to show. I’d convinced myself it’d be a not pregnant result.

@TryingToNotTry thank you so much. It’s definitely helped to ease my worries for now. I did manage to get a pregnant 1-2 with my last chemical so I won’t feel more at ease unless I see it progress on to 2-3 but this is a step in the right direction from the not pregnant result I got 2 days ago!

@AnxiousAnnie86 it was you that made me think about doing the digital today! So I’m glad I listened! It was the reassurance I needed today so thank you!!!

@Katievb how exciting!!! Congratulations, are you a serial tester like the rest of us? Good luck with testing tomorrow! What tests are you using?

@AnxiousAnnie86 I had a feeling your lines were as dark as they could get. I think you should take your reassurance from that though, they aren’t getting any lighter and you’re still having symptoms!!

Book yourself a scan and try to just enjoy the fact that in less than 8 months you’re going to have a baby!!!

@TryingToNotTry I got my first faint bfp at 10dpo but really was a squinter, 11dpo was when others could see it too. That was either 2 or 4 days before af for me. My apps all tell me af was due today so 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’d say it depends how disheartened you’d be seeing a possible bfn (even if you are pregnant).

But good luck for when you do decide to test!!

@Moominmiss eeee it's so nerve wracking isn't it! I couldn't look on digital I handed it to my husband to wait!! I was so nervous waiting for progression on weeks one, I think I gave it about ten days till I did the next one! At what point do we unite and stop testing?! 🤪

@Moominmiss Yes serial testing. I used a FRER yesterday. And have 1 for tomorrow and then a digital for Saturday. I have also been using ic every day but they arnt getting darker and then weirdly just vanish after I get a faint line? Did anyone else have this? Nervous for tomorrow x

@TryingToNotTry I fell in my first month! 11DPO on a FRER is possible, but if you get a BFN you also won't necessarily be out either! So depends if you want something more conclusive?!

Looking forward to nosecco tomorrow ladies! Two weeks tomorrow till scan, which will put me at nearly nine weeks, so hoping they won't have to do an internal! They make me sick every single time!!

@AnxiousAnnie86 6 weeks 2 days. It will either be the Friday or the Monday. I might wait to 6 weeks 5 days if I can as there is more chance of a heartbeat then ❤ I'll have to see how I go!

@AMS19 when can they pick up a heartbreat? I've never had an early scan before.... my nhs one I think will be first week Dec, as they are classing me as 8+5 already x

@AnxiousAnnie86 sometimes you can from 6 weeks but it isnt guaranteed. You generally can from 7 weeks though. So the nearer to 7 weeks the better!
I'm going to do a 10 week scan too so my husband can come to that. If I get that far my 12 week wouldn't be until Jan! 8+5 is amazing!!! Gosh well done! Xx

@AMS19 I'm not that far gone though as I know I ovulated later so I'm only 6 +4 but the nhs won't change that until dating scan xx

You’ll have to post your frer updates as you do them! Don’t worry about the ic, mine would show the faintest shadow line then disappear to nothing. It was only yesterday that the tests would keep a hint of anything and even then it would only be the faintest shadow.

@AMS19 thank you, I feel so much better today after seeing the digital result. But last time i did a digital, I then did one a week later and it was still 1-2 and then 2 days later it had gone down to not pregnant and I started bleeding so I’m still very wary.
I’ve not told my partner yet, I’m bursting to. I think I might tonight. So much for my surprising him 😂

@AnxiousAnnie86 nosecco tomorrow is a definite!!! Only 2 weeks until you’re scan, that’s amazing! I’m so jealous!!!
You guys are making me want to do a viability scan in a couple of weeks too. I’d originally planned to do one around 8 weeks but now I want to do one around 7!

I’m sure afterwards you guys will totally get a nosecco day again!
