Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. This our 4th thread (I think!) and we've had a few ladies get their BFP recently which is so exciting! Join us, won’t you?

@TheHotelCalifornia thank you, you're making me well up now!! I of course will, for as long as you're all happy for me to. In the next few days after I've done a few more tests and feel a bit calmer about it all I will send over my chart, what I did this cycle, a brief write up of the past 8 months etc :) how are you feeling today?

Yep I had a vague plan in my head and a couple of ways I would tell him, but that went out the window! He was about to get in the shower and I asked if I could get in the bathroom first and said 'I'll just be 3 mins'. Did the test and set a timer and sat patiently on the loo (with the seat down ha) not expecting to see anything. Picked it up and looked at it in shock for about 5 seconds, ran through to him still in bed and said 'I think I might be pregnant'. He looked at the line and wasn't convinced, so I said I could do a clear blue, but as it was so early it may come back negative. He set a timer on his phone, then we looked at it and I said 'yep, I'm pregnant.' Not the way I planned it ha.

@Flowerbudd ahh thanks so much, so nice you're still checking in with us too :) if you don't mind I might send you a DM? Yep so I would be due late July it seems, not sure if that's quite right with my super long cycles - I ovulated CD30 this time! xx

@mintgreenlife sometimes that’s the best way! Just doing it in the moment!! Ahhh I bet you’re both just absolutely thrilled. Yessss please stay with us and keep us updated! And yes a cycle recap would be amazing thank you!

This morning the bleeding has stopped, was only that bit when I wiped last night, have put a pad on just in case but nothing, only a little pink/light brown around my cervix when I feel it. My temp also went up to 36.68. So I’m feeling a little happier than last night but trying to just not think about it and focus on getting to tomorrow without AF showing up as that would just be good to feel like my LP is a little bit longer. No cramps yet. I also feel like I feel a bit sicky/nauseous but think I’m just imagining it!! No other symptoms or anything though so not feeling confident at all.

@TheHotelCalifornia Hey 😀 Im really good thank you, Im just over 8 weeks now, had a scan a week ago to check everything and all going well. Still a nervous wreck but definitely feeling excited now :) keeping everything crossed for you! Its so hard not to symptom spot but you just can't help it! Xxx

@TheHotelCalifornia yay temp looks great! And am so glad the spotting has stopped ☺️ Of course, I’ll write up a cycle recap including all of the symptoms I noted down in my TWW xx

My EWCM has dried up and my cervix has moved back to medium, firm and closed. No LH spike and no temp rise so I think it was a false alarm. Last cycle my body tried three times before I actually ovulated... so sounds like it will be doing the same again 😑

If anyone has any advice on how to push my body over the edge... and actually ovulate when its trying then that would be appreciated 😆

I've done it... I have placed an order online for a TSH and 21 days Progesterone test. Hopefully one of these will highlight an issue if I have one that could explain my low pre and post ovulation temps.

@mintgreenlife, will do 😊 im hoping all is fine too... but my temps are just so so low at the moment and I'm wondering whats up... although perhaps the easiest thing to do would have been to swap the battery in my thermometer first 😆

BFN for me today and had some spotting this afternoon which I don't think I really ever get at this stage? 11DPO but have a feeling AF might show tomorrow. Temp and rhr bounced back up today though, damn troll chart...

Did you not really have many symptoms then?

@Emmgrem thank you 😘 not really to be honest. I’ll write out everything I noted down by DPO in the next few days, but in brief my boobs have been hurting on the sides for a few days, and I had some twinges I think on 6DPO and 8DPO. Had been getting quite hot in the night too, but thought the heat was just from the usual increase in progesterone and I’ve had the sore side boobs before AF before xx

@Juno231 how strange 😂 thanks so much, I was gobsmacked also 😂 obviously I hoped my super super faint line yesterday would turn out to be a BFP, but was fully ready to pick up the test and it be blank. Of course I will, that’s really sweet of you ☺️ How are you getting on? Xx

@MintGreenLife see i somehow missed you saying there was a faint line yday?! So today's announcement was def a shock lol but so so happy for you! It's making me a bit melancholy tbh that I'll be losing all these MN friends 😅. There's a lady I quite liked that I chatted to Feb-May when she got her bfp and I've never seen her again but I still think about her often 🙊

BFN today for me although my temp and rhr are really good today (I don't dare attach as I think that's what blocked my message 2h ago). I've also had a bit of spotting today which I want to say is really unusual for me? Maybe AF will show early tomorrow and I'll just have a shorter LP this cycle!

@Juno231 ah yes, I had the faintest line in the world on an IC, but it was so silly and hardly there I intended to ignore it as best I could, so wasn’t expecting an official BFP today. Thanks again ☺️ I know what you mean, there was someone I chatted to initially, I actually think it was on a thread with you before our post pill threads even excised, and like you I thought she seemed really nice and seemed to click more with her, then she got her BFP and completely disappeared 😂

Well over all that sounds somewhat positive apart from the BFN of course. I honestly think judging from my IC yesterday I never would have gotten a proper line until at least after AF was due had I stuck to using them xx

@MintGreenLife OMG!!!!!! I've had a wild day today and just sat down and your potentially FRER testing popped into my head and I thought I'd come on to catch up. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so so so happy for you, honestly made my night 🥰 I still remember you starting the original thread off, so for you to get your BFP really gives us all hope! And please don't disappear, most of us are super invested, and do love to hear how the jelly beans are progressing!

@TheHotelCalifornia - your chart is looking spot on?! Are you going to FRER soon, or try to hold off?

@Kay00 Sorry you had a false alarm 😢 Where did you get your TSH test? My temps are also really low, and I'm ovulating late - so thinking of doing the same. I have also bought a new thermometer battery though lol.
