Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. Are the clear blue duo ovulation tests that check oestrogen and LH any good?! I’ve tried to use the cheap OPKs with my last cycle without any sort of line progression. Was wondering if these may be better?! Anyone else use these?!

@crabette I have bought the tests through Lets Get Checked online. I'll let you know how it all goes but it looks like I might need to send off a small tube of blood 👻

@moocher90 I don't know about the duo tests but I also really struggle to catch my positive too. I did catch it once though so I know it can happen 😆 but I got through nearly 50 OPKs last cycle and not one OPK was more than 50%! 😑

@Kay00 I’ve ordered some CB ones and shall update you if they are any good.

@moocher90 yes, please do! Im so sick of seeing negative OPKs 😒 last cycle I just gave up, then 2 days later I ovulated 😆 so I probably just missed it!

Im on CD15... I have had several days of high, soft open cervix and EWCM. Then this morning everything switched off (low hard cervix and no fertile mucus)... then this evening everything switched back on again! Tingling nips + high, open, soft cervix + EWCM... my body is trying! 🤞🤞 I really hope I get an LH surge soon!

@Kay00 I done a female fertility health check which I just sent off today as I’m CD3 with a company called hertility. Had to do the finger prick and fill a vial with blood. Should get my results in around 10 days

Evening ladies,

I stopped taking the pill end of May. I had a spotting in June (2 days) , normal period in July, Aug and Sept. Oct I spotted (2 days) and Nov spotted (2 days).

My question is.... has anyone else had spotting after stopping the pill? When did normal periods return for you? We are trying to conceive after multiple miscarriages.

Think it's all over for me guys, pretty sure AF has arrived this morning :( pretty upset to be honest as I had some weird symptoms this cycle but guess my body is just still all over the place after the pill. Still got an 8 day LP too. Going to do some research tonight to see what else we can do and just try and throw everything at it this cycle. Keeping my fingers crossed for any of you other guys in the TWW this cycle xxxx

@MintGreenLife thats a beautiful chart! It also helps me make a little more sense of all the fertile CM I have been getting... its out of character for me, but clearly normal for you ! Congrats again!!

@thehotelcalifornia, oh no i'm sorry to hear that. Have you done anything in an attempt to lengthen your LP so far? I have been using B-Complex vitamins which have been really successful in extending mine (from 8-10 days to 13-14 days).

@k80awe Welcome! are you saying that you have only had very light spotting instead of full periods for 3 out of 6 cycles since coming off the pill?

Sounds like we have been of the pill around the same amount of time I came off on 7th June.

Thank you @kay00. I've been taking Agnus Castus this cycle so will continue that and I've just ordered some Vitamin B6. I that different from B6 complex?

B complex even!

@Kay00 I think it's possibly just our bodies building oestrogen for ages and struggling to get to the point of ovulation, I've always had it ever since I came off the pill, worst cycle it went on for over 2 weeks!

@TheHotelCalifornia I'm so sorry to hear this, that's gutting. Along with AC I was taking a B complex as well as B6 and vitamin C to help with my LP. Difference between B6 and B complex is B6 is just B6, and B complex contains all of the B vitamins, but often not a high enough dose B6 to help with the LP, which is why people take extra B6. I read that taking a higher dose of B6 works better when taking in conjunction with a B complex.

@K80AWE I had fairly light periods post-pill, apart from one random heavy AF after a 55 day cycle!

@MintGreenLife @kay00 I use LGC for my AMH test!

@TheHotelCalifornia I'm really sorry to hear that :( I have no further advice to give other than what the others already have said. Hope you're okay!

My temps and RHR are still kinda not doing anything, no AF yet either. Just waiting for her to show now!

I have been lurking on here the last week as I had a feeling you were going to get your BFP, and I’ve been reading to check when you were going to test 😁😁 yesterday was the only day I didn’t check this thread haha. I’m actually sitting here smiling away. So pleased for you 😊

@Juno231 everything is looking good, how does your chart compare to previous charts?

@TheHotelCalifornia Yes, I take a B-Complex which contains quite high levels of B6(100mg) and B12(500ug) plus some other B Vits (B1, B2 etc).

@K80AWE My Periods started very light but have been getting progressively heavier. My last period was 6 days(!!), but only 2 days of heavy flow.

@TheHotelCalifornia I'm so sorry AF is arrived. But onto a new, fresh cycle now! And it sounds like you're doing some good research into extending your LP.

I'm feeling a bit deflated over here. After DH and I making the decision on Friday that we would start TTC in the next cycle, I was so convinced AF was imminent and we would be well on our way...

CD35 now and nothing!! Had three days of spotting (barely anything, just a few specks) thurs-sat and AF has still not appeared. I was convinced I had ovulated around CD16, so I would be coming up to a 20 day LP now... I'm going to do a LH test today to see where I'm at, maybe I didn't ovulate when I thought I did 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just want AF to come so I can start a fresh cycle and get trying!!

@LauraT94 have you tested? you could have caught first time!

@kay00 As for comparing it to other charts - first time I've checked for this cycle and it's definitely the lowest my temps have been! Other than that I'm not seeing much of interest?

@Juno231 we haven't DTD at ALL since coming off the pill 18th October 😢 so as much as I'd love to have the excitement of testing, there's no chance haha! DH hates condoms with a passion (as do I tbh!) So we were just waiting 🤷🏼‍♀️

I could do one just for fun I suppose 😂 I can definitely see myself becoming a POAS addict!
