Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. Hi Ladies!

How are we all? 6dpo over here, the usual achy/sore veiny boobs but I seem to get thay every cycle so not reading into that at all! To be honest this is the whole TWW window were I really haven’t been that bothered, I think it is because we didn’t DTD enough and I’m fed of TTC 😂

@ChinChilly fingers crossed that you not caring results in a carefree bfp!! When you least expect it and all that.

@Juno231 yes and no! I feel surprisingly calm, which is a big surprise 😂 I did another FRER this morn and had a darker line, so that’s reassuring. I feel like today has been the least symptoms I’ve had so far. I was thinking in the next few days I would write out my symptoms by DPO if you might all be interested? I’ve been making notes on FF every day ☺️ How are you getting on? Saw your updated chart earlier xx

@MintGreenLife aw glad the line is getting darker! I’d love to know your symptoms plus I’d be interested in the supplements you took if it’s not too much trouble x

Keeping with the party theme... maybe something about the awkward slow dance? The one who got a bit too tipsy and is dancing on the tables (always me😆)? Or maybe we are slumming it at the after party?

Ha! @Kay00 I like the party vibe. Every time I see the party harder title it makes me think of die harder, the die hard movie sequel 😳😂 So I keep thinking, party hard with a vengeance! I'm also always the one that ends up too tipsy as well lol.

CD16 here and sweet FA happening. I've been LH'ing since CD10, got what I thought was (still negative) but close to a peak on CD11, and now I'm back to not even a squinter 🤷🏻‍♀️

Would love to hear your write up @MintGreenLife!! I might need to take a leaf out of your book and go gluten / dairy free, or at least TSH test after this cycle, I've been ovulating so late.

@ChinChilly - hope your chilled approach this cycle pays off! They do say when you stop thinking about it it happens, it's just quite hard to do lol. I completely get the fed upness though.

@LauraT94 Happy first TWW! Hope you get a decent temp rise tomo. And Kay is right, all it takes is one little swimmer!

@Juno231, your chart is still looking good, despite RHR?! Fingers crossed AF stays away.

And @Kay00 - defo think your chart is promising for ovulation yesterday?! Let us know how the temp is tomo!

Morning ladies. Well my temp is up... to 36.16, so maybe I have ovulated? But I can hardly get excited by such a low post ov temp! Im just going to have to wait a few more days in case I'm a slow riser... and keep testing in case I haven't had my peak yet 🤷‍♀️

@Kay00 it's definitely possible but you've had higher temps towards the start of your cycle so I'm not sure, hopefully temps in the next few days can confirm for you!

My temp was only 36.3 this morning after being 36.31 yesterday. Putting in a similar temp for tomorrow is still adding the cross hairs though and saying I ovulated on CD35 (Monday) so I'm remaining hopeful!

@laurat94 yeah... im not hopeful... low BBT temps and not a snif of a LH surge. I think its most probable I haven't ovulated yet. Its also really early in the cycle for me (I usually ovulate around CD30) and my body trolled me with a fake ovulation last cycle too 😆 gave me crosshairs then took them away again.

Your cycle is sounding hopeful! Do you have a chart you can share?

@kay00 ha i agree with you that this might be another troll chart and it's best to be cautiously optimistic!

@crabette @MintGreenLife I actually got my AF just before bedtime last night! I reckon it would have started today lol but we DTD in the evening so perhaps it brought it on. Cycle 12, CD 2 reporting in 😬

Yes, I love the idea that all our pregnancy graduates are dancing away at the very sober after party 🥳

How long did it take for most of you to get a proper period after coming off the pill? I came off 5 weeks ago and had my withdrawal bleed but nothing since?

Is it normal for it to take a while then? Me and my partner have been having unprotected sex and I’ve been getting some symptoms of being pg including being bloated, headaches, going to for a wee a lot but I did a test 2 days ago which was negative so I’m confused?

6dpo here, temp still up, nothing to report yet. Won't be testing or anything until I miss AF if I get that far Xx

Hey @MeganChar1 I came off the pill in September and am still awaiting my period - currently on CD60. To be honest from what I understand it’s fairly normal to wait a while so I wouldn’t stress (although I massively stressed about it the past few weeks!) - the feelings you’re getting may be related to ovulation. I’ve started to use OPKs and noticed my body tried to ovulate but didn’t quite make it so I guess will try again fairly soon before I have my period. Everyone is different though, hopefully AF turns up soon - or a BFP, whichever comes first!

Aw @Juno231 sorry about AF! Cycle 12 does seem lucky to me though, sending much baby dust!

We should definitely have a parallel thread as the After Party! For BFP graduates of this thread 😂 I'm sure we'd all check in and out of both to see how folk are getting on!

@MancMama39 Good signs the temp is staying up!

@Kay00 Your chart looks (kind of!) similar to mine. Very low BBTs, so a slight rise looks promising - FF actually gave me crosshairs a few days ago too, but I know from experience my post ov temps are higher than this, so I adjusted to fix it.

Funny you've had EWCM though, that's the only thing that would make me go, hmmm!

I've been ovulating I think around CD20-22 in the past few cycles, so see how the temps go for both of us! I'm still LH'ing too but getting nowt.
