Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. This our 4th thread (I think!) and we've had a few ladies get their BFP recently which is so exciting! Join us, won’t you?

Oh gosh, I just had an emotional break down, been told that our department may be relocated into the town centre which means we would lose our free parking, parking in the town centre is upwards of £10 a day and I am full time so around £200 a month... literally burst into tears! So unlike me, I hope I’m this emtional for a good reason! 😂

@AMS19 don't forget to use a bbt temp adjuster if you took your temp unusually early today!

@ChinChilly oh gosh fingers crossed the emotions aren't just parking related! Do you have to travel far to get in?

@kay00 saw your other post and I'm sure we'll be able to see if you've ovulated even if you discard that odd temp!

@Juno231 not really its about 4 miles, I live next to a train line so I could get the train, but public transport here is equally as expensive, plus i HATE public transport 😕

Oh no @ChinChilly lets hope there is a silver lining and something exciting is causing the emotions!

Thanks @Juno231 I did but it didn't help. I'll see what tomorrow brings. If it stays low I'll assume I'm out this month. My LH levels are back to nothing again so I definitely peaked yesterday morning...

@ChinChilly ah sorry to hear this, how frustrating. When are you planning on testing out of interest? You've said a few things this cycle that sound very close to mine. I know PMS is also related to it as well but you have to get your BFP one month :)

I had a breakdown yesterday after (very close to having it during) the food shop cause I lost my shopping list to then find it at the bottom of the trolley stuck to the bags..i cried on my way home 😂

oof AF just showed up! no warning whatsoever, what a rude witch

@AMS19 🤞🏼 a BFP would solve the parking issue temporarily 😂

@Flowerbudd AF is due the 4th November so I’m going to try and wait until then! Omg the lost shopping list sounds like something I would do 😂 when I burst out crying over the parking my OH was like why are you crying and I was just blubbering i dunnnnooo 😂😂 how are you getting on @flowerbudd?

@chinchilly is cycling an option? This might not work if you become heavily pregnant however 😅

@flowerbudd hmm... seems like a rather irrational thing to get upset about, hopefully that's a good sign 🤞 I quite like loosing the shopping list... it gives me an excuse of go off piste and buy pizza and biscuits 😋

@Kay00 my OH suggested cycling as he used to cycle to work but there wouldn’t be any shower facilities and I think I’d be abit smelly by lunchtime, they will only give certain people parking for some strange reason. Plus I’ve just brought a new car car so that’s adding to my annoyance

@chinchilly yes that certainly is annoying! I used to do a 2.25 hour commute to work each way (45 minute walk, 1 hour train, 30 min walk) and it was gruelling. I had to get up at 05:30 just to get into work for 9am 😑😑😑 it all ended when I reported (and successfully took to court) a guy for sexual harassment... but that's a story for another day! Im lucky enough to work just a 15 minute walk now from my house (although that has reduced to just a few yards to my spare bedroom during covid).

@Kay00 sounds like an interesting story, but that commute sounds horrendous! I could probably walk it in less than hour but it is an extra hour on to each end of your day! I do work from home half of the week at the moment but obviously post covid that will probably change 😕

Bloody hell @Kay00 sounds like a shitty situation all round! Definitely best off out. Any more progress on the OPKs?

@ams19... no, they went back down again today. Im hoping I missed the peak as I had a temp rise this morning... I just hope a get a couple more days of 36.3+ to confirm ovulation 🤞

That is a good temp rise @kay00 🤞 whenever you did ovulate looks like you've covered all DTD basis!

@ChinChilly haha! Exactly what i said 'i dont know why Im crying' 😭😂 Im all good thank you, still minimal symptoms but tired today and feel a heavy pulling feeling sometimes so little reminders that i need to take it easy at times :)

@Kay00 haha, good idea about the pity buying though!! It was a good sign for me, I got my BFP over a week ago now 😊 i just keep dipping in here as this group is so lovely and I want to see how everyone gets on.
Omg your story sounds awful :( Im so glad you won that and that your commute sounds 100 times better

@Flowerbudd 😂😂 hormones aye, I’m only ever emotional when it comes to animals ans stupidly emotional like the Lloyds advert with the horse and the baby horse used to make me tear up 😂 so having an outburst over parking was abit odd! Especially seen as the reality our department moving is quite slim now I’ve had chance to think about it rationally 😳

Yes definitely take it easy, not easy cooking another human! My friend is pregnant, only about 6 weeks and she is really struggling with nausea

I'm actually quite worried about the nausea. I couldn't take the normal combined pill because of nausea so had to take a low dose one. Not sure what that means for pregnancy hormones. The great thing i guess is working from home helps I guess. And obviously all worth it!

@AMS19 I worry about the nausea aswell, folic acid was making me feel really nauseous and I was not coping with it at all

@ChinChilly oh bugger did you just stop taking it? I'm on pregnacare currently, going to stay on that for either 3 months or until I fall pregnant, whichever comes first. Luckily apart from bright yellow glowing wee (?!?!) I've had no side effects
