Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. This our 4th thread (I think!) and we've had a few ladies get their BFP recently which is so exciting! Join us, won’t you?

Oh and sorry for spamming lol but I'm not sure if I've mentioned that one notable thing for me this week is that my acne stopped around 6dpo! Haven't had a single spot since and my skin isn't the least bit oily so I'm hoping this is a good sign 🤘

Thanks @Juno231 - I didn't actually realise that's what those little triangles meant, in terms of temp timings! I've discounted those two and it's back to something more sensible. The timings weren't hugely different to be honest - 5am and 5.15am instead of nearer 6am. But obviously does make a difference.

I think your RHR not going down as well is a good sign as it could easily be just a daily blip in temp... also I'd definitely be counting the changes in your skin as a good sign too! You're defo not out yet 🙏

@crabette I didn't realise how sensitive the timings were either! I now set my Fitbit silent alarm to wake me up at 5.30 to take my temp. Definitely seems to be more reliable.

In terms of apps, what do you all recommend? I've been using clue for years now so will continue using that anyway but the BBT chart is useless on there. Also using Femometer and FF. I think I like FF the most as the charts are the most scientific looking/easiest to read!

Any other recommendations?

@ams19 so pleased for you! Im really rooting for you as you were my cycle buddy! Glad to hear your little jelly bean is progressing nicely 😍

@juno231 and @mintgreenlife you both look like you're in good situations... a small temp drop and a negative on an IC mean nothing much at this stage! Deffo test again tomorrow Mint... perhaps with that Frer? And Juno... Will you test tomorrow?

My insane amounts of EWCM (soooo odd for me... and this early in my cycle too) have continued and we DTD this morning (hence the late rise 😂🙈) but still getting lows on my OPKs... ill keep testing and DTD every other day 😇

@Kay00 yay for EWCM, hopefully you’ll get a positive OPK in the next few days 😊

Maybe I will try a FRER tomorrow - I’ve had them such a long time I may as well use them up 😂 I noticed a real squinter of a line on the IC, but may just be an evap. Not thinking into it too much today, apart from about 20 mins of Googling 😂 trying to ignore it now though as most likely nothing!

Sorry @MintGreenLife - think it was you 😂🙈 You're right though!! Maybe as Kay says, try the FRER tomo? I defo wouldn't trust an IC at this stage either. How are you feeling otherwise?

@LauraT94 I'm using FF, and the supplementing with Premom for OPK's - but I was using Natural Cycles til last month, which I liked as well. Nice interface - though a bit less scientific looking. But it's FDA approved to use as contraception too, so I kind of trusted the algorithm!

@Kay00 well done for the tracking and DTD every other day! Think that's the only way you'll get to the bottom of what's going on. Weird you've had tons of EWCM so early - I had one day of just clear/wet - which is more than I usually notice! But that's been it. I should say thanks, as it's you that gave me the nudge to get LH'ing this early - usually I'd not have bothered for another while. But actually have had a few readings, which is weird for me! Will keep doing, at least daily, to see what happens. Think we're at a similar stage, CD13 here.

@crabette I think I will ☺️ I don’t feel much symptom wise to be honest. I’ve had sore nipples since O, but that happens every cycle. Boobs are a bit sore on the sides today, but looking back at my last cycle I had that a few days before AF. Think I’ll just keep testing each day for the heck of it 😂

@mintgreenlife I think a shadow of a line could be quite exciting... I have never even had that!

@Kay00 I’m trying my best for today not to get my hopes up or read too much into it, probably best to take it as a negative for now! X

@crabette @laurat94 yeah it's funny what an impact it can have - a one hour difference for me tends to be a whole 0.1 which on your chart would have quite an impact! I use a temp adjuster online every now and then though as missing temps freak me out lol.

Girls help I'm freaking out ☹️ my temp rose again, 36.62 but this morning I had some yellow CM only when I wiped and only really looking for it. Just been to the loo and had pink when I wiped like only once but as I wiped I could feel it if that makes sense?? I haven't had any AF cramps and I'm only 6DPO so I'm just really freaking out that it's all over and AF is here and I have a 6 day LP :( I can't take having such a long cycle and then such a short LP especially after trying Agnus Castus. Attaching last month's chart too, I had cramps 6 and 7 DPO then AF arrived suddenly 8DPO. please please help reassure me I feel so upset ☹️

@TheHotelCalifornia I totally feel you - last cycle when my spotting started I burst into tears and sobbed probably for a good 20mins, and I am really not a crier. It's just heartbreaking. I think as your temp rose today I'd be surprised if the spotting is AF related, although if I'm being completely honest with you I did get AF about 3 cycles ago on a fairly big temp rise. Unfortunately I think it'll just be a waiting game. I don't want to get your hopes up by saying it could be implantation bleeding, and of course that totally could be the answer, but I spent ages googling implantation bleeding last cycle only to get AF the next day. I think you're just going to have to wait another day or two and see what happens. I'm so so sorry though, I totally know how that feels and it's horrible. Can you snuggle up and have a nice dinner etc this evening? Look after yourself xxx

@TheHotelCalifornia okay personally I'd just be super excited about it being implantation! If you note spotting on the chart then fertility friend would get excited too! How much earlier was today's temp btw?

@MintGreenLife it's so hard to know isn't it!! It Def is a waiting game. Just so hard to wait! I'm so impatient!! Crazy how all your little feelings of hope and optimism can just be taken away in a second :( have also been Googling IB and all sorts, no conclusive answers of course so just need to wait and see what happens tomorrow. Thank you for sharing your thoughts xxx

@Juno231 I guess it could be. I just have a bad feeling. I just don't know my body and cycle at all so don't know what's happening! Hate being in the dark! Maybe I should be more optimistic.

I took today's temp twice cause my cat woke me up! So 4.20am was 36.56, then fell back asleep for a bit and took it again at 5 (usual time) and it was 36.62. any thoughts? Thank you lovely xxx

@TheHotelCalifornia @Juno231 could totally also be right, I guess the issue is it could go either way. Really hope it doesn't continue for you and your temp goes up tomorrow xxx

@TheHotelCalifornia I'm not a purist so I'd put the 5am one down as the 0.06c increase over 40 min sounds spot on in terms of temp increase over time. As dorky as that sounds!

@TheHotelCalifornia oops totally ignore me I was looking at the old chart!

@TheHotelCalifornia the dip at 5dpo is in line with a secondary oestrogen surge though as they range from 5-9 DPO I think? Nothing to worry about and you bounced back! Fingers crossed spotting today was implantation spotting 🤞

I’ve been abit awol, everything is just abit busy at the mo, work is crazy and I’m doing a pretty intense course for the next 14 months! 3DPO so nothing really going on I’m still not very hopeful for this cycle & I think I’m going to take the next couple of months off from tracking etc.

Annoyance of the week...had to send a £200 pair of boots back to Kurt Geiger ( I don’t normally spend that on shoes) they are those biker style with the crystals/stones/studs on well the stones all starting popping out, only had them since September, anywhooo I’ve sent them back, apparently they have 21 days to inspect them and decide if they want to refund me 🙄

@chinchilly... grr that is annoying. You would expect a £200 per of boots to last a reasonable lifetime... of more than one month!! I had a Google and Kurt Geiger do some gorgeous biker boots 🤩

@thehotelcalifornia im really hoping your spotting is just that, I have certainly had TWW's with occasional spotting around the 5/6 day mark that have gone on to be a decent length. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Kay00 they are lovely boots, i had the ‘sander’ ones, so disappointed with the quality my email was along the lines of ‘I would expect this quality of primark but not kurt keiger’ 😂 I would never spend £200 on boots normally but I’ve had my eye on them since last year 🙄

@MintGreenLife I would definitely take the FRER. If the squinter is anything FRER should hopefully show something tomorrow!

Must be due a BFP or three before Christmas on here.

No news here, 2dpo (I think - waiting on crosshairs on FF).
